My project went through 3 contractors during that time. They apologized and told me that was not the way they want to do business. Fast forward one year. I have had to have Nashville irrigation and lighting come out to fix issues with their work 3 times. My .25 acre yard wasn't probably enough for them to worry about doing well. Just be careful hiring them for irrigation.

They are going to nickel and dime you to resolve any issues and not stand behind their work or company name. We used Blingle to install lights in our front and back yard about two years ago. Design and installation went smoothly - no issues. However, the reason for my poor review is due to customer service now that two franchises (?) have merged. We have an issue with one of our lights and the new owners aren't honoring the agreement that we had with the previous Blingle franchise. I compare this to a Ford dealer telling a customer they aren't willing to service a vehicle that was purchased at a different Ford dealership - but aren't they the same company? They told me they are "offering an olive branch" to come help me out. They wanted to charge over $100 to come to our house just to look at the issue. I figured the issue is due to low amps from where the main electrical is located and was probably an installation issue, but I was willing to pay the service charge if it's something else besides their error. This is after I was told by the original installer/franchise that any installation issues or hardware issues would be covered under warranty. After my initial phone call for service, I provided my address and photos of the issue because I expected to be contacted to schedule the appointment. It was my understanding from my conversation with the new owners that the service fee would be owed if the issue was caused by something else than incorrect installation or hardware - like damage from an animal, our landscaper etc. I was more than happy to pay that and any other charges if the issue wasn't their fault or failing hardware under warranty. No additional follow-up was made until a day or two later when an invoice from Blingle showed up in my email. I thought I missed their inspection (the light is outside, so I thought maybe they came while I wasn't home and they fixed the issue) so I called to follow up. I was then told I would have to prepay the service call invoice before they would come to our house. We have been doing upgrades and repairs to our home but we have never had a company ask us to prepay for a service visit. So now I'm being asked to pay an invoice, that I shouldn't have to pay, before services are even provided? The nominal amount of the invoice wasn't the issue, it's the principle and the way the whole situation was handled. Now I'm going to have to find another lighting company to come out to fix my lights and probably pay more than the original service fee. I'm more than happy to pay more with a company that appreciates their customers. We also live in a new neighborhood and I've provided referrals to Blingle due to the experience we had at installation. That won't happen again and I will be sure to share my poor experience with anyone who asks.

When we arrived, no one was out in the parking lot,. So we walked around a bit. After a few minutes we decided to try a door with a sign reading, "Office". Upon entering , we found (I am assuming) the owner sitting at a desk with an employee (son?). They both stared up at me indignantly. I said, "Hi, Sorry. Not sure if I came in the right door. I was wondering if there was someone who could help answer a few questions". "There was no one out there to help you?", replied the owner. "Well he's probably busy. Anyway. What's the question?" So I told him that I was looking for someone to finish a side wall and garage door opening of the 24x48 pole barn. He asked where I lived. When I told him, Cedar Hill, his response was, "Hrm. that's quite FAR". Really??? Sorry..... But even the text in the Yelp description reads. "WE ARE ONLY MINUTES FROM NASHVILLE, BELLEVUE, FRANKLIN, CLARKSVILLE" - Nashville is 58 minutes - Franklin is 1 hour 10 minutes ??!!?? How is it that Cedar Hill, only 48 minutes away, is FAR ??!!?? The two men grumbled a bit more about how far it was and how much work it was to do. So I showed them pictures on my phone. Then, sensing that they were completely disinterested, I asked them.... "If you're unable to do the work, would you be able to you deliver the panels so that I could do the work myself?" (- I'm a 5'6", 55 yr old woman - ). "We could", the owner replied. "There will be a delivery fee". "Ok. How much would the metal sheets be each?", I asked. With a straight face, he responded, "The panels are 3 feet wide and are $310 per foot (in the other direction)". -- Say what?!?! -- I asked again. He told me again. Then I wrote it down. My son & friend who were with me both looked at me as we walked to the car & said, "That's crazy". He was going to charge me $29,000 for JUST the eight, 12 foot panels. That's not even the front side. INSANE! (I know the entire 24x48 structure with metal sides & roof only cost $10k. So $29k to fill a hole in the side was pure BS). People have become so lazy. Basically he was telling us to f* off. Very Christian indeed. PS. ..... Ik ben opgegroeid in Nederland. Deze mensen gedroegen zich niet zoals alle Nederlanders die ik ken.
