On 11/22/22 I opened a new line for credit and purchased a 36" Blackstone griddle. At the time of purchase I was given the offer to have the grill assembled and ready for pickup on Friday 11/26 to which I agreed. Friday comes and goes and on Saturday morning I call the store to ask for status. After calling on several occasions and allowing the phone to ring for over five minutes straight I finally get ahold of a customer service associate. They advise that the grill had not yet been assembled and that the next opportunity would be on Tuesday 11/30. Understood, it was the day after thanksgiving and they were probably incredibly busy. Tuesday comes and no contact from lowe's to confirm completion. I try calling on Wednesday again on several occasions and several rings. Finally get through and advised that the grill was not yet assembled and would be assembled on Thursday or Friday and they will make sure to notify me of completion. Saturday comes and again I'm unable to get a hold of someone via phone. I decide to go to the store and check status. They go to their receiving area and come back with an assembled grill but it is loaded with dust. I didn't have a truck with me so told them I would return the next day to pick up. I come back the next day to pick up and the assistant manager offers me 30% due to the state of the grill as the lid didn't close correctly, there were visible scratches, and even one of the shelves was bent. It honestly looked like they never assembled a new grill and gave me an assembled floor model. They have now told me they would have a new grill assembled for me by the next Tuesday. As of this writing, almost two full weeks after my purchase, I still have no grill and feel outright disappointed by the utter lack of service from this store. I am not one to complain but this low level of service is outrageous. I am now regretting that line of credit. I really hope this store addresses this matter properly. I expect much more read more

Worst customer service from a company I think we've ever received. We've made large purchases from the Lutz location since our relocation to Tampa from Illinois. Their lack of care and even bold statements around refusing returns (when they know the product is from their store because no one else carries it) is abhorrent. Treated my husband like a thief, he didn't have a receipt it doesn't mean he walked product out of your store, he just didn't have my debit card with him! I'll gladly drive the distance to be serviced at Home Depot, they don't pick and choose how to uphold policies and they treat their customers with respect. read more

Let me say that the fellow we finally got to help us in the garden section was knowledgeable and friendly. But getting someone's assistance was absurd. I had to go ask a guy all the way at the front and he told me that the only people who could help me were hanging out outside the fence and I could go ask them. There were a few people on cash registers but I guess he couldn't leave or call the guys to help. I went over to the fence area and discovered it's an employee only section. I could see two young employees standing with another guy their age chatting and holding rocks (not to be confused with loading the rocks). After five minutes of waiting, sweating and waiting some more, I tried again and located the one other person not on the register. He is the reason we left with what we needed. So disappointed in Lowe's. Unfortunately life happens and on Christmas Eve appliance goes down. Hey stuff happens. Get to Lowe's they don't have much available, not their fault. I spend three hours with an associate ordering for delivery on Monday. Now it's Monday and my stove was canceled along with my warranty that covered the additional appliances I bought. No phone call or email regarding my order. I call the store no help. The person that was "helping" me said they sent you an email. No email was received and guess why the person that canceled my order transposed my email. By the way my email is easy. Also they forgot to cancel the range cord when they canceled my range. At this point I would have to try to find this stove somewhere else or reorder and wait till February. Lowe's needs to do much better. Lowes your inventory and customer communication needs to be much better. read more

If you need anything installed you better just drive to Home Depot. We bought a microwave. they said we would be called in a few days and install would be next week. It is now 3 weeks in and I had to call them. Only to find our microwave was not in stock. After getting angry they found one in 5 minutes. Then no call for install, just a text a week later giving us one choice of install time and only allowed a one comment response. Not sure why anyone shops here. Just terrible customer service. Then my flooring never comes on the truck as expected from one store 15 miles away. It took 10 days to get my flooring to be delivered from one store to the other. If I could give a zero I would. This Lutz Lowe's has the worst customer service! I was looking for a shepherd hook for my bird feeder. I go online and it shows 15 in stock at Lutz Lowe's. I almost ordered and paid for curb pick up but decided to go into store. I went within 20 minutes of checking online. I get there and ask someone where to find them. He directs me and now there. I find him again and ask if they would be any place else. Nope we must not have any. I say you show 15 in stock. He and another employee roll their eyes at me. So I walked away and ask another employee. He said I am just a cashier and have no idea. I go to customer service and she looks up product number, yes we have 15 in stock. Her attitude was like I was bothering her. She said let me get one of the guys outside to find them. I said I already ask them and they were no help. She said let me get one of the inside guys. The guy comes over again with an attitude! He looked through boxes and never found them either. I wonder what would have happened if I would have ordered online for curb pick up. I understand inventory issues happen but NO-ONE in this store wanted to help us! After 30 minutes wasted I leave the store with no hook. This is the same store that I had issues with in November with my refrigerator. I gave them another chance tonight but I am done with Lowe's now! I made an online order for fence panels and posts. I checked the status for 16 hours with no status update. When I checked again it said "cancelled". I called the store to find out why and the manager told his associates to do that because they're "busy and don't have enough carts but I'm able to come to the store and buy them". What is the point of offering online orders if you're just going to cancel them due to "lack of carts"?!?!? Not the first time I've had problems with this store. Don't ever order a door with Lowe's at Lutz location.After waiting 5 months I still do not have a door. The manager of the store Michael Armstrong is absolutely horrible. He does not call the customer back and sends others to make phone calls on his behalf. I would highly recommend staying away from any product involving doors or installs otherwise you will never get it right! there on their third attempt because they continue to blame the door manufacturer for making errors when it's probably Lowe's making all the mistakes. So I was excited to see this place open up so close to home since other Lowes stores and the closest Home Depot from me are a bit of a haul. I'll preface my review by saying that I have visited this store many times over the past few months as I consider myself a home project novice, but I attempt to do a lot myself. Of the three most recent visits I've had here, only one has been positive and that was an occasion to get a couple of house keys cut after having my locks changed. The gentleman who assisted me was very upbeat and helpful, not to mention quick when I went in to get duplicate keys made. The tides have changed, however, since that visit. A couple of weeks ago I went in looking for some parts for a plantation shutter that needed to be replaced. I realized I was there on a Saturday afternoon and was more than happy to wait my turn as I encountered an employee in the blinds area. She was on the phone and I patiently waited for her to finish her conversation. When I asked her about the part I was looking for, she turned to me and advised they don't sell parts only entire blind assemblies. So I, in turn, asked her if she knew where I could find someone who may sell parts or if she thought maybe Home Depot would sell these items, since she is an expert in blinds, I was assuming. She curtly advised me that she "doesn't work at Home Depot." I was a bit taken aback by her rude response and thanked her for her time upon which she smugly advised me to "Have a very nice day" before she picked up the phone again and resumed another phone call. I went to Home Depot down the road and was assisted by the most helpful gentleman in their blinds department, who didn't have the part but was more than happy to give me a number to a manufacturer and another website where I could likely find what I was looking for. My last interaction, that prompted me to finally write this review occurred yesterday. Over the weekend my at least 10 year old dryer stopped functioning. I did some research online and found a replacement Whirlpool dryer at Lowes, Home Depot, and Famous Tate all advertised online at the same price. I decided to try Lowes since it was closest to home. I arrived at the store around 10am when there were very few people in the store. There appeared to be two people in the appliance area, one of which was assisting another customer, and another who was behind the register/desk. I walked around, found the model I wanted and was pleasantly surprised that it was $50 cheaper than what they had it listed for online. I tried to get the attention of the gentleman who was behind the register but by this time he had disappeared and was down another aisle talking to another employee, despite him having seen me standing in the aisle in front of him for at least 10 minutes. By this time the female in this department assisting the other customer had acknowledged me and was finishing up with the customer she was helping. When she finally asked what I needed she looked up the model I wanted and determined this store didn't have any in stock and it would be 5-7 days before they had it available. I asked if they can try and locate one at another store and, if so, could it be delivered from that location to my home. She did confirm that the Bruce B Downs store had 3 in stock and tried to call over there. While she was on the phone, the other guy who works in this area who ignored me for at least 15 minutes prior, returned and asked if I needed help at this point. Once the associate helping me hung up the phone, she advised that she couldn't get anyone on the phone, but that if I wanted it out of their stock I would have to go there and purchase it there or call them myself to secure it over the phone with a deposit. I was a bit taken back yet again as these are corporate stores, and they obviously have the ability to check stock at other stores, so why are they making customers run all over town trying to locate items for them to sell? Needless to say, I left and drove farther to the Bruce B Downs store and secured the dryer there and set up the delivery. I don't think it's all Lowes stores as I have frequented many others, but the customer service at this location is truly lacking. If it was just one occasion, I'd be willing to call it a one off visit, but it seems every time I go in here and need assistance, no one is really willing to help nor do they care. Really makes me question if I will come back to this place or just bite the bullet and drive a bit further to the Home Depot down the road. read more

Bought a new washer and dryer. Wanted to just take it home with me but was convinced to use the free delivery. I received a call and got my 4 hour delivery window and that has came and went. Never got a phone call telling me oh by the way, we are not coming. I had to call the main delivery office in another part of the state in order to find out what happened. Still don't know and now my delivery is scheduled for tomorrow some time. Mean while I'm sitting in the laundromat doing my family's laundry because we still don't have a washer or dryer. read more

I told them it said online that it was in stock and would be delivered this week. They still have not updated their online system and it shows available for pickup next week now. No one has returned my call so when I called back, I asked for a supervisor and received a snippy person named Matthew, who was less than willing to be sympathetic to my situation. I asked them if he was willing to help me to get another microwave as soon as possible, or if you wanted me to just cancel my order, cut up my credit card, and stop spending my thousands of dollars in his store. He replied with the simple do you want me to cancel it? Which they did. They have lost my business and respect forever. Having spent over $10,000 there in the last year since moving here, I will never step foot in their stores again or spend another Penny online. read more

This place is not a regular Lowe's. The manager even told me that this is more of a "showroom" store. They don't have hardly anything other than like DIY projects. The lumber section is very limited and the shelves are hardly ever stocked. It's really a joke. I have been disappointed multiple times. I really try to give it a chance but I end up going to Home Depot down the road 8/10 times. I wish they were better but I have been frustrated with their lack of just about anything you need and would expect. This is a Target that sells some lumber. Also you can't buy anything by the foot. read more

I recently decided to do touch up painting in my six year old home and needed small quantities of three different colors. I am methodical, not fast or in a hurry, and I went to Lowes three different times with chips of paint to match. I was helped by two young ladies and one young man on my three trips and the match of all three colors is excellent. Good service, great performance. read more

If you like overpriced, sub-standard, builder's grade crap, sold with absolute apathy toward the customer, then this is your store! I started a kitchen remodel with Lowe's. Finished it with other stores. We were contacted shortly after ordering almost $20,000 of materials by a "project manager" who claimed she would contact us with updates periodically. I never heard from her again. Our cabinets were not shipped as a full order which would have been fine if someone would have notified us, but we were 2 weeks into the remodel when we were called to schedule a second delivery 3 weeks out. At that point, I had already had our contractor start ripping our kitchen out, thinking there would be no delay in the installation. I had to call the corporate office to get the delivery date moved up, but they refused to expedite the shipping or to ship through a reliable carrier. The day we were supposed to get our cabinets, someone from the carrier company called and said their truck was stopped by the DOT for being "overloaded." I'm not sure how they do that to a box truck. Assistant manager Dante felt he didn't need to explain to me why I wasn't informed of the partial shipment. (I have 11,000 reasons why) and a Store manager who was filling in for the actual store manager said it would be easy for them to make the supplier use an expedited shipping method, but they prefer to protect their business relationship and let the supplier handle it. With that kind of mistake, it should be the supplier who is worried about protecting the business relationship. There was a general attitude of "not my problem" from the corporate office to the associates that prompted me to take my business elsewhere. I only gave them 2 stars because they didn't manage to mess up the paint we ordered. After being refunded almost $8,000, we saved enough on materials purchased at other locations to buy a Samsung 80 inch 4K tv, and that was with everything on sale and with a military discount. (25% off). The store is convenient if a pipe is leaking or you need a garden hose, but if you have a major renovation, hire a contractor and use their suppliers. You'll save money and be happier with the results. Don't expect any form of customer service from this franchise. It isn't their problem, and the customer is second. read more

I don't think there's such a thing as a bad Lowes location. It's so well organized and it makes it a cinch to find anything you need. I prefer it to Home Depot hands down. The employees are great and always quick to help you tote stuff to your car. So thankful they got a store in Land O Lakes! read more

It's really weird that the parking lot is full but the store was pretty deserted except for the Lowevakians standing about.They have really shiny museum quality floors though,which would be perfect for hooning go-karts on after hours.They may want to go in that direction should the whole designer mulch thing not pan out. read more

BUYER BEWARE - do NOT buy a fence with installation from Lowe's. The process started out good enough, sales guy was awesome, Tracy Showalter was great, but that is where the good ends and the nightmare begins. I signed the contract and Lowe's charged my credit card the full amount, something I was told would not happen until I was contacted to set up installation. Three weeks later I still had not heard fro them. I tried calling the store many times and was always hung up on. When I finally got a manager to listen to me, installation was scheduled, but I would have to wait another 3 weeks for that. Lowe's was supposed to deliver all fencing product day before, they tried to deliver it 4 days early (had to decline as it would not be safe for that long). When they did deliver it, I was told putting it in the back yard would not be an issue but when they showed up, the gentleman told me he could not do that, it was a curbside delivery only and he dropped it in my front yard! Installation is handled by a subcontractor. They showed up, could not speak English so I had no means to communicate with them, they destroyed my lawn completely. All the grass was tore up and their was dirt EVERYWHERE; I called their manager who then told me "We do it in one day, what do you want form us, this is our process". Additionally, one of the better selling points of this fence was that each post is set with a 60 pound bag of concrete. Well, this is not exactly true. The dry unmixed concrete dust is poured in the hole where it is up to "the moisture in the ground" to turn it into actual concrete. The fence posts wobble and are anything but secure. I can't let my dogs in the yard for fear they will knock the whole fence over. This has been hands down the WORST experience in my life read more

I just sat on the phone 4 / 20 minutes total before I got to the building I was on the phone for 10 minutes so I decided to go to the customer service area where my phone call was being put off by over 7 employees for the next 10 minutes I watched the employees though somewhere busy others were sitting there in front of their desk or their computer watching others several were there talking to each other employees not customer at some point there were over 8 people in the Box where my phone call was continuing to rent people leaving employees and coming back in finally somebody picked up the phone and answer my phone call. This is not the first time this has happened to me but is the first time I decided to investigate and watching person how they just ignore customers I've been in this store several times where unlike Home Depot the employees run or walk away from you when they see you coming towards them with an obvious I have a question on my face or with my demeanor this store is not very helpful at all when it comes to customer service or taking care of the customer in my eyes. They need to go back to customer service class 101 and learn how to take care of and keep customers to this is one reason that I will not and I do not go there as much as I do or have to it's because of their customer service to the people for the people and no I'm not Morgan & Morgan read more
