Worst Lowe's ever, customer service is a joke!! not educated on their lifetime warranty policies, and also wont help you.

I needed several specific small items that I could not get at the "competition's store" (HD) so I was forced to deal with this location which is not close to my home. I ordered my items online and the following day I went to the store and a young employee retrieved my purchase from the "locker" that they store purchased items in. Easy and painless transaction. I will never shop here again. Purchased washer and dryer and needed to return. We were told someone would come pick it up and would call with a window. After two days of back and forth with distribution center. No one ever called or showed up or called and actually lied and said we wanted to cancel. Completely unacceptable and will be calling the better business bureau. read more

Service in this store is terrible, want to order a new door handle for my Larson screen door . The woman that works in the windows , I think her name was Charlotte, was unhelpful, rude and lazy. Her whole thing was if , I didn't have the model number, she couldn't help me order the replacement handle. Well that was nonsense was able to go to the Larson website and order the handle without the model number because that sticker is long gone from my door. It took me a whoop amount of time to figure this all out, I don't know about 5 minutes. Larson has this feature order parts by images . Who knew , but I guess if customers service is not your priority , "screw the customer we already got his money , maybe he'll buy another door when all they need is a handle " . Went to Lowe's Morganville NJ went to buy several hundred dollars of Tools . There was no one in tool area for at least 20 min I went to find someone to help me he paged someone waited another 15 min in tool area No one came to help me. I definitely Don't recommend this store and I think Home Depot has much more knowledgeable help or jst help in general . It was clear to me No one working in this Lowe's cared that I walked out . The store is on Auto pilot no wonder there closing stores . It never was this way . This store is definitely miss managed and u Dee staffed . I have been intsalling windows in my home in stages over the past 12 months. Cost of project is north of $20,000. Numerous issues with the installation contractor including missing scheduled install dates, walking off the job, foam spray running down the exterior walls which damaged my vinyl siding, etc. The support from Lowes management is non existant. The supervisor at the Marlboro location, Elio, is a ghost. I have been waiting for 3 weeks for him to assist in the compensation of my damaged vinyl siding. His employees at customer service cannot offer anything aside from a $25 gift card. I just purchased 2 additional windows for install yesterday with 6 windows remaining. I will 100% never do business with Lowes again and will use Home Depot to finish the job. Thank you Elio for cementing my exit as a Lowes customer for life. read more

I recently discovered that a yet to be used appliance I purchased had a defect. Although it was past the store policy time to allow an exchange, one of the managers was able to help me. I explained the situation, showed him pictures of the problem item, and, as a courtesy, allowed me to do an exchange. His name is Dhaval and allowing me this grace will keep me a loyal customer of Lowe's, and this store, for many years to come. read more

If you get any power tools double check the box, they take returned items that have missing pieces and put them back on the floor.

I'm a big fan of Lowe's. This location is a bit of a trek for me but it's usually worth it. I avoid this section of Rt. 9 like the Corona Virus but you gotta do what you gotta do. They have different things here than the Howell Lowe's so If you're looking for something in particular, check online and you might be surprised by what this store has. I've never had a problem with finding stuff or the cashier's. The store is clean as is the parking lot. read more

Big box home improvement and garden center. I have been here at least 3 times. Exeprience: unless you know exactly where to find exactly what it is you are looking for and do not need to interact with any of the employees than it's okay. But if like me, you will ask the location of items, return policy, or have any other questions/conversations... this place blows. I asked for the locations of where keys were made and the employee was rolling her eyes and annoyed. I then proceeded to make copies of 3 keys and asked if all them could be different and which designs I can use. The male employee told me what section I can pick from. And In return, only one of the keys had a design. He proceeded to argue with me about it and tell me he didn't know that the keys I chose wouldnt work for the copies. I mean hey, I did ask and you did make a recommendation. He stated that from far away he thought the keys looked like they could be made into the design I wanted but it's not his fault that he didn't make the distinction right away because they look similar. After saying to him I don't want to argue just make the keys in whatever design is available. After that I asked him what would happen to my house keys that I don't want, he said it's put in a box with other discarded keys. I said those are my house keys and I would like for it to be destroyed right now. He made a face and destroyed them. After this terrible experience that lasted 20 min. I went to the register, only 1 was available and there were 9 people on line. There's a big sign at the register that says if there are more than 3 people on line they will open another one, didn't happen. The cashier broke my plant that I bought while scanning it. I didn't notice until I got home. Overall: avoid this place because the people who work here make the shopping and all other experiences here terrible. read more

Applied for a P/T job at Lowes in Marlboro, NJ, they hired me on the spot I did the drug test and background check (I have a bad mark on my record from 14 years ago). Lowe's in Morganville can get very hectic, but when you find a representative to assist you, can be helpful. I wanted to commend on the painting department in Marlboro R-9, during 7-6, and the men there were of great assistance, gave good advice and tips for painting. Is the best customer service in the store, not that the other staff weren't, but I was painting over my entire basement and dealt with that department a lot. read more

I wasnt going to say anything but my conversation with my 73 yr old mother really upset me. She had so many problems ordering carpet from lowes and on top of that they over measured the room by feet of excess that the insulators said they were intitled to keep tho she paid for, adding insult to injury. I think ,over all, Lowes is good warehouse store. I live in Monroe Township and have equal access to the East Brunswick and Marlboro stores. Over the past six months I have had several projects around my home. These projects have involved electrical, plumbing, light concrete work , shopping for lawn tools and some wood work. Worst Lowes around here. Im a frequent customer mainly bc my husband prefers them over HOME DEPOT. They've screwed up our delivery sending an empty truck to another store claiming to have sent half our order. Every time I go there they honor prices if their labels are wrong and look up my credit card at the register but today they wouldn't do any of that and were beyond nasty about it. I am a Home Depot shopper mostly due to location. Once in a great while, when I am traveling, I find myself needing something and the Lowe's is the closest option. Amazing I was able to go into the store, find the three different things I needed (without needing to discover where the isles were hidden), and get out quickly. I always felt that this Lowes had the best customer service, but today they definitely went above and beyond. One of their employees, I believe his name is Rasco noticed that I had just shut my finger in my car door. He immediately offered to help and went back inside for some ice. In the mean time as I am standing next to my car, not being able to move or even take a look at my hand which was in so much pain, John walked out and seeing me there holding my hand ask if I was ok. And to make a long story short, they took care of my hand and made sure that I was able to drive home. I don't know what I would've done without their help. Worst customer service I've experienced in years. Rude associate, 20s , thin, totally ignored me requesting his assistance. Then another associate who was supposed to cut the lumber I was about to purchase but was also rude and unhelpful, told me " I'm not going to do it tonight!" I asked to speak with the manager on duty at the cashier area and again was met with rude questions asking me WHY i wanted to speak to a manager, My second trip to Lowe's in my life.... and the last!! Horrible Service. Paid for then Waited 25 minutes for someone to unlock 3 chairs. Asked twice for help. Finally Joe told me only 1 person can do it and she's too busy. There were many workers walking around not doing anything. Here's an idea...give them a key! Then waited another 15 minutes for a refund. I understand things are not normal but when the customer service associates are chatting with people about where they used to live when there are 15 people in line it's an issue. Sue, our designer, has been so patient with us and helpful in choosing all the components and making recommendations. They even provide a Project Plan Binder with all of the details of the project. Don't buy any big items at this store. Bought a 250lb grill for over 700.00. Had to rent a truck to get it home. Took 3 men to get it off the truck. It was so heavy they opened the box on the front lawn and carried it in piece by piece. Started to assemble the grill and two main parts are damaged. Called the store only to be told I have to return the whole grill. They would not take the damaged pieces back, open another grill and give me the replacement pieces. I have to wait 10 days to get them from the manufacturer. This is not right. They could very easily open another box and replace the pieces. Thanks Lowe's. Not shopping at your store. read more

Contacted Lowe's for new windows and patio door. Paid in full before order was even placed, as this is their policy, without any reservation. 1. Untimely delivery - causing me to take off work, unnecessarily - 2.5 hours late without even as much as a call. 2.Window installation (I THOUGHT) went without a glitch. Then I find unplugged windows, which I informed Lowe's about more than a week and a half ago without my promised plugs yet received. 3. Today while installing window treatment, I find damage to my window sill, obviously caused by equipment used to install/uninstall as there's a 1/4" gauge in the sill. 4. And, lastly, A SHIT JOB on the patio door with screws sticking out of the screen door! Looks like the white screws that were meant to go on the patio door were misplaced - so why not just slap on these brown ones that stick out an inch and are easy to rip the bottom of your foot open with. Lowe's = POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A SHIT JOB! Will never use them again! I want to know from Pella Windows if this is how their patio doors are supposed to look. SHAME ON YOU! My husband and I have nothing but trouble with this Lowe's for the past four years. Their delivery system is terrible. The delivery/ installers on a refrigerator left it sitting in the middle of my living room and told my husband to rip the molding from around our kitchen door and then call them back. After reading the paper POSTED on the freezer door, my husband & son removed the doors, slid the refrigerator into our kitchen and put the doors back on. So much for Lowe's crack delivery/installers and that was the best delivery experience we've had. Oh, that one star should actually be a negative star! read more
