She had him open his mouth and then didnt even look in. It was comical. Her followup phone call complete with "darling" and "hon" and all that was as unprofessional as the cleavage. Leave it at home lady... Other than that, receptionist was fine, area was clean. Nurse who cleaned ears was lovely. We were first ones there so no wait.

Even though the facility is clean and the doctors were nice I still don't think I will chance coming back here again. Too many other options in the area that'll try first. My story goes . . . I showed up at 7:45 and there was already 3 people in line. Before they opened at 8am there was 4 more people behind me waiting in line. I got a faulty iPad for checkin and the receptionist forgot to take my license and insurance card. One or both caused me to lose my place in line. By the time I was called, everyone waiting when they opened including all 4 people after me AND two people who were not even in line at opening had been called. Yes there is a sign that says patience can be called out of order for visits that do not involve a doctor but at least two that came after me needed to be tested for strep & I assume that would require a doctor. So I know for sure my place in line was lost.

More than once, but didn't do the eye test on him with the light. didnt do vitals ... didn't do any kind of test on him ....And barely even looked at him and also before the doctor came in I was waiting to go to the bathroom because I didn't want to bring my son with me to the bathroom in case somebody came and I was trying to get somebody's attention to help and everyone kept side eyeing me and not even asking me if I need anything.... Then registration came and dropped off an iPad for me to fill out my information.... I'm not sure why she even works here if she's just gonna hand iPads to people. They X-Rayed my knee, read the X-Ray and called the orthopedic surgeon that put in my metal knee. She gave me a shot for inflammation and told me to return if needed. We were on the way home before 9am. Exactly what I want from urgent care. Tracy had my orthopedic surgeon's private cell phone number and called him on Saturday morning! Above and beyond. The staff was great and very courteous. I highly recommend Hometown Urgent Care and Tracy

Horrifying experience with one of the nurses (did not catch her name because I was so overwhelmed…read morewith her awfulness unfortunately, before she stormed out of the room like one of my teenagers). She was rude, condescending, and unprofessional during our encounter, and then after she made her oh-so-cool-I'm-better-than-you exit, complete with a slammed door that would rival my 12-year old's efforts, I could hear her talking about me negatively in the hallway to her coworkers. The main heading was "I can't.. I can't with her..." followed by how I would not cooperate with her; trying to make me understand that I have hypertension...yep I'm aware of that, my friend. I have a PCP in Ohio helping me manage my hypertension. I'm not here for that, but all my (not) thanks for telling your whole staff all of that. I am a caregiver myself in Ohio, so I am not stupid...this is a HIPPA violation, which is illegal. I wish I had gotten her name so I could report her, because I would immediately. (Also, um, if you "can't" with someone who just needs FMLA forms signed, then what CAN you do??? Did you actually get educated??). I am not a vindictive person by nature, but this nurse treated me so horribly while I was just trying to get FMLA forms signed to care for my sick (dying) dad. Who actually acts like that towards a person, in such a situation, as a caregiver???? If others have had this experience with this place, I'd love to hear about it, because I want this awful person reported (my mom after the fact gave me some background outlining her own experiences with probably this same cow) and apparently, this nurse just sucks at being a human, let alone a nurse. She is the worst person I have encountered in a long time, and that's saying a lot. Walker Family Care should be ashamed of her presence in their facility. I hope others come forward as well after seeing this review. I'm calling the office regardless to pursue next steps regarding her HIPPA violation if nothing else. After visiting this urgent care 100% understand why. The staff was amazing and very welcoming. I had no anxiety in the office whatsoever, the receptionist was very open to answering any questions I had and very patient with me. Along with the nurses assistant walking me through everything, and the nurse practitioner was very adamant about finding a solution to my problem. Which made me feel a lot of relief about the experience. This is one of the best urgent cares I've been to in my lifetime. I would recommend this experience to anyone if needed, of course.

Thirty minutes and $80'ish later, we were walking back out the door after having seen the provider. Didn't feel rushed through like cattle and Dad was feeling much better the following day due to the RX provided. Only issue was one of the RX given the ins didn't want to cover. I prob could have called the office back and asked for an alternative, but instead just got a partial fill. So 4.5 stars, and that rounds to 5. Just please, for the love of all, keep enough providers and staff on hand to ensure your wait time stays reasonable. Area doesn't need another shoddy and understaffed urgent care!

Thought at-home wound care was okay that evening but the next morning another review of the wound made me feel like I needed urgent medical attention. We did not find this business listed on google. Just happened to see the sign riding out of Cherry Grove. We were there just before they opened, but they came to the door and told us to come in! I was treated with dignity and professionalism with a side of needed humor. A little numbing cream, 5 stitches and a total of an hour spent in the office was a God Send!!! They called in an antibiotic for me right up the block. We even had time to stop and enjoy a nice breakfast out. If you visit this area often and have kids or clumsy friends, make sure you note this place just in case.
