If you're in need of assistance, there's usually someone lurking around to help, and if not, there's an information/customer service booth by the entrance with friendly people to help. Lowe's has an unbelievable amount of merchandise for anything and everything you can imagine for your house. Problem with this particular Lowe's is that it can be difficult to find help sometimes so you may have to turn your attention away from Yelp for a few seconds and dial into the aisles to figure out where things are located. read more

Our home was flooded like many others in the SE Texas area...we decided to try Lowe's for our flooring replacement needs. We agreed to pay Lowe's to have our flooring needs (carpet & vinyl) measured. Lowe's does not actually do any flooring installation work...it is "ALL" contracted out...nation wide...and they only use "ONE" contractor...which is Keller Interiors, Inc....another nationwide company...Keller Interiors, Inc...in turn hires area sub-contractor flooring companies, (in my case Creative Solutions), and the flooring sub-contractors farm out the actual installation to other flooring contractors, companies, Joe Blow's, Chuck's With A Truck, etc. Long story short...Creative Solutions and/or Keller Interiors, Inc. and/or Lowe's (Beaumont/Corporate) grossly inflated what was needed to complete my flooring needs by nearly 100%. Creative Solutions and Keller Interiors make their money through excessive labor charges per sq ft, and misc installation products...and Lowe's makes their money by selling the customer more flooring material that is needed. A Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaint has been filed by me (#520556) against Lowe's Corp...as of 12/1/2017 (3 weeks) the complaint has yet to be addressed by Lowe's Corp. I have made waves at Lowe's Corp and the local Beaumont, TX store. How do I know...just take a look at the Lowe's Home Improvement Corp FaceBook (FB) page...the RANT&RAVE section...you'll find 3 detailed postings by me...sorry, but you have to wade through nearly 100+ RANTS to find mine...because that is how many complaints Lowe's has received just recently. In addition all the FB postings I made to the Lowe's Corp page were copied to the local Beaumont...Store #95...FB page. And to top it off I ended up having to go to the Beaumont store, because Lowe's will not answer the phone when called. I was there for 1 hour and 20 mins at the Customer Service desk waiting to talk to a manager...Jamie Lundquist (an assistant manager)...after he had been paged over the stores intercom...and direct calls to his phone...a total of 3 times...and Jamie L. nor the stores head manager...never responded. Save your time and money...do business with a store that appreciates you as a customer...not someone that only appreciates your money. read more

We bought a refrigerator and they offered free delivery. They said the delivery would be on Sunday from 8am-2pm and we would receive a call 30 minutes before they were due to be here. At 2pm that day, we called the store and were told it would arrive by 8pm. The delivery never happened. We called again Monday and was told the refrigerator was still on the truck and would be delivered that day. It was never delivered. After numerous calls and being placed on hold (at one time over an hour), we spoke to the store manager. He said he would credit our account back the money. On Wednesday, we received a call that the refrigerator was on its way. We told them it was already going to be credited and not to bring it. On Thursday, we still didnt see the credit back to our account and after speaking with the manager again, he said he was unable to get hold of the delivery people and they had not brought the refrigerator back and we were told he would call us back at 3pm, which he never did. It's now Saturday and I have been on hold with the store for over an hour waiting to speak again to the manager. A letter has been sent to the Lowe's corporate headquarters. We could not reach them either. Never again...I just want our money back and we will go to Home Depot, Best Buy or Amazon from now on. This Lowe's sucks. read more

What has happened to customer service!! It has been a tough 17 months for a lot of people. Stores, like Lowe's, made a lot of money due to "Harvey". We personally spent over $10,000 in 2018 at Lowe's. How sad that when we try to return, willing to take a store credit, a $65 item, without a receipt, but clearly a Lowe's product, and the manager says no. What was worse he really could have cared less. For me, the $65 is a small amount considering the $10,000 we spent, but it was the attitude of the manager. Customer service is everything and lack of it can destroy a business. read more

My dealings with Lowes flooring department has been a total NIGHTMARE. I have had to take off from my job 3 times without pay, and they have not got it right yet. They never showed up during their allotted time frame. and then have order wrong. Once I get my money back from them, I will never do business with them again. read more

Well I bought a deep freeze on Friday...delivery was set up for Saturday .....Saturday evening came around..still hadn't heard from anyone so I called..manager was nice..but the man who set everything up that Friday failed to even send it to the warehouse...so they reset everything up for Sunday...they said they would be here between 4-6pm....at 6 pm I still hasn't heard anything....I called lowes again..the operator was very rude...asked for another manager.....when I started explaining..he said..oh ur Mrs perry..so undoubtably there was some talk at the store...he said he would call the warehouse and see what was up....it's now 7 pm and I still haven't seen a deep freeze yet....I'm very disappointed ..not in the management but at whom ever sets up the delivery...when u tell someone you are going to be there you need to be there or call and let the person know.... read more

There are not enough words to describe how horrible their customer service, online ordering system, in store pick-up is. In October 2018 I purchased a washing machine and that was supposed to be delivered on a Monday, two weeks later I had to cancel the order because they didn't know when it would be in and drive 1.5 hours to get a different one that was in stock. In November 2018 I purchased a weed eater/blower combo set and was supposed to be delivered on a Monday, week later the order was cancelled by the manufacturer but I was never informed of this or refunded until I repeatedly called up there. The biggest issue with them now, is that I ordered and paid for tile on September 2018 and 2 months later I still do not have it installed. When calling and asking about it, they give me the run around saying they aren't sure. Now I have repeatedly called all throughout the day only to either be placed on hold or to be hung up on. This is ridiculous and horrible customer service! Do not go there! read more

We purchased a new washer from here, had the delivery guy install it, was really happy, that's where it ended! The washer was a heavy duty top loader, I'm talking really large capacity. I heard the finish buzzer go off and went into the garage to find it flooded! We've had this happen before with an old front loader when the gasket around the door went, but not this much water! My husband found that they had not connected the hose that's pumps the water correctly and it had come out of the drain pipe to spew the water on the wall behind and onto the floor! Our master bedroom is located just behind this location, and the carpet in there was wet approximately 3 feet from the shared wall! I called Lowe's and asked for help, the woman said she would have someone call me! Someone did with a case number 3 days later! I had already called my homeowners insurance and they had sent out a remediation company the next morning! Now it gets worse, because the representative for Lowes basically made it sound like it wasn't their problem and they wouldn't pay! The carpet in our bedroom , living room, floor in the Master Bath and baseboards in these rooms were all gutted! We were displaced from our home for three days into a hotel. Rooms for 4 people, not cheap! Still the Lowe's rep was never apologetic and our Rep from Liberty Mutual said no problem we will collect from them and your deductible. Still no apology ever from Lowe's and one will never be acceptable, will never shop there again! read more

I ordered a fridge on Nov 25 . So one called to set up time for it to be delivered, they just showed up at door and no one was home. The delivery guy then called and i told him anytime after 1pm next day would be fine. Another man called later that afternoon i told him same thing....after 1pm. Guess what....... automated call at 9m to say delivery would be 11am-1pm next day. I give up..... read more
