I normally don't support big box stores, but after shopping at Parker's, I understand why people…read moredon't go there. Their customer service is nonexistent and the management is the worst of the worst. This store sold me lumber with mold on it on more than one occasion. I have spent months trying to contact them to get help. The manager will absolutely not answer the phone and return phone calls. The general manager at the store is the most unhelpful, unpleasant, and unprofessional person I've ever dealt with. I found out directly from a Parker's employee that this Parker's location has been selling old lumber for a long time now, and the employees are aware of it. He stated that the lumber is not kept dry out back. Be very careful shopping at this location and make sure to inspect every board that you get. It's unfortunate that Ken Parker is not running this company anymore because it was not run like this when he was in charge.

I went in needing a single screw and washer. The young man that tried to help me didn't have the…read moreslightest possible amount of knowledge. I had the screw with me which turned out to be 8mm x 20mm fine thread. He picked up a two inch lag bolt and ask if it would work. thought I was being filmed on Candid Camera. I found a hex head bolt that would work and said I needed a washer. He picked out one obviously too small. I said it was too small and he told me to try it anyway. I put it to the opening and he said, Oh, it's too tight. Then I was sure I was getting punked. I got my item and got out of there. I'm not sure if he was just trying to be that ignorant or not. I won't be back unless abs necessary.

Worst customer service experience ever. James, one of the managers, came off with a very disruptive…read moretone and insulted myself as well as my peers when attempting to solve solutions to the order. He even asked if I "could read" when going through the catalog. James obviously cannot stay level in his position and does a terrible job of controlling his emotions. The other manager was very cooperative (didn't get a name) and understanding of the situation. She is working on the solution and kept a level head. However, I would not recommend them and to go anywhere else but cotton cargo.
