Inside, the store was stocked with snacks, cold drinks in the coolers, roller hot dogs and a full coffee station with brew-to-order. The men's room was clean and I appreciate that they have the little button there to rate the cleanliness. Absolutely "green" today! Consequently, it is easy to find yourself low on fuel occasionally. It seems to me that during those moments there was typically a Love's around the corner. This Love's is right outside the town of McPherson . It is not the largest Love's I have been to and it is geared more for big rigs than passenger cars, UT they do have pumps for both. They also have a Hardee's attached to it, so if you want grab a burger, there is that! I just grabbed some snacks and a drink inside the convenience store section. The store was clean and the employees were down home and freidly people. I would not hesitate to stop here on future trips to Kansas.

The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5, is there isn't a good place to seat and eat & talk to other people. Just single seats with 4 tables. These are the stationary seats attached to the table. Since we were broke down close to my sister in laws house, she came to visit us. We were able to visit outside on the tailgate of her jeep. So that's the one thing pilot needs is more room for people to get out of their cars and relax for awhile or visit and meet up.

The staff is friendly and helpful (as I have always noticed at Love's truck stops) The Bad: The restrooms are not really big enough for a truck stop. Only 2 stalls in the men's room seems more like something you see at a small town gas station and not a truck stop. The Ugly Truth: This is another great facility with happy staff, lots of selections, and clean restrooms. Nice stop along the way down the long white line. I can't express how funny this is to me, and how it charmed to no end. Let me set the stage. I arrived here because my four year old really needed a toilet break on our drive to central Kansas and this was the next one on our route. When I checked in I was really surprised to see the great reviews, as in my experience, even the best of travel stops have really mixed reviews based on all kinds of experiences. That being said, we made a beeline for the restroom. Once inside I was surprised to find a really fancy bidet attached to the toilet, along with detailed instructions on how to use it pasted to the wall. My daughter was very confused but used the toilet anyways, despite it being set to a warmed seat setting (which also made me laugh) "why is it so hot?" was a question she asked me. At any rate, once she was done in the restroom we explored the rest of the travel center and it's pretty basic except for the fact that they also sell the bidets and have a display for them in the middle of the store, which also I found to be entertaining. Overall, would I return? Yes. It's a unique and clean stop in Kansas and honestly worth it if just for experiencing something different.
