So on our road trip home, Z and Z obviously spends their advertising and we were lured by their billboards along the way. With their location just off of the interstate, it was a good bet if we were getting some liquor on our way home. The place is pretty big and is wall to wall adult beverages. They had a really good selection. Similar to what I see at the state store here... but with a whole lot better prices. The staff was friendly and they even have a drive thru. Not a place I would go out of my way for. But if it is in your path, I recommend a stop in.

Maybe they've had issues with theft or robberies, but whatever the reason, I walked away feeling like I was racially profiled the moment I came inside. I usually use the drive-thru, but I went inside because I wanted to browse a new alcohol selection without holding up the line. Apparently that was a mistake. I've been shopping here since 2017 and never expected to be treated with suspicion and disrespect. After years of loyal business, this is how customers are treated? Absolutely unacceptable. Respect is free, and once it's gone, so is my business. I'll gladly take my money to the liquor on hwy 42, where I'm hopeful I'll be treated like a paying customer instead of a suspect. I DON'T TOLERATE DISRESPECT, AND I WON'T SUPPORT A BUSINESS THAT MAKES ME FEEL UNWELCOME.

Their fried chicken and baked chicken are also outstanding! Freshway's meats are super and they have a butcher on staff who cuts to order. Their fruit and produce sections are not large, but plentiful enough and they typically source many of the in season items locally (middle Georgia). This is my go-to store and I highly recommend. Their staff are also friendly and helpful.

After having to drive all the way to Conyers (67 miles), to get to a branch of my bank :-o , on the…read moreway back I decided to fill up (1st fill up since March :-o ). And, this was the only Top Tier (Chevron) on the same side of the street that I saw (turns out there was also a Shell station; but the way it's laid out, it's difficult to see from the other direction). Now, I paid at the pump, so I wouldn't have to go inside. But, when I went to get a receipt, the pump was out. So, I had to go inside. Luckily, the place wasn't crowded. So, I was able to get my receipt quickly. I was pleasantly surprised at the friendliness if the cashier, since I didn't have anything else. But, I was surprised to see the cashier not wearing a face mask. The store is clean, and we'll stocked (didn't check paper products). Though, there was some construction, as it looked like someone decided to add a Drive-thru. :-o
