This place looks fresh and new. This location had an Arby's, showers, and dining area. It's my first time seeing a dining area at Love's that's pretty big as well. The restrooms were clean, and the store itself was sparkling. This place has an RV hookup as well. We had stopped here to take a break and snooze for a little bit. On this road trip, we had driven 17 hours already for the day. Needed to get a little bit of shut eye, especially since there was hardly anyone on the road driving. It's definitely hard to see when you're the only one driving. This place had a lot of people camping or just taking a break. The area itself felt pretty safe. After 4 hours, we continued our journey. People who work here are pretty nice. read more

If you are traveling thru this part of the country, your options are very limited and you must stop here. Last station before Richfield to gas up or to stretch out before heading to Moab or Capital Reef area. During my trip right after the Putin fiasco, filled up at the Costco super unleaded for $4.30 and by the time I got here, I was looking at close to $5. After getting the gas, make sure to relieve yourself at their huge well thought out restrooms but just watch out for people trying to take a bath at the hand sink. Lot of food options, huge reasonably priced fast food items and also the many selection of hot dog variety. Depending on which side you are on, you can also enjoy the fine offering of delicate fake beef at Arby's or Subway that's present in every small town in Utah. We stopped here while road tripping back from Colorado. Driving through Utah was pretty desolate. A lot of empty roads and flatness for miles. We stopped at lots of gas stations that looked run down and not well maintained. Love's Travel Shop was one of the better places that we ended up at for a pit stop. The restrooms were cleaner than the others and they had food and beverages. Although we weren't brave enough to try the food lol it was nice to know that there is an option incase you are starving. You can fuel up gas and fuel up your body too lol This is a safe place to stop if you are just passing through on a road trip. Still gave me deliverance vibes but whatever (shrugs). If you find yourself on a 14+ road trip to deliver your sibling back to CO from LA with a parental in tow and have been crammed in the back seat finding yourself hungry for dinner after 10p and needing to use the bathroom, Love's is where it's at. Hit up the Arby's for a 5 piece chicken tendies and clean restrooms. I never knew you could take a shower at a gas station but you can do that too! While I was waiting for my chicken tenders they were calling out rezzies for showers. So, if you're craving fast food, a clean restroom and a shower this is a one stop shop. read more

There are two Loves gas stations here, one right across the street from the other. Why? Oh dear, I'm not here to question the philosophy of corporate real estate, I only mention this so you know for sure that this is the one I visited, on the northwest side of the road; on the left if you're exiting off of I-70. This is the bigger and more hoppin' stop, for sure. The convenience store here is much larger, there are more pumps, and there's a lot of accommodation made for truckers. I was just here to buy gasoline and to use the restroom, and I accomplished both in short order. I should note that if you want to walk your pup, there are probably better options around and there's no grass to be found, even though I think I do recall a dedicated area for pets. You should get gas in Green River. This is as good as place as any, but I-70 is notoriously desolate across this part of the state, and you're looking at 110 miles of empty (no services, though certainly some turnoffs to services in other towns) to the west, and about a hundred miles to the east. If you need a quick roadside pit stop, this is probably the quickest as it's just off the freeway, and the gas stations on the next exit are all farther towards town. read more

My husband and I drove were driving back to Omaha from California and we stopped at Love's for a quick pit shop. We stopped here because the gas station looked big and there were restaurants on it and also they might have nice bathrooms. As I walked in I was amazed how big the travel store was. They had laundry and shower which I'd never seen before, they had an Arby's (I believe), enough seating area to enjoy a meal, and the bathrooms were clean. You can also buy souvenir from Utah like shot cups, magnets, and other fun things to bring home. I'm a sucker for postcards but decided to go with a magnet instead, can't have enough of those. Solid travel stop, considering that it's in the middle of nowhere. Love's owns two separate buildings with a Subway and Arby's attached so it's quite a large complex. Restrooms got the job done, and the store is convenient and decent. Nothing special except a LOT of room so great for trailers and larger vehicles/groups. read more
