This place is too cute! I would say their facilities range somewhere between an Airbnb, glamping, and a family owned hotel. My hubby and I were looking for a place where we had easy access to nature from our hotel, places to chill outside, and to stay in a cutesy place (okay, the last desire was all mine). Check, check, and check. We met the co-owners who are super friendly and chill. Janie showed me all their cabins. Each one is uniquely decorated, there is no way I could pick a favorite. Though we could not take advantage of their awesome outdoor seating they have created a whole venue to encourage people to relax in the outdoor kitchen, by the multiple fire pits, by the pond, etc. There is a short trail just past the garden my hubby and I took. It was relaxing. I don't know how long it is because we stopped walking it as soon as the rock path turned to grass. The outdoor kitchen has multiple grills and a stone pizza oven. There is also a fire pit with a huge moveable wire grill you can swing over it. The cabins might look small from the outside, but they were very spacious. Each cabin contains a bed(s), chairs, a table, and a bathroom with a sink cabinet and shower. The beds had the bedding on them. The bathroom included two towels, two washcloths, one hand towel, a floor mat, shampoo/conditioner wash, and a bar of soap. They will make coffee for you in the morning in the covered outdoor kitchen, just be sure to mention if you would like it. They do not have food for sale on site I saw, so bring your own. There is no microwave or frig so keep that in mind. There is no where to hang or store your clothes really. None of that is a problem for me, but it might be for others so I wanted to mention it. My hubby and I had bad weather the second day so we were confined to the indoors. It was nice just being somewhere else and seeing something different outside. They really have created a beautiful venue for gathering together. We would love to come back in the spring. I am not so sure about visiting in the winter since the kitchen is outdoor.

My mom and friend stayed here for our family/friends reunion last year, and completely fell in love with it. So this year I had the opportunity to join them and they recommended staying here again. I absolutely loved the style, vibes, and welcomeness we received immediately upon arriving and throughout the entire weekend. Jane and Pat are so awesome, I loved getting to know them! Every morning there was coffee as well as fresh veggies and herbs we were more than welcome to use. The gardens, herbs all throughout the grounds, as well as the fire pits and outdoor kitchen, I loved it all! For dinner our first night, they had prepared a pizza dough for all of us and we just had to provide our toppings, which we prepared on our own before baking it in the brick oven. It was so neat! I'll definitely be back, hopefully sooner rather than later! :)

A friend found this location for a group outing. Located in Gore, OK, about an hour outside of Tulsa, they offer a "camping" experience for those who want to take a more casual approach. The 12 cabins all appear small on the outside, but are actually spacious inside. In ours we had a king sized bed, to chairs and a table, with enough room for the baby's pack and play and were still left with enough room for the little one to run around and entertain himself. They have a raised court yard with two fire pits and two outdoor kitchens, one with a smoker, the other with a charcoal grill and pizza oven. The owners are very friendly and accommodating, leaving keys in the cabins for those in our group arriving late. Activities available include walking on a small trail, browsing around the pond and kayaking when the weather is agreeable. They are also located about 5 minutes way from the dam. It worked out that the weather was great for a November outing. Cabins are have a large unit to handle heating and cooling, but if the weather was any colder, the trip wouldn't have been as enjoyable because the only method of preparing food is in the out door kitchen. Our time there was very relaxing and we plan on returning.

We had such a wonderful, relaxing weekend at Blue Doors! The owners Pat and Janie were so friendly and accommodating! The outdoor kitchen spaces are nice and they have a few things available for you to use. We used both the gas and charcoal grill. We spent our day exploring the property, walking on the trail, and hanging in the hammocks. We spent our evenings and nights around the campfire and met new friends! The rooms were large and comfortable. We look forward to coming back for a visit and for some of the activities they host!

This place isn't worth coming to under any circumstances. The check-in process for a day pass takes…read more20 minutes and they don't take cash. Everyone who works here is rude and unhelpful. I've personally seen the manager nut tf out on a dissatisfied customer. Do not come here. Try the Blue Doors motel instead. I'm giving one star because I can't give zero.

We planned our July 4th trip back in March with another family, just like we did last year. We…read morespecifically reserved RV sites next to each other so we could camp together. When we checked in, our sites had been changed. We were told they wouldn't move us back because one of the two reservations hadn't paid the $40 "lock-in" fee. I even offered to pay the fee at check-in so we could get our original sites back, but they refused. To make matters worse, the sites we originally reserved ended up sitting empty half our stay with no RVs in them. The front desk experience only made things worse. As we calmly expressed our disappointment and tried to explore whether there was any way to move us back to our reserved sites, the employee accused us of "raising heck." She then abruptly asked if we wanted a refund rather than trying to help resolve the situation. The interaction came across as rude and dismissive, and there was very little effort made to provide good customer service. I've been coming to Marval since I was a kid, and it's always been one of my favorite places to camp. That's what made this experience so disappointing. I'm not sure if there's new ownership or a change in management, but it feels like the focus has shifted toward nickel-and-diming customers instead of providing the great customer service Marval used to be known for. I hope this was just an isolated experience, but after reading other reviews it seems to be a constant problem.

First, I would like to say that every staff person we met at F&F was so nice and accommodating…read more Very responsive to all of our needs and did everything with a smile. We were in building 105 which had five bedrooms and four baths. We had about 14 people from several different families and this was a perfect setup for us. Very large common area with several tables and many chairs. Various sized bathrooms with a mix of tubs and walk-in showers. One room had a king size bed and the other four each had two double beds. It was right across from the pond and disc golf course which we liked. Just a short walk to the pool and Soda Steve's restaurant. The water was hot and showers had good pressure. A/C worked well. We liked the property's gift shop and little game room with the ping pong and foosball tables. Having said that, I'm not sure we would return in the future. As many have mentioned in the reviews the "resort" has not aged well. Our building was musty and outdated. Many things were bent or patched together. Some of the blinds did not shut, handles were loose, light bulbs needed replaced, light fixtures had a few bugs in them and the exterior was shabby and poorly managed. The cooking items in the kitchen were just a hodge podge of items. Many windows had film on them that obstructed the view. Three of the rooms had floor to ceiling wood paneling and were very outdated. You got the feeling the friendly staff cleaned as well as they could but were having a hard time keeping up with the older property. Building 105 is located right next to an abandoned looking private residence. For $1200 for two nights you really expect more. The skating rink was a concrete floor in a building that was not air- conditioned. The hot tub jets worked but the heater was broken. There was no internet or wi-fi. There was a TV but no cable and channels were very limited and this was pretty disappointing. We were disappointed as well that there were no queen beds but only double beds. The rooms certainly could have accommodated queen beds. We all agreed that the quality of the place was the level of a Motel 6 or less which is a shame since the property is really laid out well and has a lot of potential. Hopefully an investment in funds can someday bring this place back to what it used to be.

The lady on the phone talked to me while I was meandering around the area in my truck on a dark road. Thank goodness!! She was so accommodating! For example: the number of nights I wanted to stay. Minimum is two nights. I was allowed to stay one. After I was assigned to one cabin, she allowed me to stay in a different cabin. Pulling up to park at my assigned cabin my headlights showed 3 deer!! Another times, I saw them from the balcony, several more deer. In fact, they seemed within an arm's reach. The balcony was clean with a covered table, hot tub and a means to charcoal meats. The grill utensils hung along the guard rails. Once inside, it appeared very clean. Every possible amenity was available (except robes or q-tips). Fireplace, cut wood, lighter, microwave, fold out couch, mini fridge, window unit, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, table and 2 chairs, tv, wifi, ceiling fan, towels (request extra if using the hot tub), shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Of course, a large cozy bed! The hot tub is small. My best guess would be that they can accommodate 4 small bodies max. Great jets and very hot water! The showers are so clean and sparkly! The shampoo, conditioner and body soap hang on the wall. All have a very mild scent. It was a perfect get away for me.

This is a review of the spectacular Christmas light display, happening now until New Year's. I…read moreread about this event in the Tulsa World and since we were running over to Grand that same day and Pine Lodge is literally a mile away from our destination, we decided to check it out. We went right at dusk, but I think if it had been truly dark, we could have seen the resort from miles away. ALL. THE. LIGHTS. (And, other decorations.) We were surprised by the amount of holiday cheer that was put up. Lots of inflatables (some quite unique). If you're in the area, I would certainly check it out. There's a donation box at the end if you're impressed.
