Very nice facility and it was kept up and clean. Sadly, they had closed by the time I had stopped but I did get to peek in the windows of the information center! Bathrooms were of course accessible and open. Plenty of RV and BIG RIG parking. There is a dump station (which I did use) with non-potable water. You MUST go into the RV parking area to access the dump station. If you decide to park in the BIG RIG parking area, you will not be able to access the dump station as you exit. I discovered this after I had parked. Being creative, I parked in the first BIG RIG spot and the following morning, I just backed out until I could access the RV and vehicle lane and then made my way to the dump station. Trash cans were emptied and the parking lot is well lit (although one set of lights as you drove in was not operational) but there was still plenty of light for safety. I tow a 40' rig and had no problem getting in or out of the dump station area. Also, this rest stop is easy on and off of the interstate. One of the nicer rest stops I've overnighted at.

And if they don't do that, maybe get maintenance or someone to make sure the faucets, soap and towel dispensers are full and working. Such a waste to pay 4 people at a welcome center to NOT welcome people. Bathrooms were clean and well designed as was the exterior.

It's located a few miles east of Henryetta and there is a corresponding rest area across the highway for westbound I-40 traffic. Note that it is a "rest area" only.
