I am a patient of Dr. Curry, having had laparoscopic vertical sleeve gastrectomy in August 2015. As…read moreof today, I've lost and maintained 85lbs; I'd do it a hundred times over and I would highly recommend Dr. Curry & his fabulous team of APPs, dietitians, and ancillary staff. Plain and simple, surgical weight loss works if you use it as the tool it's designed for. Every procedure has inherent risks and patients who have surgical weight loss procedures typically have higher than average risks as compared to patients in the general population. The negative reviews should be considered while keeping this in mind; Dr Curry is a very skilled surgeon with an incredibly high volume of cases, so he will inevitably come across complex patients who will experience complications due to challenging anatomy, preexisting conditions, etc. I had fabulous success with my surgery and have had nothing but a wonderful experience with the entire Journeylite team! RD Erin is one of my favorite team members, always giving me great recipes and encouraging me on my journey. Once I hit my goal weight, my journey wasn't over: Dr Curry was there for me when I found myself dealing with a little bit of post-plastic surgery regain. He reminded me that once you're a patient, you're always a patient and helped me get rid of those pesky extra pounds. I'd recommend the entire team without reservation for both medical and surgical weight loss. I'm living a life I never thought I'd be living!

This place has very very very long wait times. I'm updating my review to specify that I was quoted…read morea 5 hour wait. I was actually able to get in to see my PCP faster (within two hours) than the wait time for a walk-in OR a the time it would take for a scheduled appointment with The Little Clinic. Also updating to add: the check -in person ignored me/us for 12 minutes as she flirted with a guy in a Cintas uniform who was there to pick up the files in their Shredder. She could have saved me/us the time if she had mentioned the long wait before we all wasted time waiting in line to sign in. Seriously a waste of my time.

I have been misdiagnosed by The Little Clinic at the Harper's Point at least once, but likely…read moretwice. In the spring of 2014 I became very sick. This was much worse than any allergies, cold or flu I've ever had. I had an awful rattle in my chest, green mucus, etc. I was relatively new to CIncinnati and hadn't yet found a general practitioner to visit. The Little Clinic seemed convenient so I decided to visit them. They told me I had allergies and prescribed an antihistamine. I continued to get more sick over time and visited them again. On my third visit I insisted it was not allergies and finally got them to prescribe me a Z pak. (I have not taken much less asked for an antibiotic in years, so I was pretty desperate.) Low and behold, within a few days of the Z pak I was back to normal. Fool me once, shame on you. More recently I experienced some strange issues with my eye. Some mucus was forming under my contact lenses and I woke up with more crust than usual around my eye a few days in a row. I thought it could potentially be pink eye but it was more likely that I scratched my eye. The nurse shined a flashlight in my eye for two seconds and called it pink eye. She said I was contagious so I took a day off work. After a week on their antibiotic, several days out of contacts and then a fresh pair of contacts I continued to experience the same issue. I decided to go visit an actual eye doctor who said that I had developed an allergy to my contacts. Definitely not pink eye. Nothing contagious at all. Fool me twice, shame on me. As another Yelper said, The Little Clinic might be okay for a flu shot or a school physical, but if you have a legitimate health issue please don't waste your time. I don't know if they're not qualified or just don't care enough to accurately diagnose you, but either way I won't be going back.
