It's not even close to the Loving Huts I've eaten at in the U.S., but it's vegan, so I was happy. Also, the ambience was fantastic.

Service is a bit more of a hit or miss. On the first visit, we had an excellent server and she was very on point. Immediate menus, very easy to work with. Followed up to see how we were doing. Takeout visit: not so good. Young man is covering a lot of table by himself. All over the place. I told him I needed a minute to look at the menu. When I then was done, he looked at me standing there, looking at him, and then immediately helped the people who are German speaking, who had walked in behind me by quite a bit. I was not amused by that. That was very unprofessional. He could've at least asked if I was ready yet? The food will be excellent. Just remember that service, like in a lot of places in Vienna, is slow and awkward. Definitely a place to stop though if you want Asian food.

It was only a block away from our pension when we stayed in Vienna. It was located between our pension and the nearest subway station (Sieglergassse Station on Orange Line), so we passed by it every time we took subway to travel around Vienna (which we did a lot). At first it was just mere convenience, but since we really enjoyed their food, we went back for the second time. Food tasted very good--every dish we ordered (photos). Very good service by very nice/friendly staff. There is a curbside and pedestrian walk dining area, but interior was nicely decorated (photo). I thought dishes were reasonably priced especially for Vienna. When we returned for the second time, the owner recognized us and treated us to his special Vietnamese (I didn't even think they grew coffee in Vietnam??) cold brew after our meal. That was super nice of him. We found out from him that there are now three locations of tatas in Vienna, so he's doing really well in his business. This was the original one we ate at. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

The only staff was amazing. She explained all the weird (in a good way) flavours and also provided us an opportunity to taste a few flavours. I"ll be Back - don't know if this is Arnold's favourite but it is definitely ours. The Apple sauce, puff pastry pieces provided a crunch. The creamy ice cream. Incredible. We are Unstoppable - coconut ice cream with spirulina and again absolutely perfect. The blue colour was pleasing to the eye. Junger Stierer - again just a mind blowing flavour. Vanilla ice cream with pumpkin seed oil. Just a hint of pumpkin seeds with a vanilla. Wet unique and genius of a thinking to combine them. I am in love with the vegan scene in Vienna

Not just vanilla and chocolate. *Went to order a blueberry lavender ice cream (a combo I adore). Lady serving insisted I sample it because so many people had not enjoyed the strong lavender flavor. Insisting on samples? Don't have to ask me twice. *Ice creams are made from many different milks. Not just coconut. This is awesome for people with allergies. *Speaking of allergies, list the allergens in each flavor on their menu board. I love this. Veganista is an excellent vegan ice cream shop. So glad I was able to experience it while visiting.

I was worried this place was over-hyped and more of a place you have to "check off the list" than somewhere you want to eat because of the food. If you have any doubts like I did, forget about them because this was actually the best schnitzel we had on our trip! Their potato salad and tomato salads, also amazing! I love that they had option for their schnitzel - the chicken and original were our favorites! Definitely check this spot out when in Vienna - you won't be disappointed!

I had a reservation at 11:30am and there was already an insane line just to get in. Then once they opened the doors other groups of people completely ignore the line outside and just start rushing in. They're in absolutely no rush to seat you so don't have any hope that they'll let you in early. Once you're seated the service is pretty fast. The schnitzel is quite large and good for sharing. I had the original schnitzel with pork. It was thin and crispy but under seasoned in my opinion. The potato salad was the star for me I could have had one all to myself. It was creamy, a little sweet, and tangy. I also tried the soup with clear beef broth and sliced pancakes. Nothing memorable but a nice clean soup if you're in the mood.
