After the last time I went to pick up a cabinet (after driving 70 miles one way) and getting the wrong cabinet, then being told that they didn't have the one I had paid for, I swore I would never go back. But then I saw a trailer at a good price. The store site said they had 2 available. I decided to try again and paid for the trailer. I received an email saying the trailer was ready for pick up. I again drove the 70 miles one way. The bar card and order number did not work at the pickup area and I had to wait for a real person. When the worker, who was very nice, tried to access my order he aso was unable and he went to his boss who was able to access my order. The boss came out and said he had no trailers as one had a damaged deck and the other had a flat tire. He seemed unconcerned about the expense ($4 gallon gas!) and the time that had been wasted. Purchased a washing machine that is currently 8 days old. First day I washed 2 loads, and everything was fine. Started a load 6 days later and water was leaking from the dispenser drawer and control panel as well as leaking from the bottom of the door (front end loader). The machine also has multiple load selections; however, several of them to not work at all. Contacted Lowes today and got bounced around for nearly 30 minutes. I was told they would not replace the defective machine they sold me, because I do not have their store credit card. So, be aware you cannot pay in cash, or use another credit card when making purchases with Lowes if you want them to be accountable for selling defective appliances. I also did not ask for my money back, I simply asked them to give me another machine, and we would bring the defective machine back to them. They made it very clear they are not interested in reconciling this issue. read more

Products are usually good quality, selection is fair to poor, service is unbelievably bad... if you can find somebody. I go dozens of times a year so it's not just a one time thing. There is one guy in a wheelchair who is fantastic and he will help even if he's not familiar with the department. Most are unable to help, and I have had some that are unwilling to help, just awful. read more

Two stars is for the quality of the appliances. Zero stars for customer service. We live 1 1/2 hrs from the store. It is easier and faster to talk to someone driving to their store than it is to call them. Three hours round trip. First phone call took 4 hrs to talk to someone. Second one was only 2 hours. Third was successful but then they could not find the right person for me to talk to so mysteriously hung up on me. Crazy! Not sure when they plan on delivering fridge but supposedly last week was when we were to get it. Guess we just stay home and sit and wait for them? Lousy business practices. Be aware that when you purchase warranties on appliances here, they start the clock on the DAY OF PURCHASE! Not the day it's delivered, so 6 months pass before you get that fridge? I will say Marty the sales person was great in the appliance department. I called a head of time the next day to let them know I would be there in an hour. I got there loaded up. When unloading and in the unit we noticed this isn't the right frig. Frustrated when I called, all managers were in a meeting, transferred to appliance 3 times/ no one picked up. I had to call back twice just to be told someone will call me back. Well the frig is on its way back, my husbands going to find where the right one is. I hired help to move the frig and dishwasher so now I am paying for more time. Waste of time and such a hassle to move something so big. read more

Horrible install service people! I paid for kitchen backsplash and install through my local Lowe's in Bismarck North Dakota. The installers did a terrible job and Lowe's install services known as Servicepro, agreed to have it redone. They then said I had to have the same inept installers do the work. They made appointments three times and didn't show up! After that, Servicepro told me they were working on finding a different installer. Over many months, they said they had someone lined up for the next month, but they didn't. When I called the local Lowe's, the manager told me this wasn't their problem and I had to work with Servicepro. They sold this service at their store, I say it is their problem, but they refuse to do anything about it. Eventually after many months, the Servicepro installer manager refused to answer my texts. The local Lowe's store directed me to Lowe's national. They agreed the whole thing had been a total mess and they would try to find a new installer. They did the same as Service pro, they would say they hoped to have an installer by next month. After months, they offered to give me a refund and not redo the install. To add insult, in order to receive the refund, I am expected to sign a waiver stating I will not talk to anybody or use social media to discuss this terrible experience! Do not use Lowe's, they have inept people and do not stand behind their work. read more

Excellent customer service both times I've been in this store. Every employee I would see in the store would stop and ask if I needed any assistance-very helpful. They also were very knowledgeable about certain products I was shopping for, especially items for a home remodel. I did have to return a product to the store that did not work the way I needed it to, and that was a very simple process. Overall they have very good products and knowledgeable employees that provided excellent customer service. I will definitely be going back. read more

I just had an experience trying to get help to purchase a lawnmower. The one I decided to purchase was the floor model. Three employees and an hour later the missing battery and manual was found. Customer service was lacking and I was made to feel that I was a big bother to the sales staff. I will not be back. read more

I can hardly give this place one star. Their customer service is worse then the airlines. They have so many people working that don't know anything. Spent 5 hours trying to purchase 8 ft of cabinets. Not a good experience. This place needs some managers on the floor to direct the people that don't know shit. I work in the const industry and I know how important customer service is. Normally I like shopping here, however we recently went here for our kitchen renovation. Was told our dishwasher would be there in a week and our countertops upwards of 3 weeks. Countertops arrived and still no dishwasher. Then we got told it would be another 7-10 days til it arrived. That same day we get told by a manager that it arrived the night before. 3 days later we go to pick it up and the store manager informs us it never actually arrived and we were lied to by this other manager. Not impressed with them at this point. Thankfully the store manager rectified the situation by getting us a dishwasher from the store that day at the price we paid for the one we ordered. The cost to repair the damages that the installers did to our home were almost as much as the entire cost of the job. Ridiculous. I ordered a washer and dryer online, to be delivered by this store on May 30. It doesn't show, and no one calls. We contact them the 31st, and they have no idea where the units are. I go and talk to them June 1st, and they say they just got the units. We rescheduled delivery to June 4. They call June 4 to tell us it will be here late afternoon. No one shows, no one calls. $1900 worth of merchandise. Ridiculous. We still don't have them. read more

I recently was in the store for appliances & talked with Steve. He was awesome. Very patient, very friendly & took all the time in the world to answer my questions & explained the products to me. Unfortunately when I went back to order he wasn't in :-(. I decided to order them right away because the gal said it is taking longer to get stuff because of the hurricane's. My microwave went out & I'm without one until it comes in. My refrigerator still works. I told the gal I was working with Steve & she said she could help me with the purchase so I am hoping he will get the credit for the purchase. It's only right. Everytime I have gone into Lowe's so far, I've been helped quickly. It could be due to the fact that I have two kids in one of those giant kids carts and they have no choice to help because they can't get around me.... Anyway, I've had a guy pick out all my light bulbs for me, I've had a lady take me across the store to the exact location where the item I needed was, I've had a guy take my paint order in another part of the store so it would be ready when I got to the paint section! Great service in my opinion! The reason I gave it four stars was because everytime my husband has gone in, he's been very disappointed with the bad service. He's mainly gone into the wood/building section. Maybe he should bring the kids with him next time.... read more

A family member bought an appliance and scheduled delivery for today. We scheduled the first block of the day, from 8 a.m. to noon. It's now 6:00 p.m. and they still aren't here. Tried to call the store multiple times, and no one picked up. We wasted an entire day and still don't have the refrigerator. This store is a joke. does not even deserve one star; I don't know where to start, I am so disappointed. I purchased carpet for 2 rooms/hall. I had my measurements with me when I went to the store; but they wouldn't take my measurements, had to send someone to measure and check floor...@ $200 mileage. well I have over 7' of one 12' carpet left and 2 1/2' of the other carpet left!!!! think I measured better than that! the intaller was very rude to everyone; had a very bad attitude. Installation department wouldn't answer my calls. Installer never had a vacuum cleaner along; used mine for one room and never even cleaned the other room. another $200 mileage charge....yup they have 'free' installation! NEVER GO THERE AGAIN; and wouldn't have went there if Home Depot was still in town. read more

Terrible! Tried to buy carpet, there was so much miscommunication between the carpet department and the installers that we couldn't even get past the bid process. They put too much square footage in the estimate, along with charging us for a padding upgrade that was advertise for free. Never again Lowe's. read more
