This place is a good size, had ample amount of pumps, and clean inside. They had Denny's and Godfather's Pizza. They had sales going on for drinks and chips. They had only 2 restroom stalls for women, it was clean and pretty big. I'm just happy there wasn't a line. One of the workers was pressure washing, which made me feel like they actually cared about the place. It was pretty busy so the line for cashier was kind of long. Luckily, they had self checkouts. This helped out a lot. This location is the first one I had seen that has washers and dryers. Either that or never noticed it before, and we've gone cross country. read more

Well, it's a typical loves station and probably fine in most cases, but on the day that I stopped in, all their pumps stopped working after I had prepaid $200, and there was no way for me to cancel the transaction. They said things would be back online in 20 to 30 minutes. I waited 30 minutes, and the answer was again "back online in 20 to 30 minutes." So it was all BS with no real estimate of when service would be restored. They promised to cancel the transaction, but who knows what will actually happen. I'll be keeping an eye on things to make sure that that $200 charge doesn't go through. read more

The store itself was just fine. Very clean and well stocked. Employees were mediocre. The restrooms were clean and we used the shower facilities there. Given clean towels and the shampoo, conditioner and soap dispenser were filled. The shower pressure was pretty amazing better than mine at home. I rated it 5 stars for these reasons. We stayed overnight in the parking lot of Love's Travel Stop. By the time we pulled over to call it a night parking was limited. We were left with only a couple of spots to pick and neither were really what we wanted only because of the people parked there. They look like they were up to no good. We were towing our teardrop trailer with our bikes mounted on. We slept in our teardrop trailer, crossing our fingers that a bad situation wouldn't arise. There were plenty of other people around that if anything happened it would get the attention of a lot of people. So we know this out of the business control so I didn't dock any points. Every single time I come through this truckstop, there is an issue. Tonight's issue is the diesel pump for the cars and RVs is broken pump four The gentleman working the propane and the lot came up to find out what my issue was and I said this pump is broken and he says yes we know the pump is broken but sometimes it works for some people so we don't put a broken sign on it. I have watched two people come up to this pump after me and have to leave because it is broken This is the worst truckstop on five in this area read more

Don't pull up the auto pumps hoping to receive a receipt after filing your tank. They won't have it. Came through on New Year's Day, hauling a horse long distance, so the last thing I want is to waste time going out of my way to acquire a receipt. Not only did I have to go inside to ask for the receipt, but I had to wait in line. Totally thankless management. Keep the paper receipts loaded at the pumps! Note: the regular unleaded fuel here at Love's Corning was $0.14 cheaper than further south at Love's in Williams. However, that station didn't have any receipt paper, either. read more

Half of the pumps are "out of order" the other half only offer premium. (The button to select the lower grade options have all been torn off of multiple machines.) A sign out front stating that they don't offer the other options would have saved us the 10-15 mins we lost waiting for the person in front of us. I think in general it might be a good stop but they could do more to prevent some frustrations. read more

Very rude staff!! The cleaner demanded I left the restroom while I was still using the toilet, so they could clean, despite my business not being done. Was told that "toilets have to be cleaned on time for other guests....!!" When I went to complain to the on duty manager, a very heavyset man, he seemed unfazed by the rudeness of their staff, and he was equally rude telling me there were other toilets available. read more

Corporate NEEDS to seriously LOOK at the Corning CA Location! It looks like a total "DUMP" NOT... an actual business!!! Your Management is NOT doing their JOB!!! On the West side/ Denny's side, All the trees & grass are now DEAD!!!! (Pretty sure they shut off all the water!!) There's ALWAYS "TRASH" and debris everywhere in the parking lot!!! The lawn maintenance crew has been a JOKE & should have been fired years ago! I go there at least 2x's a week every week & have been for "years". I don't know why this place has such low ratings. Cleaner toilets have never been seen at a gas station stop. Considering the lot doubled as both an RV parking spot and a couple people living out of their car this place seemed orderly, clean and accessible to all. Bathrooms were so clean I was surprised and the food was pretty decent for gas station food. Being next door to a Dennys doesn't hurt either. Truck stops always seem depressing to me, and this one is no exception. I'm not sure why I'm drawn to them in the first place. This one wasn't much different from most Love's, a step below Pilot as far as I'm concerned. I really wish they had better fresh food options, it's all junk. After a long drive from AZ to this Loves # 292 for gas our battery on our RV died while in the gas lane, called AAA and that would have been a 45 min. wait when a wonderful employee named Jim noticed the hood popped up and quickly called Nick and had him pull the truck around to jump the battery, within minutes we were on the road to finish our trip home and NO charge!!! These 2 men need to be recognized for their excellent customer service!!! Rude employees, dirty rest rooms and several gas pumps would not take my debit card. When I went in and told an employee several pumps didn't work, she replied very rudely that all the pumps worked. While I was there I saw 3 other cars unable to get their cards to work I the same pumps I tried. I travel this route frequently and I will never stop here again. read more

If I could give negative stars I would...Jan 27th I purchased gas from them and almost immediately my car started to malfunction..engine light started flashing. I have never experienced anything like this ..long story short despite putting in gas treatment, calling the manager, calling corporate nothing has helped. Here I sit with a broken car that I have slaved to pay $22,000 for and no help at all. The only thing I keep hearing Im sorry this happened but...even my car insurance company doubts they wiill cover it and if they accept my claim I have to pay $500 to get my car fixed...Im in tears right now. Writing this at 3:45pm on 11/18/20 - This place is a bummer. Well, one employee is a bummer. On Friday October 30th I made a $100+ purchase of various car chargers that I needed for my journey (truck stuff is better). Upon purchase I was told that several of the items were refundable if they were the wrong size or didn't work out. I was also told that even if I didn't have the receipt but still had the packaging and the card they were purchased on I would be okay. During the course of my 22 day road trip I misplaced the receipt somewhere in my myriad of random shit I collected along the way in my trip. On my way home I stopped by the same Love's to return the cord that was formatted wrong for all my devices. I had the card it was purchased on, the packaging the cord came in and the exact date and time that I purchased the cord, I even was talking to gal that helped me on the 30th. The manager told me no way no how, if you don't have the receipt there is NOTHING we can help you with. She was very nice. I asked her if I could at least exchange it for something to eat? I explained I had $5 to my name and needed some food (the money ran out on my trip, I've been unemployed since the pandemic started). She looked at me and said, "so, that's not my problem". I am surprised the people here know how to speak. My daily experience is the toothless people whom loves hires, are one step above trying to bite their own ears. They cannot and refuse to keep any sort of decent coffee dispensers filled. If you ask about a certain type of coffee, you will be harassed by the person whom is incompetent of making coffee, EVERY time you come here. It's kinda funny, but kinda crazy how someone can remember your face for weeks but can't figure out how to work a coffee machine. I do not suggest going here, or the TA in Corning, they both hire people whom are incapable of aquiring people with a kindergarten education. read more
