Ai is not making things better. I just tried to buy something from Lowes.com where I have an account. It has become so "security" conscious that it requires a code to be sent to my email. Fine. problem being that once I got the code the website sent me to a new page basically requiring my information again. By the time I had reentered the information the code had expired. I had to get a new code. 3 times of this and I was locked out of my account. I bought the item at Home Depot instead and did it without signing in to my account. They also wanted to send a code to my email.... This one I got through quickly enough to place the order.... This is not customer service. Ai is not making things better. read more

I apologize for having to leave a review like this. This does not make my day. I also don't make reviews with sole purpose of tanking the store. I want to tell Lowes that, I have lived in Marion, IN for just over a year. For convenience sake, I typically go to Lowe's for pretty much all of my raw lumber needs. The indoor lumber. I'm mainly into the 1x4's, 1x10's or 1x12's all 6ft, because the size of my truck bed. I have never had much of an issue with Service. However, I have spent thousands of dollars in your store for just wood alone. But the quality is absolutely horrible. If a board is not warped, then it has too many knots in it. Then on top of that I have learned quickly to look at every edge of the boards for embedded or partially embedded STAPLES. Is there no QI of the product during delivery or stocking. I know someone has put the product there. I spend way too much time going through all the pieces, to find one that suits my needs. I just don't get it. I go enter the store with a plan, and it never works out. I've pointed out pieces to employees. No one cares. They don't offer to help me. Your indoor wood product is abysmal. It definitely is not worth what I pay for it. read more

With the exception of a few associates this Lowes has to be by far one of the worse employee that I have experienced in the past 10 years. The majority of associates have no clue where anything is and will normally visit with their co-workers completely ignoring you and don't dare interrupt them or you get a snotty look and point in a general direction of "it's either in aisle 8 or 35" ( not even close ) thank goodness for a contractor listening to our question. He just shook his head. There are a couple of people in electrical, appliance and contracting back counter who are really polite and helpful. Otherwise, manager should focus his associates on customer service, knowing where items are really at and be polite. read more

This store does not stand by its products. It does not provide remotely good customer service. The assistant manager on duty today was so unprofessional and rude that I will never step foot in this store again. The company has abhorrent policies and does not provide even a spec of quality customer care. I would recommend you go literally anywhere else. read more

14 months into a window project in Marion, Indiana and currently still not done with two large windows installed with dents. Have had 5 different people now apologize profusely with promises to get it corrected Have gone four months with a window that can not lock to my 1 year old son and 4 year old daughters room. May 9, 2022 A new Lowe's employee came to our house -He was frustrated because the mull strips "would take five minutes to correct" -He pulled up our file and showed that it was all blank, nothing was there -He said the lock to the window STILL had not been ordered and he had no idea why -Reached out to sales rep again and Pella windows rep. Every time I do here and I checked their fliers or they're there at sells ads before I get there they never once ever had anything in the cell as it's in the damn store or they don't have it in the store that's in the so I had you asked a customer service like what aisle is this in and they send me to an aisle and is nowhere near even what I was asking about it's not even the same shape color are nothing if not in that I owe at all because it works here you just walk around and twiddle your thumbs because nobody knows nothing nobody can help me with nothing out the time they didn't know or do you want me to call and find out why I'm not asking you because I think is healthy for me no never mind I'll find it myself thank you but I just had that experience with it I guess so I don't recommend it go to Menards or Ace Hardware place I don't know read more

Lowes is where I get most all my building materials & homeware stuff, this is my 1st complaint bout them, I received a propane tower heater for Xmas, it was bought on Black Friday, opened it & it was damaged, I took it back it had been ordered online, they didn't have more of them in store or at their local warehouse, the worker said I could have the money put back on the credit card, & jus reorder it, getting same deal, it didn't work out that way, they didn't offer to replace it with different model or anything, lowes has usually made things right with me & others I know. Extremely inattentive staff... We walked in Lowe's for about 10 minutes with no staff recognizing that we needed assistance... We had two employees look at us and walk away and they never came back... Eventually we found what we needed... After about 20 minutes or so... We walked up on two employees talking and when we walked up they stopped talking and one gave us a dirty look. They also were rude. This review is going to be all about the My Lowes card. If you do not have one of these, you should get one immediately. Of course, that's based on the assumption that you actually shop at Lowe's. I recently purchased numerous items at a Lowe's in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Working on a project on a house that I own down there. In the rush to get home, loaded up all the extra stuff that I didn't need, and brought it back to Indiana with me. A week later, I finally get to the local Lowes. The head cashier was absolutely phenomenal! Took the receipts that I had, scanned the My Lowes card repeatedly and every item that I brought into the store was refunded or credited! As I said, if you don't have one of these accounts, make sure you get a My Lowes card!! This Lowe's and the way I was treated, deserves four stars! read more

I ordered a shower door online, went to pick It up and the Lowes employee at the customer service desk asked if she could help me. After telling her I was here to pick up a shower door, she took two phone calls, helped another employee, then she told another employee she was going to lunch. She didn't give me any indication as to what I was to do or the status of getting the door. I waited 30 minutes and she never returned to help me nor did she have another employee help me. After 30 minutes had gone by another employee tells me that they were unloading a truck and I'd have to wait at least another hour. So I drove 20 minutes to Lowe's, waited over 45 minutes, then 20 minutes back without the shower door. Then I explained to my customer that they wouldn't have a working bathroom until tomorrow when I will drive 20 minutes to Lowe's and attempt to get the shower door again. I shop at the Marion, Indiana Lowe's several times a week and customer service has had issues in the past, but it is getting worse and worse. More often than not the customer service is unsatisfactory. read more

I recently purchased new carpet for a small home in Marion. The experience was very positive. It only took a little over a week for the whole process from measuring, ordering, and installation. When an item is not stocked and they say kokomo has one you can pick it up there you should call to see if it's there before you travel there. The website apparently doesn't update after an item is purchased and I wasted a lot of time for no reason. Maybe the store could call the other store to confirm. Other than that I've always had great customer service just want people to be aware of this issue so you don't drive all over for no reason. read more
