They also argued that since I accepted the unit they ordered, I was responsible for checking that the unit was the correct size - even though I had provided them with the correct specs and relied on them to order the replacement correctly. Put differently, they wanted me to verify that they placed the order correctly before paying for the unit. So, I'm out $800 dollars because the owners of the store failed to acknowledge their mistake in ordering the wrong unit and wouldn't even attempt to make me whole by ordering the correct one.
