Well lets start with my French doors, The woman that came to measure did incorrect measure, she included the moldings in the measurement and I was charged for a custom install when it was a standard install. 2. I bought a screen door and a entry way door using the the Lowes credit card and the same woman told me it would be 7.99 interest, well I was charged a 31.99% interest. Then the installer for Lowes is East Coast Mill Work , they no showed 4 appts . with no calls to reschedule.no call, nothing. I cancelled install after all the BS I put up with. I tried to get someone, anyone, to help me in the Kitchen department. I had a list of cabinets I needed and I just wanted someone to take the list and get back to me with a quote. The department was completely empty, as were the appliance department and the flooring department. I went to the front of the store and asked the young lady watching the self service register to page someone. Back to the kitchen department and waited. No one ever came. From there I went to the garden center to get what I needed there. Had to interrupt a very important chat between two workers about their weekend plans and got a really rude reply as to where what I needed was. I went to where she directed me and it was not there. I then gave up and left. What a dissapointment!! I used to love Lowes, but never again with the Brewer location. read more

We purchased wood from Loews in Brewer (over $1,000). Bangor said they wouldn't deliver to Greenville Junction. Delivery was scheduled for Monday June 23. We waited all day, with no call, called around 3 only to find out there was a mechanical failure. Delivery rescheduled to Thursday. No call or email - not a word. Today I received an email confirming delivery while my partner received a call saying delivery wasn't possible. The third party decided we were too far. There was no mechanical failure with the truck Monday. That was a lie. So the order was cancelled and now we have to figure out where to get this. I will say after how we were treated I will not shop at Loews again. I put in an online order and they put a hold on 2200 on my debit card. Then three hours later Lowe's cancelled my order. I asked the store what the issue was and the first red vest told me my financial institution had flagged it as fraud. I called bangor savings bank and they said it was authorized and they had not flagged it. So the second red vest in brewer lowes said that it was their system that flagged it. I asked why the first women told me that and she said she didn't know and that woman had went home for the day. It was 830 I'm the morning. So I called the corporate customer service. They said it was a "code 99" which means an employee at the store flagged it. It's pretty obvious to me that some lazy fullfillment worker thought 7 oclock at night was too late to fill an order and they did that code 99 so they could gossip in the break room the rest of their shift instead of working. Meanwhile I've gotta wait 5 to 10 days to get the pending transaction to drop and have my 2200 in funds available again read more

I was just at Lowe's in Brewer and I was approached By Megan H in the garden section, she immediately asked me if I needed anything and what I was working on! I ended up having a great conversation with her and she got me everything I had asked quickly while maintaining a good conversation about the soil I wanted to purchase. I was able to not spend a fortune but got all my items for a good value. Megan even offered to bring my cart to my vehicle and help load the items into my car, I knew I was going to need help but she offered without me having to ask. DO NOT HAVE THE BREWER LOWES INSTALL ANYTHING! Our kitchen cabinet install started in May 2024, and it's still not finished as of December 5. They outsource the install to a contractor, who then subcontracts to others so there is absolutely no accountability. Every time we try to contact the Brewer Lowe's, they redirect us to an 800 number, which has been zero help. I can't overstate how upsetting this has been. read more

came to buy 4 sheets of plywood. i was asked to leave the isle. i said I need 4 sheets of plywood. I was gated out of the isle, keep in mind I only needed 4 sheets of plywood. I asked if they could get my 4 sheets they said you will have to wait. i asked how long they would be. I was told they were restocking and it would be over an hour! Now I have NO washer or dryer and was told to call customer service. A JOKE!!! They DO NOT answer the phone. I was cut off once and then put on hold again. well here's my update, my tractor now has 12 hours on it and it broke again today...that's the second one after the nightmare above. Craftsman was once a great American name and now it's been destroyed by greed and shopped out overseas...I wont buy anything again from Craftsman (I am 61 years old, have lived by Craftsman for years, but never again)...what a horrible experience this has been and what horrible service I have received after spending this much money...all I can say is I wont do Craftsman or Lowes anymore. Extremely disappointed with my recent customer service experience with the Brewer Lowe's. I purchased a brand new LG washing machine and it was delivered within two days. This I was very please about. What I was not please with was the fact that it arrived with a damaged front panel, rendering the power button absolutely useless. I was disappointed, but they promised me a brand new replacement within the next week, so I was satisfied. However, once the day came that they were going to deliver my new unit, the quality of their customer service absolutely went down the drain. They called me the day before and told me that I could expect my new washer between 10am-1pm. I wake up early on my day off, expecting them to arrive at any point in that three hour window. Once 1:30pm rolls around, still no washer and no phone call to explain the delay, I call the store only to be told "you're the next delivery on the list, but we will contact the truck and have them give you a call with a better estimate of time". Come 2pm with no washer and no phone call, I call back again and am told the same thing. Finally come 2:30pm I call the store and speak with a manager. He said he would have the truck drivers give me a call and let me know the timeframe I was looking at for delivery. Then, I get a phone call from the delivery driver telling me that the truck is on its way to Corinth to drop off another appliance, then they will be heading out my way to Hampden to drop me off my washer. They estimated arriving around 3:30pm. After being told "between 10-1", staying home my entire day off to be home to receive the delivery, then being told "actually, probably more like 3:30", I can say I am 100% dissatisfied with the delivery service that Lowe's provides. I would have been better off borrowing a friend's trailer and transporting the washer myself. I would have avoided all of this hassle, wasted time, and disappointment in what is meant to be a convenient service. Now I have lost a very valuable day off waiting for these morons, with no explanation of where the system fell apart, and no compensation for all of the time I have lost today. So thank you, Brewer Lowe's, for ensuring that this customer will never be recommending your store to anyone in the future looking for new appliances. I will be cross-posting this review to every site imaginable to guarantee that others are fully educated about the inevitable disappointment they will face if they choose to shop at Lowe's. I placed an order for a zero turn lawn mower on July 23, 2023. On August 2, I received a call telling me delivery is to be expected August 3, between 9:00 and 12:00. I took that day off work and waited until 3:00 and called the Lowe's in Brewer, ME. I spoke to customer service and asked if she had information about my delivery. I was told delivery is to be expected between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm on this day. When I explained that my delivery time was between 9:00 and 12:00 not between 8:00 and 8:00, the employee told me her screen read between 8:00 and 8:00. 8:00 pm and no lawn mower and no phone call. On August 4, at 7:00am, I called Lowe's store in Brewer again and asked to speak with the manager. The "manager" took all my information and assured me she would call me back or the delivery manager would call me back. I called Lowe's corporate office about noon since I still have not received any calls. Corporate told me they would have someone call me in 24 hours and that it looked like there was a shipping issue. I called the Brewer store again and asked to speak with the store manager and was told he was in a meeting. I gave my name and contact info and asked for a return call. After 2 hours, I called back and asked for the manager again. Still in a meeting. Again, I gave my name and contact information and asked for a return call. Nearing 6:00 pm, still no phone call from anyone and no lawn mower. Where is Lowe's transparency and do they actually have a "customer service" department? I am willing to adjust my star rating if the store manager would return my call and be transparent. I lost a full day of pay. read more

I purchased a lawn aerator for 127.00 from lowes online and picked it up at the brewer lowes. The day I picked up the product lowes reduced the price from $127.00 to $67.00. I called the store who told me they wouldn't adjust the price and I needed to call online customer service. I called lowes online who told me that they stopped doing price guarantees "the day before" and they refused to adjust the price. They told me to return the product for a full refund then repurchase it for the reduced price. I've shopped exclusively at Lowe's since 1998 but this horrible customer service has resulted in lowes loosing this customer of 22 years. Home Depot takes care of veterans do that is now where I will get all of my building materials. read more

Not impressed with their recent turnaround time on home renovations. Communication has been lackluster, and they can't seem to keep a plumber long enough to see through a project. Some serious customer service would go a long way on this one. Last summer I had Lowe's put a new set of stairs and a porch on the front of my house. On the back I had a composite deck put on. The whole project cost over $13,000.00. They sent a contractor named Keeland to do the job. When he was done there was some left over 2x10's and I think some 2x12's and he said I would have to take them back myself. No easy job when your in your 70's and had two open heart surgery and radiation and chemo for cancer, but anyway. He left the railing posts way too high and they looked terrible. When I tried to get him to come back and fix them, I called and called and wrote e-mails to the project manager. After about a month (I only live 20 minutes from the store) Keeland informed me that he was waiting until he had a job in this area. One of the railing post was probably 7' high as I have a clothes line attached so my wife could stand on the deck and hang clothes. This is how it was on my old deck. The post is starting to lean toward the tree where the other end is attached and also causing a smaller railing post to lean. If not corrected the whole railing system will probably just break off. I have been contacting everyone at Lowe's in Brewer since MAY and no one responds. I talked to the project manager in Brewer (Kelly) and the women who came down and estimated the job (Valerie) to no avail. Kelly told me that she had even notified the Store Manager of my issues and still nothing is being done. Kelly also informed me that the story I was telling her is not the same as Keeland is telling. Basically this contractor has all the say at Lowe's and is allowed to not honor the guarantee. He basically has called my wife and I a lie by saying there wasn't a clothes line there on the old porch and that he told us not to put it there, but we insisted. I have even contacted the Home Office of Lowe's and nobody has the courtesy of getting back to me.
