I have no idea why I continue to go there. Today's trip was to find a replacement ballast for a 48' two light fluorescent fixture. After wandering around trying to find them, I stumbled upon a dis-interested associate. After a couple of minutes with this person, I knew I needed another alternative. I left and went to Locke electrical and plumbing. In less than 5 minutes I got exactly what I needed and for 5 dollars less than I would have spent at Lowe's. Poor customer service for online order for pickup. The item given was their display item even though the item was still in stock. Overall purchase process lags behind the Keller and Lake Worth locations. No apology given or anyway tried to rectify my concern. I'm just happy I was able to get a refund. I will not be supporting this location an further. The manager on down apparently need training. The audacity of a sign hanging stating to the fact that customer service is first. I go to this Lowes all the time and rarely if ever have had a bad experience - not sure what is going wrong for these other people. My only complaint is that sometimes the check-out counters get too backed up before help arrives, usually on a Saturday or Sunday when everyone and their dog (literally, they bring their dogs!) is shopping. The employees are friendly, usually helpful (or they just don't know about what I ask them), and I have had a few outstanding visits when employees have gone above and beyond. read more

I was in the store for a minor piece of electrical equipment. A Lowe's employee came walking past me in the electrical isle, so I asked if he could help. I showed him the item I was looking for. He looked at me, clearly annoyed, and said "I work in tools", and then just walked away. Not only was he unhelpful, but he was also rude. The lady in hardware was extremely rude and un helpfully when I had a special request. What she could have done was show a a solution for my lock change. Instead she dug her heels in on not helping me solve a problem in an negative way. Completely unnecessary. So i put all of my items back. The store manager here, Candy Bauer, seems to feel she is the queen bee! I do A LOT of business here and she always has a superior attitude and acts like everyone and everything is a bother to her. On a recent call she stated, I called you back (a day later than promised), it's now up to the installers. What is that? If that's the level of care I can expect from Lowe's, I'll move my business to Home Depot which is actually closer to me. The order I was forced to call her about was for 2 bathroom counter tops which were supposed to arrive 3 weeks earlier! I prepaid over $3000.00 and still do not have them! Customer Service trickles down from the top. If this is how the Store Manager treats customers, you can be sure the others will not be any better. Save yourself the headache and look into other options before considering Lowe's (or at least this location). read more

Wow, I realize staffing is less on a Saturday night, but this was ridiculous! After asking for help in "closet systems" twice and waiting over 30 minutes, we gave up. Upon our departure I went back to the front (where I asked for help twice prior) to let them know (by them - I mean the 5 employees having social time, including the manager) , that no one came to help, and we were leaving. I had a tremendously bad experience here like 1 minute ago. First of all, there were no carts at this store. Everyone needs a cart at lowes, it's a HARDWARE store. I figured whatever, I'll carry my stuff. I was only looking for 3 things: a sheet of plexi glass, acrylic cement, and a cutting knife. Neither of them were easy to find, I found the knife blades in a row strapped to the edge like those "in case you need this" displays, the plexi glass by lumber (really?) and no cement ever. I am like 5 foot tall, and a girl. You would think someone would ask me If I needed help like they do at Home Depot. I walked up and down the store twice looking for help, and found none available. Eventually I stopped at customer service to ask if I could leave the plexi glass there while I shopped since there was no carts. When it was almost my turn in line, the lady said we were forming a line at the wrong spot, and everyone scattered, leaving me as last in line again. I said forget it, and continued to walk around with my huge like 6'x3' sheet of plexiglass and no cart. Still couldn't find any cement after a few trips, or anyone to help me, so I decided to check out. I found a roll of twine I could possibly need, and I put back my plexi (Since I couldn't find anything to glue it with, I had no need for it). When it was time to check out, there were only 2 registers. ON A FREAKING SUNDAY. I waited in line for my stupid $2 roll of twine, there were maybe 5 parties ahead of me. Ok so when I was second in line, a lady whispered to me that she was gonna open another register on the other side. Cool! But by the time I took my 12 steps to get there, someone snuck in front of me. Ok whatever I am still super zen at this point. I let them go in front of him only to find out there was no paper on the register!!!! So they couldn't ring us up there. But it's ok we'll open ANOTHER REGISTER!! And when I get there, no paper on there either!!!! At this point I lost it, I left my roll of twine and I bailed out of there. Not worth it-- total waste of my time!! On the way out of my car I saw the greenery and decided to just go in and buy a few plants. There's a register there and hardly any people, and the whole plant department is together so it shouldn't be a problem. My only necessity was that the plants be in a rectangular container. I didn't care what kind, what size, what type of plant, price, anything. Just a rectangular container with dirt and something green on it. Couldn't find it. Asked the cashier-- didn't have any WHATSOEVER. Ridiculous. I left again-- this time for good. Not to mention, they sell the dead/dying plants here at a discount. The whole area smells like garbage. I will never ever step foot in this Lowe's, and I will advice everyone I know not to either!!! read more

I've spent over $3,000 at this store from December 13 until January 14 because the chain has a lot of superior products, superior to Home Depot. I have been very discouraged by my recent purchase and the stores reaction to my complaints. The stores personnel are more concerned with defending their processes than listening to a valid concern and finding a remedy to save a customer. I bought a ceiling fan intending to install it. I also bought a 30 inch extension rod from the same mfg, a brand that appears to be a Lowes affiliate. When I had all the pieces ready for assembly I realized the rod supplied with the fan and the accessory rod were dissimilar on both ends. I read all the instructions with the fan and looked for some with the rod to no avail. I called the store, and then went in. No one offered any help. I went home trying to figure out what I should do. With no success I went back to the store asking for help. The man said I could have it installed for less than $100.00. Not a good deal, considering it's not rocket science and I had installed 5 previously. But I had no alternative. I went online requesting installation. Someone was supposed to call within 48 hours. After 5 days I went back asking about installation. They asked how high? I said about 10 ft. They said well then you will need to pay $35 for a site assessment. I showed them a photo on my phone, showing the spot where the old fan had been removed with a ladder under it and a hook on the beam with a rope pulley. They said no,company policy was to visit to see what was required. So I paid and someone was to come out. A guy did, spent about 1 minute and left. When asked when it would be installed he said, as soon as I get the OK from Lowes. After 5 days I called the store. After being on hold for 5 minutes I cancelled the call. So I went into the store, another wait for someone who didn't come in 8 minutes. I left asking to have the person who hadn't shown to call me. No one called so after a few hours I called asking for the GM. I talked to someone who said the installation couldn't start until I signed a contract in the store, all news to me, so I went back. I signed a contract for installation that now cost a lot over the original $100. The installer did a good job. No problem with the product or the 35 minute installation. The problem was their was a disconnect with their 2 products that should have been explained. The problem was there was no respect for my time. The problem was up charge for a fan 2 ft higher than standard. The problem was every person I met in the store was sullen, arrogant and condescending. Even when they called and met me to refund the $35.00 they were sullen. I asked if they were hoping to remedy the situation the woman, I think her name was Katherine said, yes they were studying it. I spent 200 dollars and wasted about 6 hours and countless gallons of gas, because because they lacked product knowledge and couldn't understand or care about my frustration. As a successful owner of two retail stores I would have suspended or terminated every person I encountered. There is an unfortunate culture of denial and arrogance at this Lowes. Too bad because they have some good products, and poor service? 12/18/14 To follow up, we had a recent problem with the same fan and the Lowes corporate staff got right on the problem and had local people call me and arrange to replace and install a new fan at no charge. Great customer service. Countless number of times in the last 3 1/2 years I have been in this store and they help me with a project. The staff knows from experience about tools, painting, and building. Bought my carpet here. Great service. Bought a table saw. Couldn't get it to unlock. Two associates helped me with that. Bought all my paint here and every time I get great advice and the color is perfect. They are available to help you and have experience working with the materials they sale. Had a woodworking project. That associate told me the best tool to buy and how to do it. I see the same employees here, I saw 3 years ago and I'm sooo glad! Had a return with a lost receipt - the lady worked so hard to find it in the system. She did. Awesome time after time. read more

If i could give less than one star i would. I have tried for 2 months to get a vanity put in my bathroom. Talk to 3 or 4 people (assuming you could find someone to talk to yo) in the store EVERY one tells you something different (sure the delivery people can install it for you - NO! Sure the people can come and measure the space - 2 different people came , didn't cancel the carpenter (the check out girl didn't know who she was supposed to send so she ordered the wrong person- put the vanity on truck when it wasn't supposed to be delivered) so wasted day for him. Call the store to find out what's going on - NO ONE answers, call installation services - talk to 3 different people- whole bunch of lies and half truths but no one can figure out to tell me that hey the plumber needs to come twice, so here i sit with the installers in my driveway - and the manager - looking into what he can do? Which from the looks of thing is just give me more lip service! read more

I was looking for bluebonnet seeds in my local TEXAS store. They had them online, but I didn't want to pay $6 shipping on a $4 purchase. I spoke with 7 employees and each person was less helpful than the one before. The last lady kept saying "the problem is", I don't want to know the problem, I wanted a solution! If only one person would have been able to offer a code for free shipping or like other stores offer free shipping when ordered from the store, that would have been a great solution. I am usually a Home Depot guy and today's visit to Lowe's reminded me why. They had a special on a Porter Cable nail gun I wanted. Had some other yard and garden items I needed so thought I would save myself from having to make two stops and get everything at Lowe's. Needless to say, I didn't make it out of the garden center. I was looking for pre-emergent week killer and asked two of the garden reps if I had the right stuff and they just looked at each other, shrugged and gave me a look that told me they were clueless. I should have guessed what to expect when the cashier could not scan a gift card. Went to customer service to voice my concern and the rep said that the manager was busy and asked what happened. I told her and she said she will take everything down and pass it to a manager. Since she was half listening I didn't take the time to give her my name and number. read more

We rented a steam cleaner on 2/1 and it was not sparkling clean. My husband cleaned our room last night and again this afternoon. One room. He cleaned and rinsed it out and took it back for return. The older woman at the return desk between 4-430 pm informed him that it wasn't clean enough. He informed her that he cleaned and rinsed it twice. She refused to believe him and offered him a brush and soap to clean it right there in the store. Are you kidding me? She was trying to humiliate. Ridiculous. I hope you're happy with the cleaning fee of $20. We've always traded at Lowe's, but have never been treated so poorly. Moving on to Home Depot up the street. A year ago we replaced a few windows in our home. Patrick N was the Project Specialist we purchased the windows from and he was involved in the project thru the end. This week one of the windows appeared to have broken and would no longer stay up. I sent an email to Patrick to begin the process of getting this repaired using our warranty. I sent the email at 5:43 pm and, at 5:53 (no kidding, I checked my phone) Patrick called me. He said he felt like he knew what the problem was and, while he did offer to come over, he could also walk us thru the quick fix. It was a simple bolt that involved a screwdriver and a couple of minutes and the window is working just like new. Hanging up the phone, my husband and I just looked at each other. When does this ever happen? Thank you Patrick and Lowes for the excellent service! read more

We originally ordered cabinets online on 7/31. The Upper cabinets were sent to the Keller Store and delivered quickly and no issues. The one lower cabinetw was sent to the Hurst Store and did not go the same. The initial delivery was delayed due to not in stock. When it was set up for delivery the next time it was 8/6. I received a phone call that morning saying an afternoon delivery. Later that day they called it wasn't on the truck! Nor did they have it in stock and had to be ordered. Next delivery time (8/7) it's damaged in route because it wasn't secured properly on the truck. The driver actually texted me pictures. We canceled delivery and I was told to call Sean a manager at the Hurst, Tx store. He ordered a new cabinet which did get delivered a week later (8/14) but upon opening up it it was cracked in 2 places . I again called Sean (8/15) to order a new one and pick up the damaged one. IT WAS NOT DONE! I called 2 times last week to see where my cabinet was. Tuesday the supervisor looking into it NEVER called me back. On Wednesday I called again and talked to David who is the only one who handled this issue quickly. He called me back promptly after researching, found a cabinet, made sure it was not damaged and had it delivered on Friday. I've yet to hear from Sean to explain what happened, to apologize and to compensate for this issue. The service from the Hurst store was terrible (other than David). I'm upset with how long this took and the fact that I had to constantly to call to check on this issue. After the first issue it should of taken a priority to fix yet it was compounded with more problems. I didn't pay for this terrible service and I feel something should be done to rectify it. Kitchen remodel advice: Allow a very long period of time for your project. We are a few days from four months and still not done. None of the products we have ordered through Lowes have gone without challenges. Cabinets are beautiful, but doors and finishes do not match. Replacements ordered, but still waiting for them to arrive. Granite countertops are beautiful, but do not match the height of our new "standard height" slide in oven. Debate in process on how to resolve that issue. Two houses up on our street was completely gutted for remodeling at the same time we started. They will be finished next week. read more

Went in to get a microwave. Several employees walked by me. Asked someone in washers/dryers for help. She said she was with a customer & would get help. She didn't. Glenn came by and he carried the microwave to the Customer Service counter, They asked if this would be a pickup for later and, thinking they meant for curbside pickup after I paid, I said yes, so Edith tried to put in my phone number multiple times. Three people tried to get my number saved. I said THREE times that if someone would get me a cart, I would take it to my car. NO ONE of the three even looked at me. Finally I got their attention, and I paid for the microwave. Everyone scattered, leaving me to stand there with a heavy microwave on the counter. I am 66 years old! Edith returns and I said AGAIN that if someone would bring a cart, I would take it to my car. She brought me a cart and watched as I lifted this heavy object into a grocery-type cart. My back hurt and I cried out in pain. THEN she asked if I wanted help. I was so mad that I said I would do it myself. I spent that afternoon & today on a heating pad. No customer "service" at this store, just arrogant, apparently unhappy people there, except for Daniel, who magically appeared to help. No less than five other employees ignored me. And three employees at the Customer Service counter didn't listen to me. What a joke. Lowe's used to be a great place to shop. Fools. read more

Don't buy dishwasher from Lowe's in Euless. This was my first purchase from Lowe's and it will absolutely be the last. I purchased a dishwasher over Memorial weekend. I was told it was not in stock and would be 2 weeks. Well, 2 weeks rolled around and not a peep on delivery or installation. I started calling to get status and that is when I started getting the run around. Finally, after 2 weeks of calling every couple of days, I got to talk to the store manager that told me the dishwasher was in and they would be out to install the next day. That would have been great except I work during the day. I called the installation department and set day to install that worked for me. All this time, I have been calling the store, and no one has called me directly. Day of install came and dishwasher was installed. However, the top shelf of dishwasher was broken. We are now at a month after my purchase and I am making payment on dishwasher that is not fully functional. I am back on phone to call the store again to advised them that newly installed dishwasher is broken. At this point, I am requesting a brand new one, not to repair as I haven't even used it. Again, I start calling store after 10 days to give them time to get new dishwasher in. As of now, I am still waiting on 2nd dishwasher to be installed. This has been such a hassle and time consuming. Long story short, don't buy from Lowe's in Euless. read more

Not surprised to see such a low overall rating for this store. I purchased a patio umbrella and when I got it home, discovered that the lower pole was missing. I returned with the umbrella. The lady at the service counter seemed nice enough. She called the garden center department then advised they were looking for the missing pole. They either didn't look, or they already knew they didn't have it--which is what I suspect--because they called her back within 2 minutes, and she said they couldn't find it. She was helpful in that she located one in another store for me. However, when I was back at the Hurst store 2 day later, I noticed the same umbrella was back out for sale with no markdown and no indication that the pole was missing. When my husband went to the service counter to advise they should either remove it or mark it as missing parts so that someone else doesn't have to go through the same hassle and disappointment, the lady (different person than the one who helped me before) interrupted him mid-sentence to answer a phone call, basically gesturing for him to wait until she finished the call instead of telling the caller to hold while she finished with the customer standing right in front of her. We left the store immediately, abandoning our FULL shopping cart and went down the street to Home Depot. read more
