Road trips have enough surprises, I don't need my bathroom stop to be one of them. That's why whenever I see Love's travel stops, I'm pulling in. I couldn't even tell you whether the gas is the cheapest because that's honestly not always why I stop. I know they're going to be open, I know the employees are going to be friendly, and I know, without fail, the bathrooms are going to be clean. Not "pretty clean." Not "clean for a truck stop." The cleanest bathrooms of any travel stop, period. On this particular visit, the gas pumps were closed for construction, so if you're planning to fuel up, just be aware of that. I wasn't there for gas anyway, I stopped to use the restroom and was going to grab something afterward, only to realize I'd left my money behind. The gentleman working didn't make it awkward for even a second. He simply smiled, wished me safe travels, and told me to have a good evening. That's exactly why I keep choosing Love's. In this town, this truck stop is heavenly. It's got everything you need, plus it is next to taco bell, carl's jr & McDonalds. It's got neat little souvenirs that you could get lost looking at. Sadly, most of them are "AZ" and not specifically Gila Bend related. No biggie, tho. I walked away with a diet soda, a blueberry parfait and some scratchy lotto tickets. read more

Kudos to whoever the manager there is. Hiried competent people, didn't get the name of one Vicki I think something with a V, was hoping to double check today but didn't get to see her and Melissa. Both super helpful. I come through at least once a week. They are always there first thing. This week I watched Melissa literally run to help an elderly couple in front of me with their wrong lids. She seems to always be moving in high gear but always stops to help, answer questions or anything asked of her. In Arizona there are 2 places that I rely on when traveling and need to use the restroom, QT and Loves travel stops 9/10 they are freshly cleaned, well lit and safe for the family to use. Since I travel with a teenage daughter quite often, these are important features. I want her to always feel safe, have a clean environment and plenty of options snack wise, both healthy and not so healthy. 3.5/5stars We have stopped at Love's Travel Centers before and have always thought they were good. This Love's was clean enough but didn't have much inventory and the prices were high. It's funny how the reviews differ based on what the different needs of the reviews. There wasn't much room to turn if you are an RV. There was plenty of parking for trucks in the back and side and even a couple of lanes for RVs right next to the fuel pumps. They did have a Taco Bell restaurant in the center which gave more options for food. The restaurant was extremely clean. Overall, though, I would chose to stop somewhere else if I had the choice. read more

The ad at the gas pump showed buy one 24 oz water for $1.59 and the 2nd bottle was free. When we went to pay the cashier he said it was an additional $1. I told him about the pump ad and even showed him a picture I had taken of it. He just stood there staring at us. My wife said go show him. So we went to the cooler and it's $1.59. He said that is the correct price not the one at the pump. We went back to the cashier station. I said how do you know the pump is correct in the cooler is wrong. He just "I have been charging people the extra dollar all day and that's it." We were extremely frustrated as we usually love coming to a Love's. We took the water back and bought a smaller bottle bottle was $1.29. This was a lot of BS! Whatever happened to customer service and the customer is always right? Popped in last night around midnight to grab a cold beverage from soda machine and a couple of gas station hot dogs for the ride back to Ajo after a night of dirt track racing in Casa Grande. Store was pretty clean and the hot dogs were decent. It's nice having someplace safe and reliable open 24hrs just off the freeway at night. Employee was helpful and nice. 9/12/22: Stopped at several Love's en route from CA to TX. They're all pretty safe, clean and serves its purpose of stopping for gas, snacks, a bathroom break, and even if you need to take a shower. Definitely a better option than going to a rest stop or a stand alone gas station. If I'm ever on another road trip, I wouldn't hesitate to go here. read more

Great place to stop for almost anything you might need during a trip. The bathrooms are always clean although usually busy. They have a Taco Bell adjacent so you have more than just convenience food to choose from. Overall, I enjoy stopping here rather than other locations on my way to Arizona. read more

Truck stop/gas stop! Great place for you to stop as a trucker or a road tripper. They have everything needed inside from windshield wiper fluid to a place to take a shower. They have all kinds of nic nacks just in case you are a souvenir type of person. The restrooms...well I'll speak for the ladies room...was decent but you can tell it gets used. But hey....we aren't at home where you know who's in your restroom so it's expected to smell a bit. The toilet paper was stock which is important so that's what I cared about. There are several places to eat either their food which consist of standard gas station food or there is a Taco Bell attached. If neither of those choices rock your boat, they do have a Carl's Jr. next door and a McDonald's. The Carl's Jr. is a great place for Tesla users...they have the super chargers right over there...Super cool I shall state! The parking is pretty decent at this stop as well. There was plenty of room to park and hang out if needed. If you have dogs I forgot to look if they had a designated area but if you have dogs like mine they know how to handle business. Loves is my favorite place to stop. Usually quite clean and easy to get in and out. The Only thing I would love to see is the crushed ice or pebble ice. Prices are pretty comparable for other places. And people are usually pretty nice. read more

This is a small Love's and we find that it's crowded most times that we've been over the years. Both the women's and men's bathrooms are tight quarters, with high usage. This trip they smelled from outside the bathroom. The husband reports that the men's bathroom smelled like warm urine. Compared to other Love's the women's bathroom also smelled and was not up to par. BUT this spot still deserves 3-1/2 stars compared to other nearby Gila Bend gas stations we've been to with one disgusting unisex cesspool (where I literally opted to pee in a nearby bush after trying to use their restroom, no joke). Convenience store options at this spot are similar to most Love's and well stocked. A plus is that there's a full sit down Taco Bell with free wifi. Kids traveling with other families seemed to be enjoying the toy section as well! read more

Stopped here on our way to Yuma. The gas was priced outrageous so I decided to only pump 25 bucks. The gas station put a hold for 175 on my card and ruined my whole trip. My car or any other couldn't possible pump 175 worth of gas. Then they try to blame my card company. Fuck this place! I wouldn't pump here if it was the last gas station for 1,000 miles. 10:30p with a 4.5 hour drive ahead of me and the chick working feels it's more important to refill mayo packs instead of help me at the register. She goes I'll be right there reaches down and grabs another handful and continues refilling more. Mind you there is one other weapon in the station and they are not even getting food. I want to give a shout out to an associate named Kat who went above and beyond when it came to helping my son and my friend take care of my elderly mother who was just released from the hospital. She helped escort my son and his Grandmother into the bathroom and waited outside the stall until she was done and even got my Mother a chair when she needed a break walking from the bathroom and thought she was going to fall.
