    The classic morning melt
    Amy H.

Loved this place!! The bartenders/barista's were amazing. The food was very good. I Had the classic morning melt. The atmosphere was fun. My pistachio martini was so good. They had live music in the bar for their Sunday Jazz Brunch

The drinks were fantastic and the staff were very nice and helpful! The decor inside was well done, it has the exact ambience you would hope for. The only improvement I would suggest is maybe some more filling food options once this place starts getting bigger, but we will definitely come back.

Loved the Jazz Brunch! The ambiance is a quaint, New Orleans bistro. The food is absolutely delicious! A great portion of food that dazzles the taste buds. The service is cheerful and quick. We will return for delightful jazz, tasty treats and a relaxing atmosphere.

After a long day of teaching classes, the Sober Bar was the perfect place to wind down.

Our group was so happy to hang out at the Sober Bar! First of all, we were greeted by Lor on the sidewalk sharing samples of one of their signature drinks - it was delicious! After our walk to the pier, we came back to enjoy the delicious offerings. We met Sean, who was one of the owners and greeted us warmly. The music selection was great and the volume was just right where our group can have a conversation without yelling at each other. I loved the bathroom decor of the moss and alligator head over the toilet - good Feng Shui so the money won't flush down the toilet LOL We all highly recommend coming to this lovely place!

Seating is seat yourself. Most of the seating is very tight/narrow and is about as wide as a hallway. The longue area is a bit bigger and more spacious but not great views of the beach or sunset. Bathrooms are by the longue area. Come for the sunset views and stay for the drinks/food. If your plan is to come to see the sunset, then you need to get here early in order to get a good seat. Two bars - one in the back by the elevator and one on the other side that faces the beach. There is a ledge type area that allows for more people to stand to look at the beach/sunset. We were told it's best to order your drink/food at the bar and then go sit down to have it brought out to you. Food menu is limited and pricey. We got a crab cake and samba waves (cowboy caviar type dip with wantons). The food was excellent, fresh and good portion size. Drink wise, we were on our babymoon, so I got a mocktail and it was delicious! Bartender made me a raspberry mojito mocktail. The views of the sunset are beautiful considering how high up you are. After the sunset most people got out of there and it was quiet.

The ambience in this place is magical, the seating area, the decorations, the drinks the service is amazing. We went a little early because we were on our way to a soccer game, however, this did not stop the magic from occurring. I could definitely see how this place could get jampacked with fun during the late night hours. They have a DJ booth set up in the middle of the bar area, the music is a great choice and a perfect vibe! And the drinks that they serve here are phenomenal. You can definitely tell that they have put their heart and soul into these drinks. If you ask for any recommendations, they tailor it to you and definitely pick the best drink on the menu for your taste buds. Their espresso martini has been rated number two this past year and lost first place by two votes , but I definitely think they deserve number one for years to come. This was the best espresso martini that I've ever tasted. The flavor was so smooth they were no complaints. My fiancé even ordered the smoked old fashion, oh my gosh this came out with the perfect presentation. And the flavor was so unique, you must try this place! The only downside is, they aren't serving food currently due to low staffing. But their food menu does look great! I hope they bring this in soon.

If you're looking for a (mostly) tequila-based craft cocktail, or a break from the norm in walking distance from numerous hotels and beach bars, this is definitely the place to go. They're related to the excellent Agave restaurant two doors down in the same building, so certain Agave food items are available here. In any case, I stopped in for some drinks recently and loved everything. I started with their Oaxaca Old Fashioned, which is an orange-tasting mix of tequila, mezcal and bitters. Moved on to The Don; a great margarita. Finally, feeling the need to step it up, I asked for a recommendation on a reasonably priced smooth tequila to sip; the recommended Padre Azul anejo was exactly what I was looking for. The interior has more of a lounge vibe than a bar; lots of group seating areas, a pool table, chess, etc. Now, my six months later update to my original review; I've since ventured into the world of mezcal, and love coming here to find random new mezcals they get in. Mezcal is also produced from the agave plant, but unlike tequila, generally can't be produced in anywhere near the volume, so you aren't going to find it receiving the same attention tequila does, since no distiller could generate enough to keep up with the demand an advertising campaign would bring. I've found I really enjoy a smoky mezcal, straight up or even for an upgraded margarita, and many of the mezcals they serve here can also be purchased in bottle form at the liquor store next door (a family member of the owner owns that store).

Lots of seating options are spread out throughout the different rooms. I enjoyed the Freakshow wine (the blend) that I was served. There are a couple of TVs in one of the larger rooms - that coupled with $2 mimosas on Sundays makes this a solid spot for Sunday funday fans. Like the neighboring businesses, the Patio Lounge backs up to the Pinellas Trail, which although is not a new thing, provides a peaceful walk from the bar to the other bars (or the parking garage). I don't make it out to Dunedin very often these days but if I do, I would definitely return to TPL.

Due to shortage of staff. -Do not expect food, the usual food truck os not up to the game - No draft Guinness anymore? They pour the can into the Guinness glass (sorry not cool )
