Need a way to leave a negative star rating. Absolutely horrible experience! Wanted trex decking and everything from ordering to delivery was a nightmare. Stuff in my online cart would show as available until I put in my zip code and then it was suddenly out of stock. However if I put in the zip code of the town 10 miles over, it was suddenly available again. What's up with that? So I had to pay for delivery to a friend's house and then figure out how to move 400 lbs of 16' long boards on my own. And there was a promotion where you got a grill if you ordered enough trex. Well, I ordered more than enough, but never got the grill. And customer service is nothing but a joke. They offered me a $25 gift card. Instead of the $200 grill. Won't let me talk to a supervisor, won't compensate for their failures or make an effort to make it right. Don't go to lowes! read more

What's happening at Lowe's is deplorable. I had to replace many appliances when I moved into a house in Midland. I worked with a salesman in the kitchen area. The microwave and stove vent I ordered which were to be delivered within a few days suddenly became unavailable. Same for the stove I ordered. The salesman said he would find "something comparable." The stove arrived and I paid extra for its installation but it is nothing like my original choice. Lastly, the refrigerator I ordered arrived damaged. I sent it back after having a heated discussion with a delivery team who barely spoke English. A second refrigerator was ordered and shipped across state. The delivery people, also non-English speakers, stated they were unable to install it because I did not have the proper cord. I paid for the cord which the salesman said was the correct one when I bought the fridge. It had been five weeks since I ordered it. I sent it back with the delivery team and asked for a credit on my account. I ordered a different refrigerator from a local store (not big box), it arrived a week later and was installed the same day. No extra charge, no problems. You may think from the sounds of my review that I am prejudiced against non-English speaking persons. Wrong! I teach English to students who come from other countries who want to learn the English language. If Lowe's uses non-English speakers to handle deliveries and such, Lowe's should invest in their education. read more

Discovered Lowe's 90 day return policy yesterday. Went to return some plumbing fittings yesterday. They wouldn't accept because the original purchase was over 90 days ago. They will go one year is you used there credit card. Zero chance of that know! read more

I ordered Window Blinds from Lowes. When I opened the box all the indivual louvers were not attached and slide out. I called the 800 number for customer support, and after 55 minutes no one answered read more

We bought quartz countertops from Lowe's. We noticed there was a chip on the edge and called the store. The store had us call the third party that installed them. Unfortunately they aren't affiliated with Lowe's anymore. I called the store manager and instead of honoring the warranty he negotiated the warranty with me and said if I paid $75 he would have it fixed. This was many emails and phone calls ago and they still haven't fixed our countertop. Beware of using Lowe's they don't honor their warranty and they don't follow through with what they promised. We still have the chip in the countertop and we are out an additional $75. Robert L read more

We ordered a bathroom vanity on December 20, 2022. It arrived 6-7 weeks later and it was broken. The store associate said they would re-order and put a rush on it so it would only take 4 weeks instead of 6-8. Well, after many phone calls to them - not them to us - we finally got our vanity top on April 17, 2023. 17 WEEKS FROM THE ORIGINAL ORDER DATE. And they didn't even call us to tell us it was in. My husband stopped in to see, as we had on many occasions, when we were told, "It should be here on this day". He waited 15-20 minutes for someone from the back to bring it up and while he waited he asked for the manager - Robert Avery, whom he had multiple conversations with, and guess what?! He was in a meeting - how convenient. Has anyone called us to apologize or ask if our countertop was ok - NO! We have been a customer of Lowe's for over 20 years and have spent a lot of money there for various building projects, but we will not be going back! They have lost a loyal customer! read more

I've been shopping for kitchen cabinets. Been to all the big box stores. The Ladies in the kitchen cabinet department are some of the most knowledgeable folks I've spoken with. Very helpful with all aspects of the selection process. One lady took my sample of a counter top to see if she could get the size and edging style the other stores did not offer. She could and did. Would highly recommend checking with them if you are in the market for cabinets. read more
