It was terrible. Unable to use washing machine which was installed yesterday It is unlevel at least half inch and knocks and vibrates when spinning. The most frustrating issue was speaking to someone at Lowe's who cares. Offered to send more people from St Louis to reinstall..from the same company. I refused to use that company again! I was told when I paid for that it would be delivered and installed. People I spoke to at Lowe's were flippant and non caring. They kept asking what could they do? I said send a local repairman who knows what he's doing. They said that was not their policy I'm hiring my own installer but will never do business with Lowe's again read more

I have an in store credit from a past return. Which is fine it's as good as cash for sure purchases, they fail to tell you that you have to be the one to use it or it's no good. So don't let wife or husband return something for you then on your next trip try to use the credit without them with you cause it won't work. What a joke! Bought three special order entry doors October 2022. Lowes was to have their subcontractor install them. Install was supposed to be in December but they did not order brick mold. Once brick mold came in installers came out for second time to install but discovered Lowes had ordered two right hand doors. Now it's February 22nd and still no doors. Was told the wrong replacement door could not be rushed. No apology from the store and no management involvement. The project manager who initially came out to meet us to measure has ghosted me. Just terrible overall service. Decided to cancel the install portion and have someone else install them when they finally arrive at the store. Will never buy an install or special order product from Lowe's Forsyth again. Extremely frustrated as a customer. Buyer beware! read more

Lowe's is pathetic. Read what this company did to young man's in Decatur, IL: Tomorrow Would have been my Year at Lowe's. In 11 months, I managed to become Cashier of The Month 4 times back to back. I got my own parking spot. I've gotten the store a lot of credit Apps. I've worked and worked and worked even in the passing of my Aunt. I took everyone's shift even when I didn't have to. I used to stay over while other's got to live their life. I have managed to sing at 23 funerals and still go to work and do my BEST well.... Today they fired me because of 37 cents that was taken off of my register. "Free Change" 37 cents that was put back into the store. Out of everything I've provided 37 cents ended this Dream. This is the worst customer service I have ever had. $1,000 for a range that doesn't work after 30 days. They would only take care of the issue if we used their credit card and we didn't. They want us to contact Whirlpool instead. They also delayed our delivery 3 times without calling us. Tried calling the store several times and no one answers the phone at customer service. Do not order cabinets from this location!! Very unhappy with management at this store. I special ordered cabinets, cabinets, when they arrived, they were the wrong color. Contacted my sales person at the Forsyth Lowes. He was very friendly and apologized and told me he was going to do everything he could to get this taken care of. After 3 weeks with no resolution. Lowes blaming the cabinet company (cabinet works) and Cabinetworks blaming Lowes. I reached out to salesperson again and he kindly stated I needed to address this issue with management now. I reached out to management through email after 4 days and no response I finally called and spoke with a department manager who was very rude. Never apologized, said they would reorder but "had no idea if they could be rushed". Reached out to the store manager through email and nothing! I received an email from my salesperson with a copy of the reorder. Now waiting another 3 months for delivery. Poor customer service. Go to another Lowes!! read more

Shopping for a grill in the Decatur area and decided that Lowe's could probably help me choose the best one. Excellent customer care on the front end but the after-care for assembly and delivery was AWFUL. First we were told that the third party that would assemble and deliver it, didn't pick it up. Then I got a call a few days later and was told that they had damaged my grill and would issue a refund. I called the store, spoke with a manager and reordered the grill and scheduled the delivery. I received a confirmation the night before that gave me a 4 hour window. So we waited... after the window expired, I called the store again and was told that the assembly team didn't pick it up AGAIN. I spoke with a manager and cancelled the order. Done with Lowe's - too many other options to deal with repeated issues. They need to have their own employees do the assembly and delivery - their third party company is the worst. read more

I ordered new washer and dryer to be delivered on a Thursday. After the delivery guys hooked them up (and poorly I might add). My husband had to redo. Washer and dryer both had scratches on them. I'm sure it was when delivery men brought them through the door. I called Lowes who told me I had to talk to delivery . I was told someone would get in touch with me in 24 hrs but since that would be on Friday I probably wouldn't receive my replacement till next week sometime. I was not happy and called Lowe's manager. I got absolutely nowhere. She said she would put me in touch with store manager but he obviously didn't want to talk with me because she transferred me to delivery again. They said they would give me 10% off should I decide to keep them. 10%?!! But I took it because I had to do laundry. 2 years ago I ordered kitchen appliances and had nothing but trouble. Why oh why did I think things would be different? I swear I will NEVER make a major purchase there again!! read more

Their newly-adopted return policy doesn't allow for returns after 90 days, whether you have the receipt or not. I was attempting to return a vent that cost about 20 bucks, I didn't have my receipt and anticipated they would simply offer store credit (as do their competitors). The records didn't show in their system because I paid cash. I have literally spent thousands with Lowe's with several recent, large remodeling projects. I will no longer do business with this company, they have lost a customer. read more

1st and last visit. Went looking for garbage container. Finally found staff to ask where to look, interrupting 3 socializing. Could have used some help getting large container free and was passes by 2 staff-no offers. The check out person was engaged in conversation with a friend during the entire transaction.
