Came here to check the balance of a store credit card I found at home. The lady at customer service was able to take care of this request for me. I appreciated her help. Turned out there was a balance so I decided to make a quick purchase. When it came time to check out on self check was available. Apparently Lowe's has removed all of the registers that were manned by people from front of the store. Self checkout only now in the front center part of the store. I told the one associate working that I'd use the self check only if I got a discount or being paid a salary. I ask if there were any regular registers available. She said one at customer service one on the lumber side. The one on the customer service side is always busy with returns and the other one is busy with contractors or DIY projects. So Lowe's is forcing customers to use the self check. Well I won't be the one. I'd rather not shop here if this is the case. read more

Lowes employee shared my purchase information details (amounts, items, dates) with his girlfriend who is not an authorized user in any capacity on my account. I contacted HR, and corporate, and then was put in touch with the GM of the store. Not only was nothing done to resolve my invasion of privacy...But then the employee started to slander my business page on FB and on Yelp. I then informed Lowes with pictures...and still, nothing has been done. I will be moving forward with BBB, legal counsel, social media, etc. read more

We purchased a home in Carencro 1.5 years ago and since then I have used this Lowe's on a regular basis. The employees have always been very pleasant and helpful. Although they don't always have what I need, they are always my 1st choice for materials. read more

We went yesterday to look at linoleum flooring and stood waiting for about 10 minutes while the intercom kept going off saying "assistance needed in flooring" and also while 4 workers walked right passed us. Extremely poor service. I went to buy paint10/14/21 around 6:20 pm at the Gloria Switch location, Lafayette. Nobody in sight. I waited for 15 min, nobody. I asked: "we'll send somebody". 10 min later: nobody in sight. Then: "he's on break". Finally: "You may have to go somewhere else". I had an issue with the cost of some luxury vinyl flooring. I asked to speak to the department manager. He finally came to speak to me and he never introduced himself. He was very condescending and would not even consider to hear my side. He whirled around and walked off. I was angry at that point so I asked to speak to Store Manager. How foolish of me to think the Store Manager would be more professional and we would have a normal conversation. I was dead wrong! He was much more rude and talked over me like I was a nut case. He was so unprofessional that I couldn't believe a Regional Manager would tolerant this behavior. The store manager, who also didn't introduce himself, should have a boot right out the store front. I will never shop at this store and I tell everyone how I was treated. read more

This store makes Walmart look like Saxby's of London. I was a huge Lowe's extremely loyal customer till I have dealt with these two stores. Rude. Condescending. Bought a washer online and was given a two week delivery even though it was in stock. The day for delivery finally came and nothing. Tried calling and was put on hold time and time again or they didn't answer. Finally called customer service (needs to be renamed) and the young lady hung up on me. After three hours of trying to get an answer I'm done. They can stick the washing machine .....well..... I will NEVER enter either store again. And I'll be calling corporate on Monday. read more

Okay, Yelpers, this review is for Lowe's appliance delivery! I bought a washing machine here and let me tell you, the delivery service is VERY BAD!! The details are long but the condensed version is this. The guy in charge, Ryan, if that was his real name, was rude, unprofessional and left the washing machine in my daughter's garage WITHOUT INSTALLING IT IN THE HOUSE! He was mad because she was not available for an early unexpected delivery and didn't answer his call from a SPAM NUMBER! Basically, when he arrived his attitude was poor and unfriendly because he had to work passed 2:30 pm!!! Anyway, when I contacted Lowe's the manager said we had to contact the delivery service manager and that his hands were tied! I'm giving Lowe's and the delivery service a poor review because we were not informed that the delivery people were NOT employees of Lowe's but of a separate delivery service. And those people COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE LOWE'S customer! All I can say is BUYER BEWARE!!! read more

Wish I could give it a 0 stars. My husband and I had a project. Went into Lowe's and asked if we could have plywood cut in to 8 inch strips. Was told Yes, you must make your purchase first. Spent $188 then was told sorry no can do. It's just a curtesy for our customers. Apparently we are not a valued customer? Then after paying for the wood asked to be refunded. Another 20 minutes trying to be refunded and being told " we are too busy to do that for you" finally getting our money back from Martin the lumber manager and as we are walking out, the guy that cuts the wood is sweeping the floor. Very busy, very very busy Martin. Taking out business to Home Depot! Thanks Lowes! We will save money and get better customer service. read more

I gave this store a chance even after reading all of the prior bad reviews. Unfortunately I experienced the same problems as the others. I called ahead of time to ask flooring questions, but no one came to the phone. I called back and having been put on hold again for a while, I finally spoke to someone after several minutes, but she wasn't from that department. She stated that the clerk may be at lunch. After about 45 minutes I decided to drive from Broussard to their store because I was interested in flooring they had in stock. Still, even after all that time, NO ONE was in or around the flooring department nor could I find anyone else to page someone. There were no greetings from anyone upon entry or otherwise and no one walking around asking if assistance was needed like the other locations do. I wasted approximately 15-20 more minutes waiting in an effort to be completely fair. I could not believe how terrible the service was at this store. I ended up driving to Lowe's in Lafayette and purchasing over $2,000 in porcelain tile. There is no telling how much revenue is lost due to the lack of concern and customer service at this location. Serious changes need to be made to turn these types of experiences around. I hope for the sake of the good employees they may have there that it does. read more

Unfortunately, the customer service at this Lowe's is rather poor, as others have noted. It's happened on more than one occasion. Most recently I was loading up a cart with some heavy wood pieces and could have used help. Standing right beside me were three young men engaged in conversation with each other and made no offer to help. When I went to check out, two cashiers where chatting away with each other and had to be called away from their conversation to ring up my order. It's a nice store, but don't expect much help. Right down the road the customer service at Home Depot is significantly better. read more

HORRIBLE!!! Distracted and unorganized customer service rep is not able to acknowledge that my "pickup" internet order is waiting up front in the "cages," and instead he sends someone to go pull the stuff that's already been pulled! I tell him the stuff looks like it's waiting in the cages, and he cancels the guy he's sent to pull my materials. Then, he doesn't even help me get my very large items off of the cage shelves so I load them up myself. On top of that, he doesn't print out or give me any receipt. I get home only to find the two 31-gallon galvanized steel trash cans are so crammed and stuck together, one inside of the other, that even my husband and brother-in-law together cannot get them apart!! Plus one is all dinged up because of the way he stacked them with the handles lodged inside the other one. Very disturbing and poor service by non-professionals who just don't CARE about the customer or how they perform their jobs! Mediocrity and sub-standard performance all the way around!!! read more
