I usually leave Lowe's happy when I can find a red vested employee who knows what they're talking about. Since purchasing a home that requires repairs, I have visited more than usual. If I don't seek out a Lowe's pro, I often end up with the incorrectly sized part. The good news is that they easily accept returns.... I just don't like having to take multiple trips to get the correct item. My latest experience required me to return the item and go to Home Depot (a bit out of the way) to get the correct item. Lowe's could use more staff members who have broader knowledge. I don't know if it already exists but a button or phone at the end of the aisle that someone could push to alert staff that someone needs assistance would be useful for a customer in a rush. read more

Buyer Beware of False Rebates!! I purchased over $500 in paint for their 4th of July sale in 2025, offering a rebate buy one get 50% off the second. I filed the rebate on time, but their system was not recognizing this rebate. I called repeatedly and the rebate was finally approved. Now 8 months later, I have still not received anything. I called and they said they sent an email and it's now expired. What a waste of time. read more

First I like Lowe's overall. Obviously they are one of the major home improvement chains in the US. They generally have what I need and they give a veterans discount 365 days a year which can't be said for many big companies. This location is just ok however. They are often low in stock, the plant aren't in great shape and often have rot or fungus and frankly the management give you the run a round if you need them. Forget about using any of their contracted services. The one time we did it took almost 4 month AFTER we paid! Can you imagine?! I was livid. The contracted guy did do a good job once he finally got there but come on. They were way off their original quote of 5-7 days! read more

Tw this is a little rant: I have to be honest, being a cashier here can make you feel pretty awkward with people. I applied here to help with my communication skills, and while I've very much improved over the past year and a half, i still get anxious engaging with people and expressing my true self. I think part of it is due to the everchanging labyrinth that is the store and communication (especially in the garden section bleehhh) with the managers (along with the fact I don't enjoy DIYs, it was my dad's idea!). I really don't want to place the blame on the managers because they really do do a lot for the store and helping each and every customer (that they notice), but I feel like we are very disconnected, or we're left out in the dark about certain things. Today I went to Lowes in Lutz at 530 pm to have some keys made. I was there for 15 minutes and got zero help and left. The staff in front paged help to the key machine twice, but nobody came. I stopped 2 Lowes employees walking the aisles and both said they couldn't help me. This was a complete waste of my time and the worst part is wasn't even that busy when I was there. It was not busy that I saw couple employees casually chatting with each other for several minutes without a care in the world. I will never go back to Lowes! read more

Fantastic customer service sets Lowe's apart from Home Depot. My husband and I were getting several heavy, bulky items on this visit to Lowe's and I was so impressed when a Lowe's employee volunteered to assist us out to our car. He saw us crossing the parking lot with our cart full of things and came right over to assist us with getting everything in the car. We don't get that kind of service at Home Depot. If you can go somewhere else. Made a simple curbside pickup order that was screwed up through their buggy app and when I kept calling the pickup area inside no one answered. I went inside with the phone still trying to call their pickup station and no one was answering. When I was explaining the issues with the app and in general just trying to get help with the lockers which I NEVER USE BECAUSE I ALWAYS DO CURBSIDE, I got an attitude instead of apologies. I haven't been in Lowes in a couple years. Went in today to purchase a few items, they are ÀLL self check out. I had trouble with the machine. I had to do my debit card a few times. First, chip would not read, re enter, did it again after cleaning my chip (no problems 30 min before) told me a second time, so I swiped my card, told me to first try the chip. I'm getting more and more frustrated then finally it accepted my card. I grabbed my cart and headed out to the parking lot, looked down and saw no bag, I'm used to a clerk handing me my bag. Turned around and went back to the checkout. I found a clerk told her I forgot my bag, showed her the sales slip. Showed her which machine I used, no bag. She asked another person if she had seen it. Clerk comes back to me and says no one has seen it. I just flushed $20.00 down the toilet. That is thee last time I will set foot into Lowes. read more

We paid and and drove around for the workers to load us up . not only did the young man named Rich load my truck up in just minutes . Rich offered to help us unload when we got home . Went to pickup my online order of Mulch and soil on 4/14/23. When I got there in the garden area the guys loading cars said I need to go to another pickup area and let them know I'm here. 20 minutes later a lady comes out and gives me a pickup receipt and tells me to go back to lawn and garden pickup. I went and was waiting there another 20 minutes and this lady pulled behind me for her order. 10 more minutes go buy I called to speak to a store manager and could not get one after 8 minutes. The guys that were loading the cars earlier were now collecting carts while I'm waiting. I asked them about my order so they now went to get it. Her comes 1 guy with the same mulch giving it to the lady that came after me. I finally got my order after 1 hour waiting and a lot of wasted time and gas. When I got home I was shorted 1 bag of mulch. I called up and a Lady Brenda said she would put a bag aside in pickup. The next day I went to get it ; a very nasty Lady named ROSIE had such an attitude. She should be fired. Doesn't have what it takes to be in a customer service business let alone a Manager. So I have been driving past Lowes an extra 20 min to shop at Home Depot in Carrolwood. I have found the workers to be much different than Lowes! The workers at Home Depot seem like they actually want to help you and I have only seen them treating people with respect. this is the worst store to any appliances I buy a fridge the 19th store told me it's going to be delivery the 23rd the 22 they call me and told me that delivery is ready to chip the next day they call me the 23 in the morning to tell me they cannot deliver the fridge because they don't have any stock. They only sell offers on the store put the delivery for later date when the offer already passed and then they call you told you all that we don't have in stock. You have to buy it to regular price. Purchased a washer and dryer set for $2600.00 I asked the installers if they would run the machine to check for any leaks and they said, "we don't need to do that". When we did run the washer it leaked all over the second floor and ran out of the first floor ceiling. Wet stains and drywall damage on the ceiling. We contacted the store manager and he said, "you will have to deal with the installers..." "keep your receipts". Worst customer service I've seen in years. When I asked the store manager why he never called us back with a plan to fix the problem he said, "I'm busy running a store". Husband and I have a winter place in Land O' Lakes which is very close to this Lowe's location. We have been doing some home improvements this winter which have caused us to visit this Lowe's often. I have been impressed by the customer service every time we visit but today stood out so I felt inclined to leave a review. We went in to purchase several boxes of laminate flooring (28). I went and found a flat cart and before we got two boxes loaded up, we were stopped by an associate in flooring named Kris. He asked how many boxes we needed and offered to load it on a forklift and bring it outside and load it all into our car for us. This is outstanding customer service! He could have just kept quiet or walked away but he made my day and saved our old backs from lifting all of those boxes not once but twice. Thank You Kris, you are appreciated. We were shopping for a weed eater .. pretty simple . however I had some simple questions 3 different men working in THAT department had ZERO knowledge about weed eaters and they did not want to find someone who could help us. Also ... They have a rack with sale items .. Something we needed said $2 So I got 3 of that item... only to find out when I got home I had been charged $13 for each Item. Come on people it was CLEARLY MARKED DOWN! OPEN YOUR EYES! Yes I did call the Manager ZERO HELP sounded like he could care less , no offer to help or answer my questions. My elderly parents live near this location .. and were with me , so to me its like stealing from the elderly. I always prefer Lowe's as my home improvement store because it's appeal and cleanliness. Today's experience just sealed the deal! I ordered product online last night and picked us in store this morning. I didn't have to wait until normal business hours....Lowe's opens at 6am on weekdays. Walked right into the store and picked up my products with no issues. They have a dedicated entrance right after entering the main doors for online pickup. That area was closer this morning but they had appropriate signage posted to go to customer service. The employee that assisted me was very helpful. read more

EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED! I purchased a refrigerator recently, and the delivery service was appalling! The two men that showed up in an unmarked truck, dressed like homeless people were extremely unskilled and inexperienced, and they COULD NOT SPEAK A WORD OF ENGLISH!!! They did not have a clue how to disconnect the water line from my old fridge; they did not seem to know how to use a power ratchet to get the doors off the old fridge; the new one had the door hinged on the wrong side so they fumbled around trying to switch it, and I thought they were going to ruin the new fridge in the process. The store should have arranged ahead of time to have the door hinged on the right side, When the fridge was finally in place, there was a chip in the paint, which left an unsightly mark on the front of the door. I thought they were going to fix it but they just left without doing anything about it. I was shocked by their lack of professionalism, and that they could not answer any of my questions, but moreover, I am outraged that Lowes would send people who don't speak a word of English out to customers' homes. read more

We have used Lowe's for many purchases and products over the years and this latest experience will make me never return again. Our hot water heater went out and I was thrilled to learn Lowe's can do same day installation. Got that set up BUT after the installers left we realized the disconnected the water line to the fridge! They never asked or mentioned that they were or did this to me. By then it was 9pm on a Friday. No answer or voicemail on Saturday. Several calls before I could get ahold of someone on Monday and then had to wait until Wednesday for them to come do the water line repair. The company, Florida Energy, Water & Air, are horrible! The customer service is non existent. To top it off 2 of their employees told us this happens all the time. Why is Lowe's still using an installer that has such terrible service? As I have been and am still going through the process of filing a complaint with Lowe's I have come to realize Lowe's is not much better. I have been bounced from department to department within Lowe's trying to file a complaint and have gotten nowhere for 2 weeks. I am thoroughly disgruntled and disappointed. NEW POLICY STINKS ! I am a handyman and buy several hundreds of dollars weekly at this Lowes store for different projects. Some projects don't work out and you have to return some items. I had a plumbing project in which i paid cash and couldn't find the receipt when returning some unopened items. Worst customer service I have experienced in a Lowe's. I stood in the customer service area for 30 minutes with numerous associates walking back and forth behind the counter that didn't even bother to ask what I needed. They were not helping other people at the time. After the one person that actually was working saw me and asked what I needed I found out I had to go to a different location in the store for an order pickup. I then stood there until the same person saw me again, asked if I had been helped, and since I hadn't she called the person to get back to their position. As I observed a number of employees interacting with each other and customers I would say the issues with this location is clearly a leadership problem. read more

I use this Lowe's often. It is the only one close to us. Today I spent a few hundred dollars total. One item was 193 pounds. I asked for help loading. Waiting 10 min - ok that's fine - then NOBODY to help load it in the truck. Really???? Ummm what did they think I was going to do??? I couldn't lift it in the store so what would they think I could then lift it into the truck. Stopped by here after picking up baseboards from another home improvement establishment to simply buy a small can of paint. Asked a male employee in the paint aisle for help to pick out a glossy white paint for these baseboards in which he replied "I have no idea what base A,B or C means, but this one would probably be good! You're welcome beautiful" and handed me a random can of paint. Not feeling confident in his selection and also feeling like a typical female in a home improvement store, I stopped another female employee before paying at the register and asked for advice in which she replied "No way, this base won't work! Go find something else". She didn't walk me back to the paint section which was 10 feet away to find a new one, so I picked my own with high hopes and fingers crossed. Unhelpful. On a Saturday, one of the worst experiences I've had at a Lowe's. Bought a grill and person in department had no knowledge of the products he was selling. Worse than that when asked for comparison, he started stating the complete opposite of everything I had read on the internet. I eventually chose one and was supposed to be ready on Wednesday. Never received a call. I finally called on Friday and they had no records to assemble and me picking the grill. The woman who helped me at that point was very nice and followed through stating that grill was ready but no one had updated system. Lastly, the must have a rodent problem because they have rat boxes (poison) right by the front door. Not very appealing. read more
