This place should be called Loving Obitchuaries because the woman who runs it is nasty. Her facility is sooo full of gnats it's so gross flying all over the place. She was literally smashing them with her hand on her desk as I sat there with my son explaining how I wanted the obituaries to be. I can even get over the nasty gnats flying everywhere how very gross but I can't get her lack of compassion her disrespectful demeanor and rude attitude . My mother just died and that lady could careless about your loss . the deposit was 200 and after that her rude behavior started after I message her to ask about obituaries she clearly had a attitude. now I have never had obituaries made before so I just needed to know the process and I was told by her I would get a email to look over and approve obituary but I didnt get one. So I messaged her saying I never got a email to approve the look of obituaries and I had paid a extra 75 to get obituaries in 24 hours instead of 48hours she called me letting me know to check junk mail and basically don't text her that she did not open til 10am and let's get this over with so she could be done with me and my obituaries and if I basically keep texting her she will refund my deposit now i would of took the deposit and ran but my mother funeral was two days away. so I played it cool . But gross Behaviour. If u can stomach the nasty facility and nasty behavior of the owner be my guest but I will never Ever Ever go back to or recommend this place to no one . Thee worst ! On top of they messed up obituary. With no remorse . Gross facility gross Behaviour. When I went to pick up the obituaries she was rude with a ton of extra obituaries of my mother sitting there that she wanted me to see and she let me know she was keeping them .... Like I said no compassion nasty lady don't waste your time. I just picked up obituaries and left with my son knowing lesson learned NEVER AGAIN . I let my son know I would be posting a review and he let me know don't forget to tell about all the nasty bugs mom. My son is 8. For everyone burying someone god bless don't use this facility for your own sanity no one needs another headache when burying a love one. read more

We had such a mixed experience, so I am going to offer the pros and cons to be fair. I admit that this was a highly emotional time for our family, but the last thing I needed to be concerned about was the program for the memorial service. My experience: Pros: 1. User friendly website with prompts to guide the customer. 2. Straight forward fair pricing. No hidden fees. 3. Pleasant staff. Curt was nice and gave his best. 4. Able to scan photos onsite. 5. Convenient location. 6. I like supporting small businesses in Detroit. 7. Very pleased with final program. It was beautiful. Cons: 1. It took over 6 days to receive a first draft. It was promised in 2 days. 2. Delivery date for draft and final product was pushed back 5-6 times. Too many delays and only added frustrations. 3. Never allowed to speak with graphic designer to fully express ideas. 4. Received programs at the last minute and on a day the office was officially closed. We appreciated the extra effort but the anxiety added so much frustration and stress. 5. Felt rushed and dismissed at times. read more

I suddenly lost my Mother on Father's Day of this year and I was absolutely devastated. I could barely plan anything because I was just so sad. I was referred to Somalia of, Loving Digitals through a best friend who had used the service for her grandmother. Although she was located in Michigan and I was in Atlanta I heard she was amazing so I reached out. I told her the situation and asked if she was able to do a rush service because the home-going was actually in Chicago. The level of professionalism and customer service was amazing. I could tell she cared about what she does for the family who have lost loved ones. Placing the order online was very user friendly and I was able to submit so much information and pictures. I had no clue how it would all turn out I just gave her the details I needed included and let the creativity up to her given my emotional state. She sent over the proof for me to review before it was printed and there were only a few small changes I needed to make. Within minutes she had sent over another proof with all the changes updated. I was like wow, she is on top of things. She rush delivered the package to me and when it arrived I cried, I was expecting a simply paper low quality program even though I heard she was good my expectation was that of other funerals I had been to. But, when I tell you my Mother's programs looked like the first lady had passed. I was literally blown away and I cried and cried. It turned out so beautiful and she included her picture in the background along with her favorite color, my Mother looked like an angel. it was so sentimental and the quality is a forever keepsake. I honestly didn't want to give any of them away they were so nice. The service was amazing, the price was unbelievable (may have been because I was referred) but the creativity and attention to detail was impeccable. I am hoping I don't have to experience any more loss anytime soon but in the event that I ever do, she will be the first and only person I contact. Thank you so much Somalia.
