Waited and waited and waited for service today kept ringing the bell for help.. no one came so we abandoned the buggy and left .

Its 3 months before halloween gets here and the Lowes in Dickson already has these 20' monsters at the front door of the store. They do this every year and scare little kids as they come in. Most of them crying in fear. Could they not put the stuff in back of store and if someone wants to look at it they can go to back of store. Why would any business want to put fear in their customers kids. This manger needs to be reprimanded. They say corporate tells them to put it out. I asked corporate and i was told they don't tell them to put it at front door just in store. read more

Bought a fridge in September. Didn't come with door handles. Was told they could take it back and bring me a new one. I'd been a week without a fridge, so I asked if they could just mail me the handles. No one told me that in 2 days, Lowe's was no longer responsible. Called the delivery people, who are contracted by Lowe's, they say.....well, who knows what they say. The phone connection sucked, they spoke Spanish and I don't. I called Lowe's and the guy at the appliance department literally said "Not my problem" . Here it is, now April, and no handles. If Lowe's is the only place in the world to buy something else, I'm doing without. I would advise anyone else to do the same. That's what we get for allowing these companies to run out the mom and pop businesses who thrived on customer service. Lowe's suck and doesn't care about you after they get your money. On 12/13/23, we ordered an entry door from Lowe's for $2,498.45. When the installers arrived with the door, there were some scratches on the surface. We were told that normally a repair kit came with each door for just this situation, but our kit was missing. We were assured that the kit would be ordered and they would return for the repairs. We have subsequently received multiple phone calls detailing why the kit had not arrived. Finally, the phone calls stopped. It is now 6/7/2024, six months later and no repair kit, no repairmen, and no further communication from Lowe's. Customer support for this particular department and store is non-existent. read more

Attempted to sell us this mulch. Said I will give you 2/1. But half of the mulch is already missing and bags rip upon picking up. Last time we were here they were watering the bags directly next to the plants. That's how the bags get in such bad shape. Mulch has mold after opening because of so wet constantly. If this wasn't the only Lowe's with the mulch we would go elsewhere. Also slow. Always unfriendly. Lady Manager in garden section is terribly rude. read more

Went into Dickson Lowes Fathers Day and purchased a smoker grill for my disabled husband's gift. The total amount was 308 which included set up and delivery. The grill was to have been delivered Thursday June 22. Never delivered. Tracking status showed delayed. Phone call to Lowes stated grill to arrive between 11 a.m and 3 p.m. Never arrived. Called and was told by one person it was loaded a 2 p.m. was transferred to shipping and receiving. They said they have had no communication from the 3rd party delivery service and they don't know why it hasn't been delivered. Will not use their delivery option again. read more

Had issues with my windows and they helped me resolve them. I ordered the windows through Lowes and it took a while but all worked out in the end. I see a lot of bad reviews on this store from impatient entitled people who obviously don't live in the real world. Staff has ALWAYS been nice and done their best. We use Lowes next day delivery or same day pick up often and have always had a wonderful experience. We ordered over 100 items to be delivered this past Saturday and realized after driver left, the 10 bags of concreate didn't make it on the truck. With 3 of us helping to unload, no one double checked until we noticed we didn't have it a few minutes after the driver left. No biggie, we went to the store and they didn't know how to handle it and gave us a few numbers to call. I did have to reach back out after a few days of not hearing from them but Adam, the store manager, took care of everything immediately and professionally! He is refunding our delivery fee and personally delivering the 10 bags of concrete later today! WE have nothing negative to say about the delivery driver( third party company) or Lowes! It was an honest mistake. Stuff happens and how a business handles it says a lot! Adam is top notch and went above and beyond to make things right! read more

Can I give negative stars?? We bought a toilet and the installation package per the associates recommendation. He warned us it might take a couple of weeks for the install and we were ok with that. However, the plumber they go through never returned my calls and cancelled on us last minute, not once but twice! Unfortunately, that means I lost 2 days of work since I cleared my schedule for both appointments. We decided to go through another company and get a refund on the installation package. Simple fix. The day our new plumber is scheduled to pickup and install this toilet I call Lowe's and make sure they have it ready. "No worries" customer service said, "We got it". First Lowe's tells our plumber they can't find our toilet anywhere in the store and then Lowe's tries to say their system shows we got a full refund for the installation AND the toilet. So, I drive up there and show all of my paperwork and receipts to a manager and prove that toilet has been bought and paid for. The poor plumber we hired had to sit at Lowe's for over 45 mins waiting to pickup something that was supposed to be ready to go, which as you guessed it, cost us more money for Lowe's incompetence. They did eventually somehow magically find our toilet with our name in bold print on it. Just to top the cake here. I called corporate and spoke to a truly lovely lady who meant well. She offered us a $15 e-card that never showed up and to rectify the situation, a phone from the store manager... who never called. Big shout out to Lowe's for $129 toilet that in the end cost me over $1100. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service ever! Went in store and purchased insulation and rented a blower. We waited over an hour before we had to track down a manager to get the items brought out to us. We were told they would be right up with the machine and insulation. Very disappointed in our local store that has always been helpful. Might make the drive to Bellevue next time. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the experience my husband and I had at Lowe's today. We went to purchase supplies to make a fire pit. My husband and I loaded everything on the large cart and he walked to the front to pay for it. The kind woman at the front told my husband that someone would be back there who could help him load the stones into his truck. We started to go toward the back gate and the woman was back there, Cheryl, told us we couldn't leave back there and that we would have to carry all those stones and supplies to the front to leave. I told her I couldn't do that with my asthma. She then walked away without speaking to us and got on a phone and called someone and said something about how needed help and she was not going to help us because she was too busy to help someone load something. The nice man, Benjamin, who they sent to help us load was amazing! Unfortunately our experience was ruined by Cheryl's disregard to my asthma and to general customer service. read more

Because this is the closest home improvement store, I have gone there several times through the years. However, it is pretty terrible. I wish a better store would come to Dickson (and I'm not suggesting Home Depot is any better.) What the home improvement world needs is a store that's actually good, with well informed and helpful employees. This Lowe's falls short there. I remember one time while there I was at the customer service counter trying to get waited on. There were at least 4 employees inside, all talking about nothing in particular. This was a couple of years ago. What was particularly bad was that I found out one was a manager! His name was, I think, Mike or Mick or Matt. Something like that. Average height, sleight of weight, might have had a beard. A guy like that ought to know better than to completely ignore a customer who is standing there. The employees are not exactly what you'd call, 'the best and the brightest.' Unfortunately, most act like they don't care and wish they were some place else. It's frustrating when you're trying to do the simplest of tasks and can't get the most basic of help. I remember a short guy in the doors department trying to tell me that paying $3,000 - $4,000 for a front door was perfectly normal. The guy said he used to have his own door company and was an expert on doors. I thought he was an expert in being a jerk. What he was not an expert in was customer service. If you're like me, you may be stuck with this Lowe's until something better comes along, but eventually, that will happen. And when it does, I won't feel too bad about this store losing business. They most definitely deserve to, imo. read more

We are having to repair and remodel a rental house we have to get it ready for market. The last tenants did over $40,000 in damage and we're through with being landlords. We're getting down to the finishing touches so we decided to let Lowe's install the carpet since if you spend over X amount of dollars the installation is free. Last week we were told the installer would be there on Wednesday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM to measure and give us an estimate. I waited 4 hours. They never showed up so we went to our local store and asked why. We were given a toll free number to call and after being on hold for 20 minutes we were told the installer was training someone and running behind. She asked if we could reschedule so it was scheduled for today, the following Monday. He will be there first thing in the morning we were told. Once again we waited until noon and nobody ever showed up. Back to the store where we were told once again to call a toll free number. My wife called and was told (after 20 minutes on hold again) that the person actually in charge of scheduling in our area would be calling. Cut to after 3:00 PM and no call. We stopped at a local flooring store on our way home and gave them the job. It will be done by tomorrow night. Oh...and the scheduler from Lowe's still hasn't called. Talk about a bad joke. read more

They just lost 35k a year from me for 1-9 month old pump. Can't search my card transactions anymore. I have always stayed aware of their so many returns a year policy. And this year haven't returned or exchanged anything. And all I wanted was for them to simply swap the pump I had in my hand. My card transactions are stored their system. Why do I need to carry thousands of receipts in truck to search through. So I done. Hope they all reading this. Most of them know my face but will soon become a stranger. Hurry up Home Depot. My husband and I have been going to Lowe's for some years now and not because we think it is great. sometimes it is, depending which department we are in and sometimes, the employees cannot be bothered; if you can find one. It is not so much the service but the KNOWLEDGE they have. Most of the time, when we ask about an appliance, for instance, they always need to call someone in the hope that other person knows the answer. A lot of time is wasted trying to find things out. As the other person commented, a Home Depot would be great competition for Lowes. read more
