The owner is involved daily and always approachable. It is obvious that she cares about the children in her care. The teachers reflect that same caring. I always felt like I was leaving my kids with family. Bright Beginnings is a family run business with the owners husband and children involved in everything from lawn care to changing diapers. Wouldn't take my kids anywhere else!

It's $160 a week for infants and toddlers. Don't agree with price, but a lot of other centers charging the same price. Just make sure the employees get a raise , hopefully those teachers and assistant teachers getting paid at least $10 an hrs. But in my opinion all daycare centers in Houston County should be paying all staff at least $10 an hr​

They've been part of my daughters' lives through so many stages, growing and adapting right alongside them in a way that really feels like family. As a full-time working mom, it's never easy leaving your kids in someone else's care, but this place made that decision so much easier. They genuinely see each child as an individual and nurture them for who they are. My girls were always loved, accepted, and encouraged to grow into their best selves. Even after moving nearly 30 minutes away, I chose to keep my girls here because the experience meant that much to me. Their care, dedication, and consistency gave me real peace of mind while I was at work--something that's truly priceless. I have nothing but great things to say, and I will deeply miss this place. I wanted him to go learn to be without me for when he transitioned to kindergarten. Ms. Kathryn and Mrs. Connie were caring and understanding with my son through his emotional and medical needs. They showed him grace and structure. They didn't charge like crazy either! Prices are very reasonable!! Overall our experience with this school was a huge success! My children have been there since birth and I have volunteered many times throughout the years. The staff (except the previous comment maker) have always gone above and beyond an treat everyone like family. The students really do come first. I'm not sure if i should be rating the home itself, but i'm rating the mtn bike trails here…read more for a long time biker, this is a pretty good trail. it's a little confusing for the first time as there are numbers all over the place and they don't go in order. and there are several bypass trails that shortcut several times. but it is fast singletrack, and since my odometer has been broken for several months now (too lazy to repair it), i'm not sure how long it is, but i've read it's about 5-6 miles and it takes me anywhere from 30-45 minutes to complete. the local cross country team runs there, so if there's a meet there, you won't be able to ride. but it's nice and shady, paralleling a stream at some point, through pines and forest, and it's just a really good trail for a quick ride after work. if you are a trail runner, beware of poison ivy as it is rampant.

This group struggled in the past, but they have a new member on board who runs multiple programs…read morearound the state with great success. The housing is being worked on, and they have started planning renovations to additional buildings that were not up to code for a long time. There is a very bright future for these young adults. There is talk of a transitional housing program for the young women who leave the grounds when they reach a certain age, so that they have a better rate of successfully transitioning to independent living. There was also an addition of a part time teacher on site to help get the students back on track, as some have trouble in the Bibb County School System (not surprising). I am very excited about the new ideas and hope that Macon will re-discover this program with positive, productive, and respectful opinions.
