Once it seems not so long ago there was once a thing actually called customer service. When it is 17+ miles to drive to Lowes, you call ahead to verify if they have what you are looking for,when you are told they have it, yet when you get there ,they do not, it would have taken only a minute or two to check the computer to verify, if it was available. One of the best places to buy what you need for your projects with reasonable prices and help when you need it, most of the time. Lowe's has always been a favorite for the convenience of finding in stock the tools, hardware, and lumber needed under a single roof. This location certainly does. I very much like to see the product when I buy it, so buying online does not thrill me. The smell of the lumber and all the new tools in front of me gives that work with your hands and create something feeling. Appliances to air conditioners and windows to doors, pick it up and get the project moving. Lowes has the assistance you may need at reasonable rates and guarantees it. One star demerit for lack of onsite personnel to assist with keys. Just cause a place has the new stick one in and let a machine create one that might or might not work right, does not mean a perfectly good key cutting device which requires an operator be left unattended. Finding an associate who knew the differences took some time. Are all businesses forcing us to shop online more? Are they all working skeleton crews which do not provide adequate personnel for the customer? I am unsure. Do not orders windows and have them installed through Lowe's.. We ordered our windows May 21st.. Contractor came out and installed all the windows but 3 because they were the wrong size. After months of trying to call and talk to Jason Graham and Thomas Wingler, I finally get a call back on September 21, 2020 @ 2:00 pm from Thomas Wingler stating they have order the wrong windows again (4th time) and they have finally ordered the right ones this time and they should be in October 15th.. Bought a wind chime with a glass bulb on top and she didn't want to bag it up for us despite it being the most delicate thing we bought this trip. Inventory is severely lacking. Run of the mill products are lacking. Per manager they use multiple inventory systems that don't talk to each other. Employees have almost no knowledge of products or location for that matter. read more

Did it ever occurred to the corporate office that you would do more volume in this town if you actually kept things on the shelves??!! Lowes delivery department is total trash. BILLY from Lowes Enterprise Al. Called to.let me know the night before (lastnight) to expect a phone call for a delivery I've been awaiting for 7 months. Said I'd get a call from 3rd party delivery sometime after 1700/5pm. Phone call never happened. Pulling up to work the delivery guys call me and tell me they will be there first stop. I turned around and went back home. They still have yet to arrive, or anyone answer the phone. Noone called to coordinate with me. I'm a single father and picking up a 43inch double Range is out of the question. So thanks to Lowes and Billy's delivery team, I have wasted a day off sitting around waiting for some professionals to show up. What a joke. And to think David the delivery guy called me this morning informing me he will call me with an update. Well David... I'm still waiting, thanks for wasting 8hours of my day waiting on a professional delivery team contracted by Lowes.... if it were a mom and Pop shop, this never would have been an issue, but large corporations don't give a crap about your time or obligations. Lowes of Enterprise Alabama is only good for what you can Cary out of the store. Otherwise prepare to take a few days off to get your delivery. On several occasions this store has shown the item "in stock , 6 or more available at this store" and I have purchased it on line only to get a text message an hour or so later telling me the item is out of stock. read more

Terrible customer service for follow up. I only needed to cancel an appointment for an installation measurement. Phone lines are not answered in the installation department and I was told they were the only department who could cancel it. Customer Service continually transferred me to the Installation Department and no one would answer. Meanwhile, no one would take a message or take charge to help. They would only say you'll have to call back later. It's not like they are the only store in town or a customer has nothing else to do but call! read more

Pretty much the only full service hardware store in town, and a rather small Lowe's at that. However, usually great service in plumbing, outdoor, or paint where they know me by name! See Sue in paint, she's the bomb! 3 stars because they need to carry more/ enlarge the store. There's 30k people in this town, plus Fort Rucker/Ozark shops here...HINT HINT LOWE's - we Dont like to drive to Dothan (30 mi away). read more

We will find a new place to shop....they use to always apply a military discount when a purchase was made, they have since changed their policy, you must tell them now at the time of purchase that you are military or retired. They never sent a notice of the new procedure. My mother made 2 purchases totaling over 1500.00 and they will not apply the discount unless you take your receipt to the service desk the same day of the purchase and you must have the dd214 for them to apply the discount.. very sad that you must now carry around a dd214 in order to get a discount.... This is sad and I hope all the military persons that shop at Lowes read this review and carry their dd214mb read more

We use the Enterprise Lowe's or the store in Dothan (north) due to the one near us in Troy is pathetic (service/attitude is the worst for any Lowe's-from floor workers to mgrs, and actually having anything). Only con with the Enterprise store (during our visits, anyway) is: employees all over the store, but rare to actually get one to assist you until you corner them and they are forced to help you-in Troy they just disappear, never to return after saying they will check on it for you (must be ex-Wal Mart folks). Paint guy on last visit to Enterprise seemed really irked that he had to help me with locating a certain paint I could not find-only had one other customer and I patiently waited and stayed out of the way searching for the paint while he assisted her. Enterprise Pros: female in area of power washers was very helpful when I was trying to figure out if certain washers were reliable, etc. Ended up buying a power washer there. Dothan North: never had a problem here-our favorite store so far. The female in flooring department was outstanding in her help and her knowledge of the products themselves (her husband is a contractor). Always helps when the employee knows what they are talking about; familiar with items in their department; care about their job, etc-Hint Hint Troy Lowe's. Will be returning to the North Dothan next time. read more

Contracted with Lowes to replace my upstairs AC System and Air Handler with a mid level priced system. When the Contractor to do the installation showed up it was one of the companies that I had gotten a quote from. Actually they had the highest priced quote. The contractor installed the AC unit I contracted for but switched the Air Handler to a low end unit designed for an apartment. The Air Handler was so loud it could be heard downstairs and throughout the entire house. I had another company come and check the system and they said the units did match. They contacted Trane and Trane confirmed the Air Handler was for an apartment (low price end) and not for a single family home the size of my house. I contacted Lowes about the problem and the answer I received was that I would have to get a resolution from Trane or the installer. I contracted with another company to replace the Air Handler. Lowes does not stand behind the contracts. Recommend finding your own contractors and never use Lowes. read more

The Problem: Purchased Valspar paint at Lowes. The anti-microbial, anti-mildew, low VOC type @ $60 per can. The white paint covered 315 sq. ft., while the red left bubbles on the two walls to which it was applied. We had the local Valspar representative come out to determine what problems I was having with their new product. He made the determination that the red paint was contaminated and offered a complete refund. For the white paint, he tried to convince me that 315sq. ft. was within the tolerance rate of use on a can rated up to 400sq. ft. I don't think he convinced the Lowes representative as she was nearly speechless the whole time. Needless to say I was not convinced and told him he would have to tell my husband that to his face. The Valspar representative did not even bother to measure the white painted walls. He accepted my husband's measurements for the sq. ft. I took this as an admission of his lack of conviction in what he was saying. The Valspar representative said that the paint had to be "4 mils thick" on the walls. I asked what that meant in everyday people speak in terms of proper roller density; he could not tell me, nor could the Valspar area or district manager on the phone. The Lowes representative was lost as well. I turned to the Lowes Manager and asked her what could Lowes do for me as I only needed a quart of white to finish the two white walls and touch up a closet. I finally got an offer of a free can of red from the Valspar representative. Bottom line: I am satisfied with Lowes as a store. I am not satisfied with the answers I got from the local Valspar representative. The paint has a lingering vinegary smell; hopefully, by the weekend it should be gone. End result: I got a refund on the red paint with an offer to replace the red gallon. I requested white as the "free/replacement" gallon as I was fairly happy with the paint on paint (not volume) coverage. My husband will spend the next weekend sanding the two bubbly red walls or approximately 150sq. ft. read more
