Awesome! A kava/kratom lounge for Gulfport! Recently opened, but they're already doing everything right. The owner is super friendly and welcoming, and seems like a perfect fit for this location. If you like kava, you are going to LOVE this place. I believe it is one of two total kava lounges in the St Pete area. Very chill atmosphere, great art, nice people...highest recommendation. They accept credit cards, and a single kava runs about 3.50. Kratom runs 5.00/single and comes in a variety of great mixes. EDIT: I have been there multiple times now and just can't say enough about the great service.

Such a great location. The kava is always strong and the setting is so enjoyable. The kratom here is made with care and I love the Kombucha tea (lavender is my favorite). This is a great atmosphere. The little coffee house next door has a diverse assortment of flavors for their coffee. This place welcomes dogs and has ping pong tables. This tea house is set right by the beach with wonderful little shops like the hot sauce hut in front and the ice cream shops close by. Low Tide doesn't try too hard and it really doesn't have to. The bar tenders are never too busy to smile and there is always good entertainment. This is an alcohol free bar that sells snacks and a wide assortment of carefully crafted tea. If you're looking for a relaxing time that's stress free definitely give it a chance.

Good location, easy parking, and they have everything I need. I'm happy they are around the corner and I can pop in for kava to-go!

Great service. Kind to customers and great ambiance. Don't go to the north end next door. They are rude. Very rude.

Horrible service coupled with weak, overpriced Kratom tea. Pretty sure I saw a roach in their bar as well.

Seating is seat yourself. Most of the seating is very tight/narrow and is about as wide as a hallway. The longue area is a bit bigger and more spacious but not great views of the beach or sunset. Bathrooms are by the longue area. Come for the sunset views and stay for the drinks/food. If your plan is to come to see the sunset, then you need to get here early in order to get a good seat. Two bars - one in the back by the elevator and one on the other side that faces the beach. There is a ledge type area that allows for more people to stand to look at the beach/sunset. We were told it's best to order your drink/food at the bar and then go sit down to have it brought out to you. Food menu is limited and pricey. We got a crab cake and samba waves (cowboy caviar type dip with wantons). The food was excellent, fresh and good portion size. Drink wise, we were on our babymoon, so I got a mocktail and it was delicious! Bartender made me a raspberry mojito mocktail. The views of the sunset are beautiful considering how high up you are. After the sunset most people got out of there and it was quiet.

The ambience in this place is magical, the seating area, the decorations, the drinks the service is amazing. We went a little early because we were on our way to a soccer game, however, this did not stop the magic from occurring. I could definitely see how this place could get jampacked with fun during the late night hours. They have a DJ booth set up in the middle of the bar area, the music is a great choice and a perfect vibe! And the drinks that they serve here are phenomenal. You can definitely tell that they have put their heart and soul into these drinks. If you ask for any recommendations, they tailor it to you and definitely pick the best drink on the menu for your taste buds. Their espresso martini has been rated number two this past year and lost first place by two votes , but I definitely think they deserve number one for years to come. This was the best espresso martini that I've ever tasted. The flavor was so smooth they were no complaints. My fiancé even ordered the smoked old fashion, oh my gosh this came out with the perfect presentation. And the flavor was so unique, you must try this place! The only downside is, they aren't serving food currently due to low staffing. But their food menu does look great! I hope they bring this in soon.

If you're looking for a (mostly) tequila-based craft cocktail, or a break from the norm in walking distance from numerous hotels and beach bars, this is definitely the place to go. They're related to the excellent Agave restaurant two doors down in the same building, so certain Agave food items are available here. In any case, I stopped in for some drinks recently and loved everything. I started with their Oaxaca Old Fashioned, which is an orange-tasting mix of tequila, mezcal and bitters. Moved on to The Don; a great margarita. Finally, feeling the need to step it up, I asked for a recommendation on a reasonably priced smooth tequila to sip; the recommended Padre Azul anejo was exactly what I was looking for. The interior has more of a lounge vibe than a bar; lots of group seating areas, a pool table, chess, etc. Now, my six months later update to my original review; I've since ventured into the world of mezcal, and love coming here to find random new mezcals they get in. Mezcal is also produced from the agave plant, but unlike tequila, generally can't be produced in anywhere near the volume, so you aren't going to find it receiving the same attention tequila does, since no distiller could generate enough to keep up with the demand an advertising campaign would bring. I've found I really enjoy a smoky mezcal, straight up or even for an upgraded margarita, and many of the mezcals they serve here can also be purchased in bottle form at the liquor store next door (a family member of the owner owns that store).
