I woke up needing to use the restroom urgently, so I headed into this Lowe's. ​I've seen some bad public restrooms in my time, but this one takes the cake. It was so vile and disgusting that I turned around and walked right back out--and that's saying a lot considering I had to go worse than I have in my entire life. ​I stopped to tell the manager and several employees on my way out that their facility is unusable and a disgrace. I go in plenty of public restrooms, but I wouldn't step foot back in this one. If you're passing through Lenoir, keep driving and find a gas station or a hotel. Went to lowes last week to get a commade. Nate helped me alot. He is a 10 out of ten. Went again last week to get fencing. Garden center was very helpful. The were great. Went today to get plumbing supplies. Alex was very rude. Even walked off and told me to get the stuff I needed myself. If I go back for anything else, I hope nate is working. This review is for Lowes in Lenoir, NC. First off they never answer phones in the garden center; not just once but on several different occasions!!! Today; after holding online for several minutes for the department, their customer service agent came back online and said that she would try again. After holding online for several more minutes, their customer service agent again came back online and said she would get a manager. Well 48 minutes later (not a problem because I am doing my computer work while waiting) I'm still waiting!!!! 2nd, about a week ago me, and my worker spent over an hour at their location trying to find out if they had railroad cross ties, Could not get any help and if we did, they had no idea!!! My worker and I personally gave up and opted for their much smaller landscape timbers. We then got the pleasure of waiting for someone to help us. We needed a skid of the timbers sat down and loaded on my trailer. I only used this Lowes location because it is so close to my project site. The fence isn't even all the way to the ground and the dogs have been squeezing under it. Ive been dealing with the installation team for a month now and nobody has come and fixed the fence. They won't give me any money back for a fence that was lost, not installed correctly or in a timely manner and the installation isn't even correct or complete. At this point I'll fix it myself. If your a pro sales buyer be aware the store manager Bob will not stand behind Lowes products. He missed the customer service classes given at Lowes. I've spent over $154000 building a new house and Lowes sold us a defective sliding door. The manager told us since Lowes didn't install the door there was nothing he could do. I tried to explain to him, it's not an install problem, it's a defective door. He said there's nothing he can do, so like I said, Lowes doesn't stand behind the products it sells. Terrible company. Products are poor at best. Charging paper fees for statements and $30 dollar late fees in addition to their 30+ percent interest. They made a mistake on my bill and I got slapped with almost $50 in fees and penalties. I have never missed a payment. Furthermore, they refused to fix it until I went through several chains of command to get it fixed. Never doing business with them again EVER!! read more

Been to this Lowe's numerous times. Needed to get some brush killer spray. Store is always clean, organized and well maintained. Staff are typically more than friendly and helpful. I loved that all staff were practicing social distancing and all wearing face masks. They even had a table outside with hand sanitizers and masks for any customers who didn't have one (see pictures). Hired Lowes to professionally install 2- exterior doors from Feather River Doors. Lowes subcontracted installation who then contracted a 3rd party for install. Installers did a great job. However after a couple months noticed that the window frame was separating both inside and outside of door window, in same location. Raised my concern and was told part is under warranty and will direct ship to my address. Labor is NOT covered. Understand this is NOT an install issue it is a factory defect from Feather River Doors. Spent couple thousand dollars to be told I need to correct their mistake on my time at my own expense. DO NOT BUY these doors. Lowes wont cover warranty issues doesn't care what kind of product they sell their customers and won't back it up. Feather River Doors won't cover their own factory mistake. Would rather put burden on unqualified home owner to service. My guess is later down the road when this issue continues they will find a way to void warranty because issue wasn't corrected by professional. Will continue to shop at Lowes for DIY stuff but will never hire them for Big Ticket Install items again. read more

This location is horrible. We have used Lowes for home improvements for well over 30 years. Since moving to Lenoir and using this store, we have had nothing but issues. They lost out on a 60k kitchen remodel, flooring and windows purchase from us. Each time we had given them another chance, but it won't happen again. Everything from not returning phone calls, to ordering wrong materiels to not providing us with correct and timely estimates so we can plan our projects accordingly. They are just a hot mess from the associates up to management. read more

Most of the employees are very friendly but Saturday morning the cashier was very rude, which my kids got to witness and I used a learning tool to teach them how not to act , customer service or not. Never greeted us, spoke or barely even looked our way until we came to the last item and I noticed it didn't have a price sticker on it. Then she just stared at me and gave me a dirty look like it was my fault that her company didn't put the price tag on the piece of lumber. Seriously, Lowe's? I bought a new toilet for my master bathroom, a Kohler Highline Curve, it was supposed to be complete with everything to install it including a seat. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that the seat wasn't in the box as advertised and also it was missing the hardware to bolt on the tank!! I am very unhappy about this, since it delayed the installation and left us without the bathroom while we went to get the situation corrected. We went to Lowe's inquiring about someone coming out to measure for a fence in our backyard. A sales associate was getting our information and another sales associate came up to the one who was helping us and had a question about an item that he was helping someone with. The sales associate that was helping us went to go help his associate. I do not know if the other associate was new but I was kind of put off when the one that was helping us walked away to help him. Listen, I've been using Lowes for years, each State and move. Just moved to Lenoir, and seriously this Lowes location has some issues. I've had 3 issues over 7 months. First time was, no one on the floor to help me put a large area rug on a cart for me. I requested help 2 times after walking to the service desk twice. FINALLY A customer walking by ended up helping me. Another time, I had a heavy item I needed loaded into my car, I asked the cashier to please request me assistance, no one ever came, I finally rolled my cart to my car, and two men in the parking lot (customers) helped me. I called the manager on my cellphone, and basically given a nonchalant attitude. And finally, I purchased a $250.00 ceiling fan, also paid almost $200.00 for installation, the week before 4th of July. Never a call, or anyone to install the fan I purchased. I called Lenoir Lowes store, 3 times, my husband called the store, and Lowes Corporate Office, and still NOTHING. Shouldn't take over a month to get someone to install it as promised. I went in Friday and refunded it all. Management at this Lenoir location needs to get on the ball or retire! I guess I'll be driving to Hickory to Home Depot in the future. This Lowe's is one of the worst. I come here all the time because it's close. Most of the employees know little to nothing and make poor suggestions. The return policy is hands down the worst. I have spent $30,00? This year and they are giving me a hard time about return just a few small items in the packaging because I do not have the receipt. I will just have to start driving another 30 minimutes to get to the Home Depot because at least when I overbuy there, I can return it. Lowe's needs to step up the game with customer service. Lowes has jerked me around now for going on two weeks. I order a new refrigerator it came on time as I was told. I paid $50.00 to have the old haled off. They said they couldn't take it with them butt they would get it the next day? It is still setting in my driveway about two weeks later ! My refrigerator temperature keeps going from 38 to 49 1/2 degrees. I called Lowes in Lenoir, NC I was told that I would get a new one and they come would pick up the old one. I was promised they would have it the next day. I haven't got it over about two weeks later. When I call they said we get back in few minutes. A few minutes never comes. I wait till the next day a call them back. I get told it be there in two days. They don't show up. Still haven't got it. Now they it is out of stock. They don't know when I will get it. No refrigerator and they still haven't hauled off! All I get is let me transfer you to this number then when they said I will transfer you to this number then your wait time is 29 minutes or longer. I wait and wait then I get we sorry we can give you a call back in 30 minutes to 45 minutes. There service must be the same for everyone to be having such long wait. read more

I remodeled my kitchen and sunroom using Lowes material and a complete kitchen of appliances spending over $7000.00 . From day one the Kitchen Aide cooktop would not work properly. After 4 service calls and a year with a defective cook top I still am getting a runaround at Lowes. All they want to do is send yet another repair person to work on it. I have requested either a new cooktop or my money back. Still no luck. If I don't get satisfaction today I will remove cooktop and take it back to them. They had 2 of 3 items, in stock and ready, where-as the other locations only had 1 of 3. Doing a home project I have patronized the Lenoir store many times in the past two months. The problem I have with the Lenoir store are the so called professional loaders. We senior citizens have to do our own loading of heavy materials we purchased while the "loaders" may retrieve a push cart , or B.S. with the cashiers and floor staff while we wrestle with bags of sacrete , lumber and roofing materials , etc;. They see you standing there and just walk away, dont even try to call someone or even say "I will be with you in a moment". They act so unhappy, Finally i found my paint on "my own" as usual. Another man asked me if there was anyone in that department, i said yes, if you can get them to pay you any attention and NO! She did not have another customer. First let me say, I think Lowes Home Improvement normally has excellent customer service. Yet every time I go to this location in Lenoir, I get horrible customer service. Yesterday I needed two blinds I bought cut down. I went to the blind department and was being ignored by the guy in this department. I waited patiently for him to acknowledge me. He never did, so I asked him if he could cut my two blinds down. The answer was NO - it will be an hour. There was no other customer waiting - probably a call in order. I shop here all the time, I have spent thousands and thousands but the service is lacking. Reciently I wanted to return some fancy shades I bought, they were clearance and I never buy clearance. They were not right so I tried to return them. I was told no, clearance is not returnable. I was not told this at the checkout. Manager said they are a final sale and cannot return them. So after waiting for ten minutes or so a cashier finally stops their conversation with another cashier in order to help me. So then I try to buy 2 sticks of crown molding made of pressed wood. I need to have it cut in half in order to put it into the truck. This of course is too much for the Lowe's in Lenoir to accomplish with a store full of employees and equipment. The stuff is so flimsy you could cut it with a knife, but they can't manage to get anyone certified to use the same at first. Then finally someone certified answers their phone but won't do it anyway because it will tear up the cut end. Well you saw off the cut ends anyway. So now gonna have to make another trip with a different truck just to buy some molding. Terrible customer service. The Lowe's in hickory would not this problem I'm just saying. After buying a lawn tractor and paying $199 for extended warranty, after my tractor broke down after 1 year, i have been given nothing but a run around. It seems it needs 1 part that has been on backorder for 5 weeks and i am not able to find out the part number so I can find it myself. I have been forced to pay someone to mow my 1 acre lawn. The lawn tractor is a TROYBuilt with a 46" cut. The newest ETA for the 1 part out of stock is now June 21st This makes 7 weeks they haven't been been able to fix, replace, loan or anything else for me. read more
