I just purchased a dryer online from the Olympia store for delivery. Beware that even though you order from Olympia the Lacey store handles delivery. I also learned from a rude person at the Lacey store who has been rude to me before by phone that essentially your 12 hour delivery window does not narrow even on the date of delivery until just before your product shows up. I also had other delivery problems last year when I purchased a jacuzzi tub from Olympia Lowe's and they essentially could not find my tub. Last month I bought a gas stove online from Lowe's. Delivery on it went well but Within a month I had to schedule two repairs with a GE warranty repair person who is booked up for two weeks. read more

I stopped at Lowe's home improvement store to look for a plunger for my kitchen sink. I was greeted right away, by an associate. He gave me his top recommendations, of what type of plungers to use, and asked, what else I have been using to unclog my kitchen sink. I also spoke to a customer who was in the plumbing field, and he also gave me good, solid, advice. I now have a unclogged sink, after 3 days of nothing working, to unclog the sink. Doubt Lowe's will read this, but I hope Mr. Gary (in appliances) has a better day. I don't know if he just was tired or ready to go home, but how he treated my family and I was terrible. I didn't go to the store expecting excellent service based on what I have heard about this location. Yet, I didn't imagine that the service could be much worse than what I had heard. Now, I will take responsibility because even after what I heard about this store, I gave Lowes a shot. The plus side about this experience is that I know better and will choose better. Therefore, I will go out my way to avoid this store. Which I am aware won't hurt this store in the least. However, I won't spend my money or time in a place that doesn't value you money or my time. Also, it may be a good idea to have someone with either knowledge of the stores services or someone who can find the information on services that the store provides to man/answer the phones. read more

This is my favorite Lowes there's always very helpful people there whenever I shop. I do get a lot of larger items especially from the garden area and they have been fantastic with helping load my items. I purchased a refrigerator and some cabinets as well this year all of those items were delivered, installed and works perfectly I'm really happy with Lowes. read more

My wife called to make sure that they had a freeze in stock, and how soon they could deliver it to us. She told them that our freeze had just stopped working, and that we would be losing a lot of food if we couldn't get a new one delivered soon. They told her that if we ordered it that day that they would get it delivered the next day. I went to order and pay for the freezer in 1 hour after she spoke to them, and I was told that the earliest delivery day was 6 days later. I decided not to order the freezer, because it wouldn't get delivered in time to save our frozen food. A few hours later I spoke to my wife and told her why I didn't order the freezer. She was upset, called the store and spoke to a different sales person that told her that he know that she had been told that we could have the freezer delivered the next day, and said he would talk to the delivery manager. He told her to have me come back in so we could get it ordered. When I got there I was told that the delivery manager said that he wouldn't be able to do anything for us, because we didn't buy it RIGHT away. I told him that I was there in only an hour after my wife was told that we could get it delivery the next day. The sales person then told me that the delivery manager wouldn't change his mind because my wife didn't just order the freezer over the phone. I then informed him that my wife was never told that, and that she was told that if we ordered it THAT DAY, we would have it delivered the next day. He was nice about it, but basically told me that I was out of luck and as soon as they could get it to us would be 6 days later. This isn't the first time that we have had problems with Lowe's and their customer service. Don't know if we will ever go back there again. read more

Don't be the last person who still shops at Lowes. I've had several quality issues with their products and tonight was the last straw. They denied a return despite having original receipt in hand. Three employees, including the manager, treated me like a criminal while denying the return of their faulty product citing "Corporate policy". I went to Home Depot and their staff was extra friendly for no apparent reason. It is worth the extra drive. I'm done with "Low(es) quality and Low(es) customer service." We deserve more for our money. read more

I will never be mistaken for master carpenter "Norm Abrams" of this "This Old House" but I could easily be mistaken for "Tim the tool man Taylor". With that said I do like to do my own home improvement projects. I have to admit part of what makes this store so great is that it is less then 10 minutes from my house. I have had nothing but great experiences from Lowe's Home Improvement. Unlike there competition Home Depot I all ways get an answer to a question. If the sales associate does not know the answer they find someone who does. Many times I have showed up with parts of plumping from my sink or pictures of something I have broke and gotten the right supplies not to mention instruction on how to fix it. They have people who have extensive knowledge to help do my projects like fix my roof, remodel my bathroom, install a new dish washer to various plumping and construction projects. Now I'm sure I could drive around and get better prices someplace else but, I like the convenience and customer service that Lowe's provides me. read more

Don't shop at this Lowe's. Their customer service stinks. I made of purchase of over $300, and they charged my card twice. My card declined the first time and the checker said it was because I removed it. I did not. So we ran it again. Then I see on my credit card, that it was charged twice, and they would not do anything about it. Said to take it up with my credit card company. This is the last time I will ever do business with Lowes, and I have done plenty of business in the past. Don't waste your time because they don't stand behind anything nor do they try to solve your problem. Just a bunch of mumbo jumbo. If I could give zero stars, I would. read more

While shopping at our regular Lowes, I found a great deal on a compound miter saw, it was marked down from 299 to 179. Found an associate who informed me they were out of stock but the store on Martin way had 13 in stock. The associate sent me to the Lowe's on Martin way. Went to that store and was informed they would not honor the other stores prices even though they are both Lowes, the manager there said he could transfer a saw to the Lacey store, so I went back to the Lacey store on yelm highway and was informed they would not honor the price and bring in a saw. Terrible customer service. The manager also told me the display model was not for sale because they are non functional which is not true. I have been a loyal customer of Lowes, we have bought 5-6 of our appliances there and have done multiple home improvement projects using this store and can't believe the way this was handled. I'm very disappointed with management being misleading and how they false advertised their product. I will not shop here and I will discourage others from shopping here. read more

I ordered blinds and had them installed by the store's contractor and the logistical experience was sub par. After the window measurements were taken, we went to the store to choose our blinds. About a week after they were bought and custom ordered, we received a call saying that one of the custom windows had to be reordered which would end up costing more money. They told us we could do it all over the phone and to make a long story short we finally received our last set of blinds last week....the whole process took over 1 month. What made my experience a 5 -star was the customer service. Throughout the frustrating process every staff member I encountered was cordial, well-meaning, and attentive. They didn't talk to me like it was my fault I ordered blinds there and to make up for my inconvenience, two of the managers (Ana/Amy) offered me some money back on installation fees. I would definitely return to this store. read more

I've always had good experiences at all Lowe's locations, but this one in particular is fantastic! Their customer service is far superior to other all other home improvement stores, rarely having to seek anyone out if I have a question because everyone who passes by (that's not on a mission for a current customer) makes sure you're finding things ok. On top of them helping me find what I'm looking for, I've also received so much great advice from the employees, from less expensive alternatives of what I'm looking for to other remedies in case my current plan doesn't work out! read more

Took forever to get credit approval, finally on the second go through, it went through, we'll see how the delivery is this weekend

Shopped at Lowe's in Lacey Wa today, by the time I left I was extremely upset. Lately I've been remodeling my bathroom and I was shopping for finish material when I found an over-the-toilet shelf/cabinet on display that was advertised at $39.99. Super excited, I loaded one into my cart and headed to check out only to find that it was ringing up at $99.00 and not $39.99. The advertised price was a great deal I thought and wanted to be sure I wouldn't have trouble at the check out counter so I took a picture of the item and the price to show the cashier. She called her manager, Mark, to verify the price and he said "no" the price if $99 even though I told her it was advertised and displayed for $39.99 and showed her the items were exactly the same. She gave me some BS answer that this was new product that didn't match the display after I showed her they were identical. So I couldn't buy it brand new, she offered the display model and I said fine. She had to check and make sure she could and asked her manager again if it was okay to sell the display model and he told her yes. I asked her to ring up the display model while waiting for them to bring up to the front when she said she had to check with the manager to make sure she could do that and her manager said, I have to verify that... so Mark verified that I could buy the display model for $39.99 before he actually verified it? What? Talked to Mark directly in the end, they refused to sell the display or the boxed cabinet for the advertised price. Wasted my time waiting for them to fabricate their own BS answers. Next step YELP, then Better Business Bureau, then Mark's manager at Lowes! read more
