I appreciate its existence. The Love's on the other side of the hwy - which I don't like - has truck stop facilities. The 4 stars are for how friendly the employees here were.

We came to visit, stopped in and checked it out. We were excited to see a brand new, spacious trucks too with room for big rigs and cars alike. The Carl's Jr. next door can be accessed through a doorway on the East side of the store. Plenty of items truckers need, plus giant stuffed toys, food and snacks, cigarettes, lottery tickets, fuel for all vehicles. It's a nice addition to Enid!

There is also a Golden Chick eatery inside, but it is temporarily shut down due to remodeling. We weren't here too long to check everything out, but what we did see was a little strange for a gas station. First off, I was running not walking to the restroom cause...you know this girl had to go! The restroom didn't smell bad, but there were wadded up paper towels on the counter, toilet paper on the floor and coming out of some of the stools. There was also a scale and a changing station in there. I couldn't get some of the faucets to work until I tried the very last one then BINGO we have a winner! Still not sure how I feel about those motion sensor things. By the time I came out, my husband had done fueled and was heading into the men's restroom, which he said was clean. I started looking around and taking pictures. Actually the store smelled clean. One of the employees was wiping down his counter, continuously spaying cleaner all over. I also saw the door to the Golden Chick that had been closed off with plastic hanging down from the ceiling, boards on the floor and with saw dust. Along with tons of fully stocked food, snacks and drinks was a corner filled with other products to purchase. Some of the items I've never seen before in a truck stop. The first to catch my eye was the white heads, for just $10.99 you can buy wig holders here! They also have very warm looking parkas.. aren't we about out of that season? There was also hats, sunglasses, purses, shirts, a kite on the wall that looks as though it didn't belong there along with the boxed up dolls at the top of the shelves holding the 2 lt. soda bottles and the wines. We didn't end up buying anything here except the fuel. Although I also want to mention that other than the guy that was so focused on cleaning his counter he didn't even bother recognizing us, the other employee closer to the entrance greeted us when we entered AND upon leaving with a big smile. He's kind of hidden where he's seated behind another counter, but seemed friendly and smiling...now if I was the manager, I'd have him up cleaning that women's restroom and putting up stock, maybe even putting away those winter outfits. This has most definitely been an interesting stop...just my two cents..

Love's Travel Stop May 14, 2026…read more This Love's was in the middle of a remodel during my visit, so there was some construction activity and temporary restroom trailer facilities in place while the work was being completed. Given the circumstances, the location was doing a good job of remaining operational and serving customers. The staff was friendly and helpful, and it was clear they were making the best of a temporary situation. While renovations can create some inconvenience, it's encouraging to see the company investing in upgrades and improvements. I'm interested to see what the finished location looks like once the project is complete. Overall, a solid stop during a period of transition, and I look forward to visiting again after the remodel is finished.

My husband had to wait 20 minutes for an ice tea refill, my friend was not able to place order for a 2nd beer for about the same time because the waiter would just not come back to check on our table. The caesar salad I ended up eating did taste good, the pizza was decent. The waiter did take the dips off our checks because we sent it back, so I appreciated his responsibility with this. It was a very disappointing experience, 2 of our friends drove from Norman to meet us here and we are not able to see each other often. The ambiance was also very loud and hard to have a conversation without speaking very loud. I do not recommend and will not go back to this restaurant.
