Anyway i get there and use the facilities and give my sample. she tells me its not enough and dumps it. she says to sit and sip a water for another 30mins. so i do that 1-12oz water. after 30 min she gave me another 12oz water. she then takes me back to restroom. i give another sample. she says still not enough and dumps it. i tell her i have to go take my husband to work and i can come back as ive already been there over an hour. she says once im there i can't leave until ive completed the test. this was very aggrivating to me as i was never told i couldnt leave once i started a test, or i would have made different timing arrangements. so she gave me a 3rd 12oz water and i drank 2 16oz bottle waters on my own in hopes to move things along. after 2 and 1/2 hours i went to give a 3rd sample which was now easy to produce. she said its probably going to be too diluted and ill have to come back and do it again. So aggrivating. my husband was late for work because of me, and theres no tv no magazines at the facility so talk about being bored. not that the 2 girls there cared between their facebooking and pandora radio song selection. ive never been a drug user so im not concerned in the least about not passing. i just wish i had the option to come and go in the same day period if necessary or there was a heads up on their no leaving policy, or there was some magazines minimally to pass the time, or have the option of taking any other form of drug test for those of us not able to give a sample quick enough.

I was referred to Clermont in Orangeburg; the radiologists were always friendly and professional. The receptionists were not. When I went in 2020, it was unpleasant. It is always complicated and horrible because the insurance company tells me one thing and Clermont wants to charge an exuberant fee. Due to my having a lump which concerned me, they finally let me have the procedure. I called the insurance company afterwards and they informed me due to my situation, I would not have to pay. I went back on 8/29th, and the experience was awful. First, the receptionist did not speak, smile, or anything. Second, she told me I had a balance, and I should not have. Third, my Dr. ordered it due to my situation. And finally, she rudely informed me that I had to pay $291. 91. What kind of deductible is that? Three days prior, I learned another immediate family member had breast cancer. This heightens my fears. She offered no options; appeared cold, callous and uncaring. She told me either pay the almost $300 or reschedule. I asked if mammograms were offered anywhere else and she nastily replied, "The hospital but they cost more" I will NOT return even if I get the money. I don't trust them at this point and I do not want to give these people my business. I informed the main office in Florida and the person I spoke with was supposed to talk to the director and call me back the next day. Early detection is critical; yet it saddens me that Clermont Radiology is oblivious to that, especially the Orangeburg Office. I will research other places to have the mammogram done even if I have to go out of town. I don't recommend Clermont Radiology in Orangeburg to anyone. Now I have used them in Florida and had a pleasant experience. As a matter of fact, since it is a routine test for women my age, I don't ever recall paying a deductible anywhere and this was before breast cancer was in my family lineage. Go figure.
