Regarding Dunkin, Its actually horrible. Slowest service in the world. Employees are over worked. Management seems to be nowhere in sight. The shift lead was standing around while customers lined up at the register. Gnats were flying off the donuts. read more

Stopped in to get some gas and to review my GPS and road maps. Parked and started going through one by travel destination routes. The next thing I knew it was an hour later and I still wasn't finished going through the routes in the places I wanted to stop, but right behind my vehicle was a sign that said I could not stay any longer. I got nervous that they were going to tow my awesome van so I had it out before I was finished. I didn't even get gas because I was afraid I was there for an hour and 10 minutes instead of the hour that is allowed by the sign . I ended up just getting gas at the gas station across the street did not need my vehicle towed it owners expense specially, when I was in it would've been very inconvenient and expensive. read more

I don't usually review things like rest areas but sometimes you just gotta give props where props are due. I stopped at Love's Travel Stop last week while traveling from Buffalo to the little nutmeg state of Connecticut. This rest area sits right off the highway and offers both food from places like Dunkin' Donuts and Subway while also offering a bunch of snack and hot food options from the rest stop itself. This massive store has all the drinks, snacks, toiletries, movies, clothes, and weird statues that you could possibly want from a rest stop making this place the absolute best place to stop on the New York Throughway/Mass Pike for all of your needs. Overall, I enjoyed my quick stop at Love's Travel Stop and will absolutely be making this my go-to stop while traveling to any of the New England states. read more

I visited Love's by total accident (thanks GPS). We made the wrong turn and ended up at Love's...which worked out perfectly because we needed to fill up the tank and get drinks for our road trip. The gas was the lowest we saw during our way up. The staff were friendly and quick and the stop was well stocked. Everything was clean (we didn't use the restrooms so unsure about that). We were pretty happy with this wrong turn! They also have a dog area which is great for pet owners traveling with their four legged friend. read more

It's a very convenient location, but I have to downrate them from 4 to 3 because it has been over a year now since they have had Drake's Funny Bones. I check every time I stop here and have been hoping they would restock them, but I can wait no more. These historic confections are hit-and-miss at road-stop type places, since Hostess has reasserted hegemony in what is left of the snack cake niche, and I had said that it was because they carried them that they got a 4. Loves is one of the better truck/rest stops between Albany and Boston off 90 to stop at. It has the feel of a cross between a gas station and a gift shop at the airport. It contains a subway where you can eat fresh and brows the Internet using the guest WiFi at Dunkin' Donuts to undo whatever you had at Subway. There is also the usual mart fair from chips and soda to some form of meat rolling on hot metal cylinders. They even have a decent offering of travel useful electronics like chargers and cords as well as a auto parts store with odds and ends for some road triage on your vehicle and various curious from steam punk skulls and hats to bedazzled walking canes. The bathrooms could use a little more attention as each time I stop there they seem like they haven't been looked over by staff in a bit. All in all, I like Loves. I don't love loves, but I like it more than the other stops between upstate and Boston off 90. read more

Don't come here if you're a trucker and need something fixed in a timely manner. I came here at 6pm and was told to wait 3 hours to get a simple turn light fixed on my trailer. I waited and called for an update and was told to wait 3 more hours. They close at midnight and got told I'd have to wait until the following morning. In the morning I get no call and walk up to the shop and see someone in the bay getting worked on before me. I ask what's going on and as the mechanic follows me to my truck he tells me the manager skips people to get things done that he think are faster and more profitable. Never coming here again. Lost time and money all thanks to these morons. Someone needs to do a sweep and hire more competent workers in the shop. read more

This gas station/truck stop caters to truck drivers, but actively discourages car traffic. We stopped here during the night thinking we could get a couple hours of rest before continuing on our way, but the entire parking lot is plastered with "1 HOUR PARKING" signs. We got back on the highway and bought gas and a few snacks from a competitor, along with an hour of rest, and were on our way. If you're in a car, skip this location. read more
