We called their shop and were told they would fix a tire on our fifth-wheel. When we got there, they said they only work on semis. It wasn't safe for us to drive much further. So, we parked in the Love's truck lot and called a mobile tire company. As the mobile guy was finishing up, a Love's employee told him that he couldn't work on their lot. However, there are no prominent signs, if any, that say repair work can not be performed in the parking lot. read more

I am a OTR sprinter van driver. I stopped at Love's like I usually do in other states, but this was the first time I was told it was one hour parking for customers only. I am a customer, and I went to get a little sleep before daylight and this portly little guard came knocking on my window disturbing my peace. Understandably a lot of sprinter van drivers use loves also but because of this I took myself and my business to flying J right across the street. I generally patronize loves over pilot, ta, flying j, etc but going forward if I am unable to rest there like the tractor trailer drivers do without getting approached then I will leave loves alone all together. I had to make a quick stop at this Love's Travel Stop, El Paso, TX, for a pee-pee break. Restroom was very clean... thank you! I was still good on gas so I didn't get any at the time. On my way out of any Love's or Pilot Travel Stop, I normally like to check out their stuff animals aisle for any potential squishmallows or other brands to come home with me LOL... they're not for me, but for my daughters. I've been using the love tire shop for years. It's extremely convenient for me being that I live in El Paso. Been able to get my tires repairs and PMs done on my home time. I went in about a week or so ago and found out they are putting in a truck wash. I honestly think that's great. But I didn't like how the snotty girl at the counter spoke to me like I was an idiot when I asked about getting a PM. I pulled up to the door that says lube 1. I understand that they are no longer doing PM. But I don't appreciate being spoken to like that. Her attitude could have been a lot nicer when telling me to go to location across the street. She made me feel like I was a burden and bothering her. I must have been just giving her a confused look because this big guy who looks like a cholo came up and gave me direction. I knew where to go but I told him thank you anyway. I will not be going back to that location because this isn't the first time dealing with her and being treated this way. My husband is a tenured truck driver and seldom gets home time so when he is here we try to get all maintenance needs done for his truck. We frequent the Loves shop and it's been many occasion that a particular woman has been quite vile. She is ill-mannered, bad tempered, combative and just down right despicable. My husband was literally walking in, and greeted her as she was the only one there at the counter. She didn't respond, she just stared at him blankly and asked "what do you need?" Not "how may I help you? What services would you be needing?" Nothing of the sort. Plainly rudely, "what do you need?" When he was explaining what he needed she cut him off and became combative and tried to argue with my husband. I told him that we're going to leave and go somewhere else because he isn't going to be mistreated. Her name is Cassandra and I didn't appreciate her tone, her body language, nor her blatant disregard for any proper customer service skills. My husband is a very polite gentleman so for someone to act so abhorrent upon entry is very telling of them and the establishment. I'm greatly disappointed because we loved going to the Loves shop for all his maintenance needs and saw they were building a truck wash, which would have truly been a one stop shop for us, but because of Cassandra; I can say with 100% certainly that we will not be going back. She is going to cost Loves a lot of business lost as well as get herself into an altercation with the wrong professional driver should she continue to act so loathsome. read more

The air conditioner in the driver' area of my RV motor coach does not cool. Yesterday I called this Love's Service center and described the problem to them. They said to call at 8 AM this morning. I did. They said to come right over as they have a first come first serve policy. After waiting from about 8:15 to around 3 PM I was able to pull my rig into their service bay. It was then the service tech, who was also the man answering the phone, told me they do not work on RVs. And he just was letting me wait on the outside chance he could do something simple for us. The only reason for two out of five stars, is they were very polite and had an air-conditioned waiting room with TV and NFL football on it. Beware! read more

This place has a weigh station for military ppl needing it. It's super easy and quick and painless. The attendants were polite too!

Jason came to help me when the shop was closing. Had a repair in Van Horn, TX and the brakes weren't adjusted right so I had two tire blow outs and brake chamber line busted cause of it and he assessed the situation and fixed all our problems and made sure that the warranty was in place fast and very professional. I have had a lot of exposure to truck stops in my past, and this is a pretty nice one for its size. This is not a large store by no means, but it is definitely large enough to get the job done. For the drivers, this store has your basic amenities. Showers, food, etc.... It has the things one would expect. The truck parking is limited, this Loves has the smallest lot of the 3 big chain stops in the immediate area. Fuel prices are comparable, and they also their own rewards program. Diesel prices here are comparable to the other options in the area. There is also two restaurants inside, Subway and Chester's Chicken. There isn't anything special about about Subway, it is your typical chain joint. However, Chester's is REALLY good. Their chicken strip are delicious, especially when paired with their own honey mustard. If you are looking to purchase regular gasoline for your car, the only real benefit of coming here is that the fuel lanes aren't as crowded as the Flying J or Petro. Fuel prices are comparable, nothing special. read more

This loves the location is great. Very friendly people working there, clean restrooms and showers. As a truck driver I can say that loves is the best. They treat their frequent fuelers better than any other major truck stop. I fuel almost exclusively at loves locations in my 7 state regional delivery area. i've never had an issue with any of the Loves locations. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that none of them seem to have enough showers to accommodate very many drivers, thus there is usually a pretty good wait to get one. read more

So this review is for the disgusting chesters fried chicken in the Love's Travel center. Extremely gross. They were out of all sides except old mashed potatoes & no gravy and slimy old green beans with a mystery meat item in it. I took them back. So we opted for potatoe wedges which they said they were put of when we initially ordered & wound up with 8 pieces of chicken fried in old oil and 5 lbs of potatoe wedges also fried in the same old oil. Yuck. Oh and there was 1 bottle of hot sauce out with no lid and all crusty. If i could give this shithole a -0, i would. They should be ashamed of themselves.... read more

Came here late at night to fuel up my VW TDI. The staff was friendly, the filling areas were reasonably clean for being a truck stop, and their diesel wasn't grossly overpriced. Inside was clean, although the checkout stand was a little cluttered. read more

Had to get some gas as me and my dad were heading out to CA. Plenty of pumps available but the place is small with other gifts such as a Nascar jersey, caps, automobile things, snacks, cowboy hats, DVDs and drinks for the road. Not exactly Buc'ees.
