So I bought this washer with a Protection plan. It showed and two movers took it out of the box into my house and put it where I wanted it. That is the only things that went right. I wasn't fully paying attention because I was trying to keep my kids out of the way. One guy said that his co-worker was taking pictures and would have me sign something before they left. Instead, he took pictures and they left without me signing anything. Then I noticed the big dent in the front of my washer. I called and asked if their policy was to discount or return. They said return. Two days later they came and exchanged the washer. I was skeptical, because as they brought the 'new' in my house I could see that it was slightly dirty and the drain hose was already attached to it and it was dripping water. Two days later, my wife tells me the agitator disconnected itself at least twice while it was running. I called customer service to return it and get my money back and they told me I could either return it at the store or call the warehouse directly because Lowe's only allowed two delivery trips. That means the moment I accepted the exchange, even if the next washer is non-functional, Lowe's won't help me get it back. Never again will I ever accept an exchange from Lowe's again. But it gets worse. I called the warehouse and they setup the exchange and told me that a delivery team will call me to set up a pickup date. This conversation happened Saturday at 10 am. Wednesday evening comes around and no one has called me. I decide that four days without a call is unacceptable, so I have a friend help me take it to Lowe's. I bring it in to the Lowe's in Jefferson City and they tell me that because I called the warehouse, I can't return the washer and I will have to take it home and wait for them to come pick it up Thursday. Of course I find this insane. I look at her and say, "Are you serious. I was told I can call the warehouse or bring it in. You are telling me that I have to put this back in my friend's truck, drive it back to my house, and wait until Thursday? I have not heard from them going on four days. Do you know what time are they coming by? I don't trust that they will actually do that. What time is my wife supposed to be at home so they will actually pick it up and I can get my money back." I was doing everything in my power to restrain myself from raising my voice, but obviously she could see how frustrated I was. She looked very concerned and said she would call customer service. I spent 25 minutes waiting on their bench for Lowe's to get their act together. Eventually, they allowed me to return it and get my money back, but then I was told that they have to put in a special case request to see if I can get the $150 back for the protection plan. For 3 days I literally had to wait and find out if they would refund me $150 on a protection plan for a washing machine that I did not have. I got all my money back after this fiasco except, about $79. I looked up my haul away fee. it was $50. This experience has confirmed that I will never buy another large appliance from Lowe's again because they contract all their appliance deliveries to non-Lowe's companies. The Contrast: During this madness, I decided to buy a washer from Best Buy. It arrived on time and was delivered by Best Buy employees. They used moving straps instead of old fashioned dollies. They unpacked the box and put it right where I wanted it. I've never seen so much tape keeping things in place in my life, which was absent from the washers delivered by Lowe's. They let me look over the washer. They had me sign something. They left. The entire process took less than 10 minutes. It was everything I expected the deliver to be. I also was able to track where the moving truck's location was on their GPS map system. Best Buy has earned my respect and my business. I would give zero stars if I could. I just had a very racist interaction with one of Lowe's employees, her name is Jasmin. While waiting to pick up some stuff, I had my car pull in the back, they came and ask me to move my car so they could load a different costumer but since I was there first I said no. What follows was Jasmin bringing up my accent (which I do have an accent), saying that "you people are always acting up like this and that". Long story short, my wife is canceling her Lowe's card, and we will NEVER shop here again. snotty customer service at self checkout @approximately 5:30pm on 9-20-25 I didn't have my drivers license with me but had my Passport ID card to verify who i was for the Military discount, most of the time no one ever ask because i do so much business with them. the lady was very rude. so i left about a $150.00 worth of tinted paint in my cart told her exactly what to do with it. Me and my husband were shopping in this Lowe's. The Lowe's store in my area (Sedalia Mo) is wonderful. The employees and kind and helpful. I can't say that for this store in Jefferson City, MO. We had two carts. I had the one with lumber and my husband was ahead of me with cinder blocks and a few smaller items. He had me give him he tag from one of our pieces of lumber since they were 6 of the same kind. He took this to the man at the checkout. When our transaction was over I followed my husband out the door to hear "MA'AM, MA'AM!!" I turned around and was asked "aren't you going to pay for that?" At this point I lost my cool. I understand that in this town theft is an issue. But I am not a thief nor is my husband. I didn't go even get an apology. We will not be returning. read more

I called the jeff city store to resolve an order that has not arrived. I placed the order Nov. 13th. IT IS NOW DEC. 10TH I was told by Hatefull Rebecca WITH the customer SERVICE that it was my responsibilty to contact UPS and resolve the issue with them. I told Rebecca I don't work for lowes and I don't get paid by lowes nor do I receive any bennifits from lowes. I informed her Customer Service was her resposibility, NOT MINE. I asked to speak to a manager and she said You don't need one, you will get the same answer. I told her I want to speak to one. She kept delaying and saying i was difficult. I kept asking for a manager to speak with. She finally hung up on me.... I have spent so much money with lowes it makes me sick that this is where we are at. I am soooo PISSED ! Pretty sure the restrooms here were immaculate. I really appreciated the options for drying your hands and not just limiting you to a glorified blow dryer that leaves you with wet handprints on your clothes because the dryer doesn't work. The water was was the right temperature of warm, almost soothing during my 20 second hand wash, and don't forget the toilet paper! It was so soft I could almost entertain the idea running it against my checks in a soft comforting embrace. You bet the next time I am in Jefferson City that I will be back to this location. This review is specifically for the delivery team. Ordered a full set of kitchen cabinets for delivery. Day of delivery they don't show up. I call and they say it's because payment didn't go thru even though they already took the money out of my account. 3 hours on the phone back and forth before I talk to a manager who gets it sorted and delivery is scheduled for the next day. Of course I am missing cabinets from my delivery so I call to get it sorted. Over the next week they schedule delivery and don't show up or call a total of FOUR times! The whole ordeal ends with me canceling the remaining cabinets after the job being delayed for a week because of their incompetence. China, in the paint department, was very busy and I wasn't sure I should ask for help since I only needed a quart of paint. She was so friendly and helpful and had no problem getting my paint color exactly right in just a few minutes. I really appreciated that she was so pleasant and friendly. read more

I love the Lowe's Jefferson City, Missouri store. Although they stock the standard array of home improvement products, it is the wonderful employees that brings me back to this store. Without being overbearing the sales associates always provide a friendly greeting and a question if they can help me. And when I do require assistance, they are always spot on with helpful information. Perhaps most impressive are the sales associates who provide impromptu tips about the use of items that are in my cart! Wow! How great is that? The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. This Lowe's recently got an exterior paint upgrade. The interior stayed the same. The selection here is great. There are tons of different choices on all kinds of items. The door and washer and dryer section is crazy! The staff members here are very nice and kind. They are also very helpful and know what they are talking about. There are a few Lowes in the Mid-Missouri area I can review. I can compare them to each other, and then to the other home improvement stores I've been to. Oh the ones in JC, Lake Ozark and Columbia, this one is the middle. I like the Columbia one more, but this one does have it's good points. I think with the Jefferson City market growing, Lowes could have uped it's game here, but it didn't. I was surprised at that. It had everything most Lowes have, but it could've had more. It could been a contender. But for all Jefferson City hardware stores, it's a very nice place. read more

My wife wanted a freezer. Without running someone else down (but they sell Kenmore), she endured a 2 week nightmare at another retailer. Then we went to Lowe's.
