Guys, this is my favorite gas station coming and going to and from Utah to Colorado. After road tripping for 16 hours tops, this place has everything you'll need for another 90 miles. This location also has cute magnets and touristy friendly souvenirs for us peeps passing through. Some of my old photos show them and I love buying a new souvenir every year I gas up here.

I bought a small burrito that I microwaved there; they had a full sink/kitchen area where the microwave was so I washed up there too. And they have the biggest array of coffee creamer flavors I think I've ever seen right at the coffee/tea station. I bought a large cup of hot water for like $0.60 and had a huge earl grey tea with some sweet creamer in it so it was just like a flavored london fog. Honestly it was up there with Starbucks drinks I've had, I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff at the register were also quite nice, and plenty of parking available. Not to mention, I saw the loveliest rainbow out the back door (the staff pointed it out) since it was the night after a big storm!

They generally have lower gas prices at Maverick than other location and have a rewards program you can opt into that saves a cent or two per gallon on your fills. Something to note is that when I went to this location, there was some kind of glitch on one of the pumps (I think it was pump number 10, but can't remember exactly at this point). Basically after I scanned my credit card and entered my phone number the pump froze and wouldn't let me get to the point of selecting a fuel type/pumping the gas. I waited for about 5 minutes (which feels like an eternity when you're just standing at the pump) because I was nervous about walking away after putting in my credit card. I ended up running inside to tell the worker and he said that he wasn't sure why it glitched but that it wouldn't charge me for anything and eventually the pump would cancel the transaction and go back to the main screen. He told me to just try another pump which I did, and didn't have any issue. I monitored my card charges like a hawk for a few weeks but never saw anything aberrant show up, so everything was fine. Other than this issue with the pump freezing, I had no issues getting gas at this station. It was a little busy/crowded but not so much so that no pumps were available.

The crew was exceedingly friendly and even let us bring our dog into the waiting area to get him out of the heat.
