Nicole J., the clerk, greeted me with a friendly hello. (We're not familiar with such courtesy in Cincinnati Speedways.) As I filled my cup, I listened to her chatting with the regulars, asking about their kids and how their weekend went. I approached the register and she exchanged the same pleasantries with me.
