I am a loyal Love's customer that will search out the next Love's and bypass similar businesses. It takes a lot to get me to leave a bad review on any business, but it is truly embarrassing to the company that this place carries their name. I turned around, walked out and went to the TA Travel Center next door. Even paid more for gas there. read more

This is the worst Love's I've been to. This is Love's store #307 located just off I-75 exit 201 (SR 36 - Jackson, Barnesville) in Jackson, Georgia, about a 45-minute drive south of Atlanta. This Love's isn't up to the company standard. I suspect it might be getting too old and/or customer traffic in the area has outgrown it. The property could use a serious renovation. Below are some things that could use improving: 1. Access/entry. Coming from the interstate, if you take the first turn you see for Love's - the windy road is named "His Wy" on Google Maps - then you're already off to a bad start. You'll be led one way *away* from the station. 2. Exit. If you're filling up and the station is busy, like it was when I visited (packed), then the only way out is to squeeze between cars at the pumps. There's no other space or driveway around the pumps. I think the lot is too small to safely and comfortably handle peak demand. 3. Overall cleanliness and condition of facilities. Inside and out, this Love's was well-worn all over and neglected in certain spots. My pump screen was scratched. The pump had been "vandalized" with stickers. The machine was out of receipt paper. The men's restroom was dirty. The sink faucets either didn't work or sprayed water out wrong. 4. Size and staffing. During my visit, both the convenience store and the gas station seemed too physically small to handle the crowd at the time. The station had only eight pumps. The store also seemed understaffed. It was a zoo. I didn't feel clean or comfortable. I wanted to GTFO. 5. Signage. There should be street signage, both on 36 (Barnesville-Jackson Rd) and on Truck Stop Way when exiting the property that tells you where to turn for Love's and the best way to get back onto 36 and I-75, respectively. Otherwise, you might be doing a couple U-turns in this small truck stop "village" that also contains a TA Travel Center (TravelCenters of America) and a Pilot Travel Center. I don't like writing one-star reviews, but can only give this place one star. On Yelp, that means, "Not good." read more

Ok we're do I begin. We're on an 8 hours road trip, and we all needed to pee and get some stuff to eat. I walk in no joke the worse smelling Loves I've ever been to. Had to hold my breath while looking at the food options which there weren't a lot of. Now I go to the bathroom. It Smells bad, looks horrible. Pee on the floor toilet paper everywhere. We stopped here for a bathroom break/snack break on our way back home from savannah. The place was PACKED, and honestly it was kind difficult to figure out how to access this place from main road. The store wasn't super clean. I didn't use the restroom, so I can't comment on that, but if the rest of the store was any indication, I would not be surprised if they were in the same condition. The worst Love's stop you'll find. Kay Moore the "operations manager" needs a vacation or for someone to teach her to treat people nice. Their power went out and instead of nicely addressing us that registers are down she screams from Across the store that "mam you can't purchase the water, put it back". Well, we waited and paid . We stopped in for a quick Mickey D's and bathroom break. Their restrooms were filthy, literally each stall and toilet couldn't be used. Customers were consistently coming in and out of the store and Mcdonalds and the employees seemed a bit stagnate. So much standing around when so many things needed to be done. read more

So on my way to Florida, made this put stop at iHop in Jackson, GA at the travel Lodge and I swear there is just nothing like southern hospitality. These folk are so kind and so inviting. They act as though they love their jobs whether they do or not you will never know it. Quite unlike the workers in the Midwest who have a tendency to act as though you made them get up and come to serve you your breakfast. This location is joined to a McDonald's, but the majority of the building area is definitely reserved for the Love's footprint. This location does have the showers for the road-weary travelers. It was ok on the inside, but definitely could have used a good deep cleaning. The restrooms were clean, but the faucets were jets and shot water all over me. The employees were friendly. They had a lot of drink and snack offerings, including a hot bar. read more

I usually don't review gas stations but this place was the worst gas station experience I've ever had. It's so poorly designed that my family almost had multiple wrecks just trying to get in/out. If all pumps are taken, you only have one small area one-way that they expect people to get in/out of. The coffee didn't even have creamers and it was just an unpleasant experience overall. The only thing it had going for it was the bathrooms were decent (it was nothing like your average Love's but it was at least better than nothing.) We stopped here on the way down to Florida and it was the nastiest gas station I have ever been to. The bathrooms were so nasty, not stocked, dirty, flies everywhere! I have to say this pit stop for us on our road trip was nice, gas was cheap, inside the loves store they had a little bit of everything for us to grab for the road. Bathrooms were clean, staff was nice and it actually has a McDonald's that connects from the inside of the store. Pretty cool ;) read more

DON'T BUY ELECTRONICS WITH YOUR POINTS OR MONEY! You won't get a refund. I quit trucking on Oct 14. It's Nov 9th and I've bee serching for a 400W inverter for a minute now at various locations. Before I quit I wanted to use my points but couldn't decide what to spend them on that would be of use to me everyday or most times. The Durcell generator was more points than I had so At the time I thought a plug in cooler was a great idea because I do a lot of hunting and camping so I bought it. It was $149.99, I had approx 12,900 points (= $129) so I ended up paying about $25 out of pocket. I also didn't know if any of the plug in inverters would be enough for my laptop or many electronics but after using a friend's, I saw that it would have been the better investment I went back to try and exchange the cooler for 2 or the 400W ($55) inverters but every Loves around was out. I asked if I could just get a refund in points until the get some in but they said ONLY SAME DAY EXCHANGES. Now when I bought the thing it was different story and the lady said the points will go back on the card. NO THEY WON'T AND THEY EXPIRE. I asked if I could at least buy something until they get some in to extend out my exchange (so if today is the 9th and I get and exchange I can now have until the 9th to exchange those) NOPE. I called CS and they had me on the phone for an hour to basically tell me the same thing I asked. In short there is nothing they can do. No solutions. I'm better off selling this on FB marketplace and buying the items else where. read more

I was traveling with a professional truck driver in another vehicle on the way back from a weekend. They are very particular about which truck stops they frequent and I understand why. The cashier was outstanding. I wish I had gotten her name but she's a young white with dark hair that smokes Virginia Slims Menthols. She's so outstanding she has earned my loyalty as well. Filthy bathrooms. The signs direct you to drive in circles to parking lot and very little parking available. Pilot is the better option.

People parked everywhere noone trying to control the lot no signs or directions spamming channel 19 with tint and chrome adds so drivers can't communicate will not recommend to anyone. read more

I usually pick a love's truck stop when I'm traveling because of they're usually large with a good selection and clean. But this one was none of those. My son was actually scared to use the rest room because of how filthy it looked. read more
