I will never go back after tonight. Assistant Store Manager would not honor a price tagged on a Dyson vacuum and even had an employee remove it in front of us like it was never there. He then told us he didn't care whether it said it was the display on sale or a boxed one. I'm sure you can probably get cheaper prices if you shop around, but there is something to be said about having a place where you can grab everything in one shot. The employees are extremely friendly and unlike some other hardware places, you can find someone to assist you when you can't find what you are looking for. The store is extremely clean and has had everything that I've required thus far. I've been pleased with their delivery services when purchasing appliances and I think they run sales on a fairly regular basis so prices are competitive. Updated Review: Two weeks ago: I went to purchase a new washer and dryer on a Tuesday. The appliance guy was nice but not knowledgeable. He had two sets on stock (one company on white and one company in red). He said both were in stock and could be delivered by Thursday (two days away). This was great since my dryer was out. I was told to go to a register for a cashier to look it up and I could pay. I stood at the only open register for several minutes while the cashier continued her personal conversation. Finally the self check out lady came to help me. Thursday no one showed up. I called the store and was told by the delivery department that they had me scheduled for the following week. She also stated the washer was not in stock and possibly would not be in stock to be delivered. I was then transferred to the appliance department where I was told that I could come pick up my dryer but my best option would really. E to come pick out a different set. Tonight I went to purchase the paint that offered the rebate. At check out, I was informed that I didn't buy/choose the exact paint option that offered the rebate so I didn't qualify. read more

I should have read the reviews before going to this store. It appears management doesn't care about the customers at all. I went to the store on January 3, 2016 and at 11 AM I was ready to checkout. I had about $200 worth of merchandise so I went to the one and only checkout lane that had a real person checking people out. I should note they have several "self-checkout" lanes available but I have never had any luck getting those things to work. So I was number three in the checkout lane. After waiting several minutes without any movement, I began to pay closer attention to the cashier. She appeared to be in an almost catatonic state. She was staring at her register as if she was watching a movie. She did not appear to be moving or doing anything. After waiting another five minutes, I left my cart and went to a nearby Home Depot where I was able to purchase most of what I needed. I hope the Lowe's cashier got the medical attention she needed. I would hate to think that she was just incompetent. read more

We decided to purchase all of our kitchen appliances due to staff friendliness and helpfulness. They did the best they could do being as busy as they were. We got excellent prices on LG Refer, Stove, and Micro as well as Kitchenaid Dishwasher. Items were delivered by two very nice employees who were very careful with the appliances. I failed to pick up my hoses and cords that were needed and the guys installed them anyway. I went the next day and paid for them. So very nice. It was so appreciated too. I had to order the dishwasher due to it being Black Stainless and it was a non stocked item. I was sent a regular stainless by mistake. I had already removed my old dishwasher and had it sold on Craigslist. When I called about the mistake, I asked what they had in stock in Black Stainless. I was told to go ahead and use the one I had until they could get me the correct one. About two weeks later they called and set a delivery up. They picked up the one I used and delivered the one I ordered. How awesome is that! Love the good people at Daphne Lowe's and do all my shopping there when I can. read more

I went in early for a box of cat-6 cables for a project. The only one there was an open box. I asked the employee if there's any way to find out if there were any taken out before I spend $90 on it. He said nope, it's as is. It's a 500ft roll but when the box is mangled, I become hesitant to purchase. I ask him, if there's anything they can do far as dropping the price. He tells me he can't but a manager might be able to. Manager comes a few minutes later looking like I've inconvenienced him and I knew he already made up his mind. "Nope, I can't drop the price." He says. So, I left and called corporate office and asked about their policy on open box items. They said that it's up to the stores and managers if they're willing to lower the price. So, I guess he could have done something but I just drove over to Home Depot and purchased the same roll of cat-6 from them. Good job, managers at lowes for losing a customer that bought most of our housing appliances from them over the years. read more

I live very close to the Lowes in Malbis area and shop there a lot. I find the store clean and bright and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. Some t.imes I just wander in for inspiration and some times in a panic with a huge problem I have always left happy that I came. read more

After buying tile from the Lowe's store in Daphne, AL in June, we will never purchase anything else from them. We were told if the same item number was purchased, the tiles would match but they don't. The color difference wasn't noticeable until it was installed on a fireplace wall. Now we have a horrible looking fireplace. After contacting customer service several times since June, I received news that Lowe's will not do anything to make the mismatched tile right. When customer service called to tell me that nothing would be done, I literally had no words. It is unbelievable that a company would treat a loyal customer this way. We are now having the tile removed from our fireplace and replaced with nice quality tile that matches from a reputable tile store. We've been looking at this mismatched tile since the end of June when it was installed but I can't live with it. I contacted Lowe's the week after it was installed but they don't stand behind their products. What a hard lesson to learn but we would never purchase tile or a big ticket item from Lowe's again. What an expensive lesson to learn! It's just such a shame because prior to this I would have chosen Lowe's over other stores. read more
