The girl with pink hair checking people out at the register on 5/272023 needs more training. She didn't bag a single item. I asked her if the customer always bags their items after she scans them and she replied yes because she has to squeeze the trigger on the scanner. Scan and place item in bag. How difficult is that? Curb Side Pickup. Not a bad experience with Lowe's curb side today but you could tell the person they had running it had no clue what they were doing. LOL. They have 6 parking spots right up front in the middle of the lot designated for curb side. You have to call the number on the sign when you arrive. You're supposed to show ID and your order number but I was never asked for either. New worker or new to that department maybe? Idk...Took them a while to answer the phone, then another good while for him to find my order in their system. Then another 10 or so minutes to get to the car with the 1 pipe I ordered. He was super friendly though and did his best so that's all that mattered. I wouldn't mind ordering with curb side pickup again. read more

We recently sold my home and moved to my husband's house in Kentucky. We had already received an estimate from the Lowe's in Madison and went to the one in Franklin, KY to buy the appliances. ALL the appliances. Initially, we were greeted by a young man who took the estimate and, I assumed, went to order our appliances. He never came back. However, Charles - a very helpful, knowledgeable and sweet young man offered to help us. He even had our estimate in his hand...weird! He put in our order, got us a quick delivery date and wheeled out the microwave we bought and put it in the truck for me. I inquired about a whole kitchen they had displayed and he knew everything about it! He wasn't trying to sell me anything or pushy at all. He just gave me some options and spent some time explaining them. Really nice guy. It was a great buying experience. Now I hope the delivery goes off without a hitch! read more

Lowe's is crap. That pretty much sums it up. I've had a lot of horrid experiences at different Lowe's locations so I can only assume it's an across the board problem but this particular Franklin location provided the worst experience I've yet had. Which is sad because one of the only decent experiences I've had at a Lowe's was also at this location a couple of years ago--but they wiped that out with their recent (2019) service. So--we needed an oven. Simple issue, right? Lowe's has them and presumably wants to sell them. So we go in and let them know we want to purchase an oven. Our current oven is a built in wall unit so whatever we buy will have to be measured to fit. Lowe's informs us that they have to measure it using their guys before we can order and pay for an oven. Okay, cool. So we agree, they tell us they'll call to arrange a date to have their contracted company (they don't do it themselves; but they insist you use their contact) stop by and measure the space. We wait a few days, call in and check. They eventually get back with us and book a day. No one shows. We let them know we want to reschedule. They say they will call. We call back a week later and they've forgotten to request a reschedule. They offer no apology but do finally schedule someone (again). Cut ahead a bit--it takes 3 weeks or so to get someone out to measure the space. We have to drive in an hour to meet these folks as we've moved out of the house by this point but need to replace this oven as part of the sale of the house. Time is kind of a point of importance now. They measure. We order an oven. We're given a range of dates in which it will arrive. When my wife calls to check on it she is always rudely cut off. "It will get here when it gets here" they tell her. She calls back the day after the last day in the range of dates on which it was said to arrive. It's not there. They tell her it will be there at some point, they are unconcerned. We have already paid for the oven at this point. "Will you call me when it arrives so I can schedule installation?" Yes, they say. She checks back in a week. It had arrived 3 days before they say but they had forgot to call. We schedule installation for another week later. The only bright spot of this debacle is that the installation person showed up when he was scheduled to and did a good job. He said typically he both measures and installs but that another company (chosen by Lowe's) had handled measurements at this time. So, I don't know--shouldn't a company like Lowe's have tracking numbers, shipping confirmation, a clear idea of when something will arrive? Can they expedite shipments? Can they apologize when something goes wrong just to assuage the customer? Can they offer some sort or rebate when it takes 6+ weeks to install an oven? I'm done with this and all Lowe's if I can help it. Ace has friendly and more knowledgeable staff for the smaller jobs and I'll try Home Depot for the other stuff. read more

Called for curbside and no one answered. Called customer service and were told the curbside person was working a register but they would get the order right out. 25 minutes later we went inside to find they still hadn't brought the item up front. Meanwhile, several employees were wandering in and out of the store doing nothing!! read more

What has happened to customer service? And employee training? What should have taken 5 minutes just took me 40. System failures, sloth like employees, employees that one finger type information into a system. Multiple errors, have to re-key. Really inefficient processes. And customer service phone skills are even worse. Transferred to multiple ppl and finally had an associate just tell me to call after 2p "because that when the lady that handles the blinds comes in". Does anyone cross train in this organization? On-boarding good staff is difficult, I get it! But this is a customer service driven business! Goodness, get it together Lowe's! read more

Hands down THE WORST buying, ordering, purchasing, delivering experience I have ever had! Some new guy and a girl named Paige in appliances totally screwed up my appliance package for my new home. They told me all appliances, with the exception of the microwave (on back-order), would be delivered three days later. I wait at home all day long... nobody calls or shows. When I call the delivery dept, they tell me my order is not scheduled to be delivered for another 2 weeks!!! Then I call 3 weeks later to check on my microwave, that was supposed to be in in a week, only to find out that it was never even put on my Lowe's card as a transaction, nor ordered to come to the store! But those weren't the only problems... Checking out, their computer system had a glitch and did not have the financing option I wanted. Luckily that got fixed a week later. And the lady had no idea what she was doing. I was at check out for OVER AN HOUR, and she had to get at least three people to come help, including the manager. The only positive things I have to say about is the delivery dept. They were polite and rescheduled my delivery, also the guys that delivered were nice and timely. I will not be back in this store, ever! read more
