Ignore reviews from people who don't belong in Lowe's. Lowe's Bluefield is excellent. Contractors, handymen and I don't want to pay for an employee in every aisle to teach you how to fix your shower. If you can't figure out how to purchase online and pick it up, leave a review for yourself. If you don't understand the difference between unplugging your old dishwasher, disconnecting the fresh and waste water lines, then hooking up the new dishwasher, vs installing fresh and waste water lines and an electric outlet, leave a review for yourself. The manufacturer accurately gives the size of their refrigerators. If you can't measure your refrigerator properly and order from the online description, then giving Ronnie your incorrect measurements won't help. Leave a review for yourself. If every time you have been to Lowe's for the simplest of things it takes 2 hours, it's you. If you don't have a water source, your refrigerators ice cube maker will not work. Leave a review for yourself. An empty Lowe's needs to charge a little more than a packed Lowe's because you are the one paying for the building. If they close Bluefield, you're driving to Blacksburg for cement anyway, so what's the beef? If the electrical guy is busy with a customer who arrived before you, you may need to wait. We had lowes put down carpet a few months ago. I posted a review about the terrible experience. Now where the carpet meets the kitchen floor where they put the strip down it has pushed the kitchen flooring back and has bucked the floor. Lowes is trying to say the floor was already like that because the kitchen floor is not glued down. Someone called several days ago and said they will fix it. Haven't heard anything else and can't get anyone to answer phone at bluefield lowes. It has been a terrible experience and will never use lowes again. They know the installer did this and r lying to cover it up. If there was a o rating yhat is what lowes in bluefield deserves. Not nice people and don't want to fix their mistakes. I think this place could be called Adults R Us. My husbands favorite shopping venue. The store has all things home improvement and the inventory and staff to assist you are plentiful. From home improvement items - bathroom to kitchen to all things outdoors they have what you need. From Tile to carpet to flowers and shrubs this the place to go. The staff are helpful and the prices affordable. Lowes is where it's at! read more

We paid for fencing installation on February 1, 2024 and signed the contract end of January 2024. Since then there have been 4 different contractors involved. We were given a start date of the second week of March 2024. As of may 1, 2024 we haven't received fencing materials, fencing installation or actually been given a date that a fence will be installed. We have called the corporate customer service number, installation support, the sales person, multiple contractor companies, the store delivery dept and asked for a callback from the store manager. We haven't received a callback from anyone that can help with cancelling our order. I did receive a simple text from the sales person saying we have to give up 20 percent for product restocking (even though we haven't received anything). Next step is contacting an attorney and going through further social media channels if I can't get resolution. This is not the way to treat a good customer. read more

I normally don't complain at all, but l was in the Lowes in Bluefield and needed Something from the electrical department. I walked over to flooring dept. There were 3 men sitting there that worked for Lowes. I asked if anyone was working in the electrical dept and they said l think he is on a piece of equipment. All 3 walked over to were the employee was at and stood there for another 5 minutes. None of the men offer to help me at all while the electrical dept person was business. I had a simple questions. 2 of them walked by me again and just looked down the aisle. I ended up leaving. Very bad customer service. read more

His name was Zach I think, I believe a promotion is in this kid's future, he really helped me when purchasing and had an extensive amount of knowledge on the subject. I purchase many things here, but this Lowes really rips you off! I paid more than $6.00 less for a bag of Quikcrete product at Home Depot in Blacksburg today. Adds up when you buy a lot of bags. Insulation is cheaper at Home Depot. black cast iron pipe us cheaper. This store jacks up prices intentionally due to no competition. And they refuse to price match stores out of the area, even other lowes. You rarely can find someone to wait on you in this store. Selection is poor compared to other stores. I bought an LG refrigerator in July took the 3 yr extended warranty and the ice maker does not work since day 1. I've called Lowes and LG to only to be hung upon by appliance manager "Vicky" or told somebody would be calling me to set up a time to come check it. I'm still waiting on that call by the way. Lowes has no customer service and will NOT keep there warranty in good standing. I've spent about 15000 in the last few months at Lowes and I see clearly the appreciation. When I start my next renovation to my home I will gladly drive to Home Depot since they do have customer service manners for the people that have spent money in their store. As for Lowes they need to send their manager "Vicky" back to whatever hole she crawled out of and get some managers that aim to please and do whats right for the customers.
