Extremely disappointing carpet installation experience. The carpet was installed 4 weeks late, and the bulk of the delay was due to a lack of timely communication and follow-up from the store employees (not supply chain issues as Lowe's continues to claim). I had to call the store and the corporate Installation Support Team repeatedly to get updates, and I was lied to and given inaccurate information on several occasions. When the carpet was finally installed, the installers damaged several things in my home and left the house a mess. Excessive carpet fibers and dirty handprints were left all over the house, which took hours to clean up. Two razor blades were left on the floor - a huge safety hazard. Lowe's has been very difficult and frustrating to work with and doesn't seem at all interested in making things right. The 9th circle of hell is buying an appliance from Lowes. If you would like stress, agitation, and don't want to do any laundry for the next 6 months, then go ahead and make your day. Shop at Lowes. Long story short purchased a dryer. Dryer was delivered however could not be installed due to a defect. They left the defective dryer, TOOK MY DRYER and said someone would contact me about getting a new one to me. Did not happen. Have spoken to people at various levels at local store and distribution customer service. I am told "I'm sending an email someone will contact you in a couple hours..." Which never happens. Also if you enjoy hours of hold music, buy an appliance from Lowes. If you want to have an excuse to not do laundry, buy a washer or dryer from Lowes. We have been good Lowe's customers. We bought flooring for $16K and counter tops for $8K this year. We also bought Levelor blinds for $2700 in February. It is now July. The decals on the headers were creased and bubbled. They looked like they had been applied by a third grade art class. Both Lowe's and the installer agree that they are defective. So, you think they would make it right. Not so fast. They have been waiting for several weeks for some kind of approval from Levelor. My contract was with Lowe's not Levelor. So after almost six months, we still don't have blinds and we don't have our money back. In all fairness, we bought quartz counter tops and had no issues whatsoever. Since Lowe's obviously won't stand behind their products if there is an issue, I would give them zero stars if I could. BTW, the store manager is not worth wasting your time with. If you have issues, go right to Lowe's corporate. read more

I am a very unhappy customer right now and feeling ripped off! My new stove, purchased the weekend before Memorial Day, 2019, was to be delivered today. Some one called to say they were on their way hours ago. I am still waiting! I tried calling the store: NO ANSWER! You have my money and I have no new stove! The store is organized, neat, and clean. Pretty easy to find whatever widget you may be seeking. Good selection of "stuff", friendly employees. Comparable prices to the other big box home repair store in town. Since I tend to be a Lowes shopper at home, I gravitate towards Lowes over the competition even when I'm away from home and doing home repair with family. The associate working in the appliances on the day of my most recent visit was very happy to talk to me about the new dishwashers even though he understood I am not ready to purchase. I had the worst possible experience with this location. Everyone seems really nice but when it came to buying my stackable washer and dryer I had nothing but problems....We had a hard time finding locations with appliances in stock due to covid so when I found out Lowe's had a set in stock I was excited to get it moved in right away. I spent a very long time waiting to be helped and to put in the order but I was just glad he was thorough and double checked it was in the back before selling it to me. I had to move the delivery time from Friday to the following Tuesday but on Monday I found out they had sold my washer. The washer I already paid for. I was told they weren't going to be able to get a shipment in until the end of the month but after complaining to a manager she was able to have one special delivered from Toledo setting my installation date back until Wednesday. On Wednesday, the installers discovered I had not purchased a stacking kit. Which I repeated multiple times when buying the appliances. So when I went to complain to another manager, in store, they were happy to send me on my way with a stacking kit and a new installation appointment for Thursday. On Thursday, the installers discovered the stacking kit was not a proper fit for the washer I had. I don't know if they shipped another model than the one I bought so when the manager looked at the receipt she gave me the kit for the washer I originally bought (that got sold to someone else) or if I just have awful luck. Currently I am still waiting for a solution as I have not got a call back. But I'm hoping they set me up with yet another appointment with the installers where they will send the correct stacking kit and pick up the other one. read more

This place is a joke! Lowe's sells return items With missing parts. How about you check returned items if they are complete before you put them back in the shelf. Now I have to uninstall a pair of lamps because one box is missing the bottom screw. The box was already opened before but I bought it because it was the last box in the shelf. Ordered a zero turn lawn mower; delivery date provided 9/15/18, contacted changed to 9/19/18; contacted again changed to 9/21/18; called me the day to be deliver to change the delivery date yet AGAIN! To 9/24/18; Told I would receive a 10% discount once the lawn mower was delivered because of the multiple changes to delivery. On 9/24/18 I was called a 5th time to change the delivery date to 9/25/18 because they did t have a delivery truck available. Zero turn was delivered 9/25/18, with DAMAGES!! Missing a key and no manual.... Of course Findlay, OH Lowe's will not honor their 10% after everything was said and done. I will NEVER buy large items again through Lowe's. read more

Lowes is nice if you want good brand name tools and appliances since sears closed down. Valspar paint is the only reason I ever go to lowes. Their selection and variety of products is very limited for a store that has a distribution center down the road. The indoor lumber yard just takes more time unless you enjoy carting around lumber on a flat bed cart or wait for them to bring it to you. I waited outside for 20 min for a picnic table kit to be brought to me. The parking is terrible unless your handicapped. Overall I can't say a whole lot of good things about lowes their prices are high and their selection and variety are low. read more

We were their and there were 2 registers open, all of the self check outs were closed and their were 10 people in each line. And the manager! This nice cashier kept calling the manager and the person would not show up. There was a man that needed a manager override and the manager never came. There was a nice young lady who had one item and had to wait 20 min because the self checkouts were all closed! read more

I was at Lowes in Findlay, Ohio today, when I went to check out the only lanes that were open were the self checkout. The first item was a piece of rebar with no code for pricing. So one of the girls said she would look it up for me, after a couple minutes an other girl started looking it up also, but was having a hard time finding it. So I told her to forget it, and went to Menards to get what I needed. I also had several other things totaling about $35.00. We have bought many things from Lowe's over the past many years, but never found no one at the checkout. if this the wave of the future I think you will loose a lot of customers. read more
