There's always a good selection here with products. The customer service is very spotty. There was a flag on sale for Memorial Day, but didn't ring up on the sale price. I asked the customer service about the $6 dollar difference and Jarae the cashier said there was nothing she could do. This is where I go when the Abingdon can't get their stuff together....which is becoming more and more often. Snowmageddon 2016 this was the only place that seemed to be able to get shovels, heater, and snowblowers. Also, I have always been greeted as I entered the store and asked if I needed help finding anything. I am not sure if this is a company policy of something this store's managers emphasize, but the Abingdon location could take a lesson. read more

Warning don't buy a lawn moar from Lowe's One of the worst experiences with customer service I have ever had in my life I bought a lawn moar from these clowns that call them selves a corporation the lawn moar broke I did a claim for it they took it usually it takes 2 weeks to fix it took a month and half to fix my moar because they didn't have parts so much for a hardware store I had to pay mo eh to get my moar fixed, pay for my 3 acres to be cut and when I got my moar back still didn't work had to send it out again to get fixed pay for that again we are looking for about $660 dollars that I spent and what does Lowe's do gives me $50 because that's all they can cover when I called corporate I spoke to a manage named London who didn't help at all and when I asked to speak to her boss she basically said that her boss is above my $50 problems and she has now way to give me his contact information email number nothing this company is a total joke I would t be surprised for they go out of business for the bs they feed people most likely will end up like sears and toys are us never again read more

Lowes White Marsh: I am a US military veteran with a disability. I noticed Lowe's offered 10% to military so I created an account last week on the Lowe's military page but I was declined. I also uploaded official US military docs as suggested but still nothing. Being Memorial Day, I pulled myself together with my DD form 214, discharge papers and honorable discharge certificate. People I also have on my real ID that I am a US Veteran as we all must provide all forms to the DMV. I drove to Lowe's today and spoke to a manager at the White Marsh store. After impatiently hearing me out the manager simply "blew me off" and said "you have to go to the website". No assistance was offered. Terrible customer service. Wow... I know 10% doesn't seem like a lot but folks I have to watch every penny. This was one of the most horrible displays of customer service I have seen especially on Memorial Day to a US Veteran. Most disappointed... I hardly ever write negative reviews however, I felt degraded and thought this was necessary. I am a US Military Vet!! read more

I prefer Lowe's over the other home improvement store. This particular Lowe's is very clean and it's employees are very helpful. I've never encountered anyone with a bad attitude in here- and that is why I continue to come here. This place is well stocked. I've never had any problems finding what I'm looking for. Their garden dept is my go to when spring and summer roll around. I recently bought doors/storm doors for my house and Brad in the door/window department couldn't have been any more helpful or kind. UPDATE***** It's been almost two weeks and I still haven't received a phone call to schedule the installation of two doors/storm doors. They did call me immediately the next day after I made half of my credit card payment because they had forgotten to obtain my credit card's expiration date. No delay when it came to obtaining THEIR payment! I have since called twice to inquire about scheduling an install date and have been given the runaround. Seems like once you make a payment, their job is done. I was provided with the contractor's cell phone number and asked to make the call myself. That is not my job! That is your job; and is why I spent thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars on doors. I was considering having my windows bought/replaced by Lowe's but have since decided against it simply because of their poor installation service. I suggest Lowe's do a better job at following through with their installation service. It reflects terribly on them, regardless of who installs it. read more

Not a fan of this place anymore. I'll stick with Home Depot. We live in the city and came to this location to purchase new rugs for the upcoming holidays. The cashier started the transaction out ok but when we tried to use a 10% coupon she said they don't take those. Lol it was a Lowes coupon and I called ahead to make sure & was told it was fine...if anything I came in to make sure it worked! I should also mention..we did in fact COME IN to order the rugs as a different staff member told me that they didn't have any in stock. I found them and was going to let it go. Went to Lowes to get a replacement part for our Larson Storm Door. No one in that area seemed to want to help and when we finally found someone to answer a question he was very rude, very condescending and made us feel like he didn't have the time and couldn't be bothered. We will take our business to Home Depot from now on!! read more

Walked into the store seeking assistance and dealt with a Mr. Ter Bush. He was extremely rude and unhelpful, and when I asked if I could deal with someone else he belittled me instead. Never have I been so offended with a shopping experience. I don't know what his problem was but that is unacceptable behavior. I hope management takes note. read more

I needed hinges to complete a kitchen for a customer. Abingdon didn't have enough so I went to your store in White Marsh. I was in a panic to get enough before the night was out. Marie W. that works in Hardware went above and beyond to help me. She climbed the ladder and went through boxes and bins till I went home with 35 sets of hinges. The customer was happy, I was happy Thank you again Marie W. I believe your Manager is Keith C. give that girl a raise! Lol read more

4 weeks and I am still waiting on my refund of $476.05, only took them 5 seconds to withdraw it from my account but they can't seem to put it back. Every time I call I get another excuse. Maybe time to call a lawyer at this point. I will never shop there again. read more

I would give them negative stars if I could . Never ever try to get something installed from this store. The customer service and the process is is the worst and most antiquated you can imagine. I bought a vanity with sink in August, was promised they would install it, and from that moment I did hang every week on the phone, trying to get the installer to come to my house in order to get an estimate, then to actually get the estimate [ the original installer who looked at the bathroom quit , so another installer finally took over the job, without knowing the details of the installation site] , then I had to drive back to the store to actually sign the contract and pay in person [ two different bills, that were deducted on two different days following some old Mary land law, just imagine the paperwork that was involved in that] then again I heard nothing from the installer until I called, got a installation date 2 weeks later, I took off work and off course they did not show up, telling me that their computer broke down the night before, then we rescheduled, and I was happy that they were willing to make up for it on a Saturday, a guy showed up who had no idea that thus was an old house and told me he might to reschedule again, since he does not have the lines he needs for this old house, after I really fuzzed he found some pieces in his car, installed finally the sink , [2 after I bought the sink] and then that sink started to leak the same night and destroyed the underlying room. They came back and fixed the leaking line they had installed , and now I have been again on the phone every week in order to find out who will repair the damage. And again between the lowes customer service and the installer , lots of promised phone calls and follow up that never happen. NEVER EVER USE THIS STORE. I will buy on AMAZON the next time and get my installer also over AMAZON. Can't get any worse. ...and I still have a damaged ceiling at this point in time ... read more
