I ordered Graber shutter from Lowers. They sent someone measured it for us, it turned out the measurement of the shutters more than half of them were wrong! And there's big gaps between my windows and the shutters! I complained to them, they said my windows were not square enough so I could not expect they can fit very well! After I complained to them again, and waited another 5 weeks, they have someone came into my home and reinstalled some of the window shutters. My wift said we could not expect they can fix every gaps on the windows, since they said that was normal, even big gaps between four sides of the windows and shutters! I know my relative had her shutters installed that fit her windows perfectly good! We have paid, if I can choose, I can get the money back and go for the other company. I needed to return an online order and even though it was complicated for them to figure out it was pretty easy and I got a full refund.

If you're looking for helpful service, do not come here. I came in to purchase checkered vinyl flooring, so I asked the guy in flooring if he could help me. He said they only have 10 ft in stock when online it said they had over 100ft. I asked if there was any backstock and he said no. Then I look on the floor and see they have a large roll wrapped up and low and behold, it's the checkered flooring. He then tells me that he's the only one so he can't get it cut for me until tomorrow. I traveled over 30 minutes to come pick this up. One guy then comes over and helps to cut it. They were struggling with even getting the machine to work to count out the feet. Once it's all wrapped up they throw it on top of my cart and I proceed to check out. Once I get to my car and try to unload it, I realize it's definitely over 100lbs and I can't even pick it up. I'm baffled at how they allowed me to walk out with it being that heavy and didn't offer to help me load it. I called the store asking if they could send someone to help me load it and they said someone would be right out. I waited about 10 minutes before someone in the parking lot asked if I needed help and we got it loaded. This was an awful experience and this location definitely needs work. read more

It's laid out just like my usual Lowe's in Lynnwood, WA except this is Murray, UT. I just needed white marking paint to mark out some locations. I knew right where to find it. Seems like a nice Lowe's with friendly service. I wish Lowe's would have self-checkout like Home Depot. read more

Unlike Home Depot, there is hardly anybody that works here. If you need help, good luck. Fortunately I just needed paint and called before hand from Home Depot since they didn't have my paint in five gallons, to see if Lowe's had it. I walked up to the lady working in paint and she was so put out by my numerous paint questions. Huh don't you work here? Even my contractor just stared at her in mere shock. As my coolness was wearing off, she saw that I was becoming short. It seemed she didn't want to color match, or mix anything, especially a five gallon paint because she asked my contractor to lift it for her. Ha! Lady you are in the wrong job. After mixing the first 5 gallons. I needed deck paint. That was an ordeal in itself. My contractor asked if it didn't match, if we could return it since Home Depot allows you to do that. She said no. Ok good to know since you carry Valspar and the stupid commercials of the llizards changing colors and not liking the color, they hit home that you can return colors you don't like. Ok but anyway, back to my experience. EVERYTHING here costs more then Home Depot and on top of it, no customer service. The paint openers you get free at HD btw are 49 cents at Lowe's. They nickel and dime everything. NOT HELPFUL. read more

No guarantees that it will remain a 5* but for now their latest performance was most worthy. Just days before memorial day our washer gave out. We searched at literally every single appliance retailer that weekend. The RC Willey salesman was knowledgeable and decent but some of their models differed from the mainstream core available elsewhere. Home Depot's display was crowded with people and crowded with a layout that seemed a bit crammed compared to others. Best Buy had a lot of space but the salesman wasn't as knowledgeable as some of the others. Pricing was within dollars of each other at each place. We were going to buy at Best Buy with the loyalty points tipping the scale but their delivery was a full week out. In fact every place so far was out until Thursday or Friday of the next week which after already going without laundry 3 days before another 6 seemed a little horrifying for a family of 6. We were on our way to Best Buy when we decided to stop at Lowes. It was the furthest out of the way but we found a great price on a great set. Only problem they also had a Thursday date. The appliance manager however suggested we visit Lowes in Murray in that they had more trucks and therefore maybe better availability. We located the set we had seen earlier and engaged with a salesman. We pointed out our predicament with our limited budget and he pointed out that there was a Maytag model that was going to get rotated out so he gave us another 10% off that already decent sales price. Best part was they could deliver next day on a Sunday. Done deal. Delivery guys were on-time, professional and we had no issues with them whatsoever. read more

Lowe's is the best. The employees are friendly and nice. I had window's installed by Lowe's and the experience was great. From the first guy who came to my house and spent the time to show me the windows, He even gave me the price right there before he left. Low pressure easy going very knowledgeable person. The windows showed up on time, The installer was professorial and the windows were installed that day. I will choose Lowe's again. I love my windows they work great and have saved me $$$$ in heating bills. read more

I went to buy a gift for my son and daughter in law for their new home. When I went to the mower department - as soon as the associate saw me looking at mowers - she left the area. I went to another dept and ask for help - they said they would call someone. 25 minutes later - nobody shows. I went back to that dept and ask for someone to help. Finally the guy from paint finally helped me himself. Check out was another joke! The checker kept looking at me like she was afraid I was going to ask her to carry it to my car!!! If you hate working with the public - for hell sake do something else. Lowe's customer service is HORRIBLE! You should be ashamed!!!!! read more

Lowes you give me the blues. Trying separate the contractor items from the homeowner items in this location may have been what the original building was designed for. It sucks. As a contractor that goes through the entire store on a consistent basis I always walk into Lowes and wish it was Home Depot. Prices are not better than HD unless it is their exclusive brands. Where to start with Lowes... I called to verify a sliding glass door was in stock before driving over to pick it up. They transferred my call 5 times before eventually hanging up on me. Every single department told me "oh ill transfer you to ..." Instead of just looking for the $500 door. After wasting so much time I had to drive over and look for myself. Apparently the one employee in Millworks quit a few weeks ago and nobody has replaced him so you are on your own in windows and doors. (An employee told me that) I have the same experience every time I go there. Nobody knows anything about any product. Rarely can someone point me in the right direction to find something. Set up is not intuitive, compatible items never seem to be placed next to each other. 4500 south parking lot is a headache as well. read more

Not one person said hello or asked if they could help. I think we passed at least 10 workers. Some sitting at their desk in kitchen cabinets 6 feet away...still nothing. I like this location because it isn't a mega store and doesn't take a hour ot walk from the nursery end to the lighting department. As ususal it is hard to find a salesperson when you need help, especially in electrical and plumbing. The hardware is the pits, though, poor selection of nuts and bolts at ridiculously inflated prices. It was waaay better when it was Eagle Hardware...they really had a good selection of nuts an bolts. read more

Best customer service I've gotten at this type of store! After going to three different big name hardware/garden stores in search of patio baby eggplants, I started calling locations further from downtown. After being hung up on by a lady saying she would have to walk "all the way to the front" to find out at the Murray location of Home Depot, I called this particular Lowes. The guy on the phone was super nice and walked out to list off all the different types of eggplant plants and how many they had. I got there about 30 mins later to see a tray full of everything I wanted! The lady working at the garden center was able to help me untangle some tomato cages. She also helped me cash out. Did I mention everyone I interacted with during this mission was super friendly and always was willing to help. This may be where I go even with the longer drive from now onward. Their inventory was on point compared to other stores of this nature and the employees were super pleasant. read more

I don't have anything against Home Depot.. I just like Lowe's better. The Bountiful Locations ALWAYS has someone helpful nearby. I get asked multiple times throughout my shopping trips there if I need assistance. Some might find this annoying but since this is not my area of expertise, I find them very helpful. Don't buy your cabinets here. You will have problems. They did not stick to the schedule and put our new kitchen off by a few weeks. There was also damage that took them another two weeks to fix, then they took another two weeks to get the countertop. Bad deal read more

My husband and I visited the Lowes location in Murray, Utah on 4500 S and 469 W on June 11, 2017. We were redirected from another location because we were trying to find an evaporative cooler for our house. We went in with a price and model expectation, we loaded up and we were ready to head to check out. As soon as we begun to walk away, we were approached by a Lowes employee who asked us if we had considered another model, to which we replied, "Yes, but we cannot afford it at this time." The associate went on to explain a current rebate and even after our doubts about it, had continued to talk the product up. After careful consideration we took the employee's advice and switched out the cheaper model for the more expensive Mastercool, because the rebate would offset the extra cost. We had asked about the rebate form for the product which the employee said to get at the front, and after 8 weeks our money would be refunded, which was fine by us so long as the money was coming back. At the front we had requested the rebate form and we were told it was online through Rocky Mountain Power. Three days later we had the evaporative cooler installed and later that night we decided to fill out the form for the rebate. After searching around we found that there was no longer the promised post-purchase rebate ($400) and there was only an "Instant Rebate" of $175.00. We decided to call Lowes and ask them what had happened and we were greeted by a very rude and impatient employee who, not only would not listen to us, insisted they had nothing to do with it and that it was 100% on RMP. We were not able to get ahold of RMP until the next day, and upon talking to an employee they had explained to us that not only was the previous post-purchase rebate discontinued April 17, 2017 (2 months prior to our purchase),the new "instant" initiative was in-stores at check out and Lowes was NOT a participating retailer. They told me they had contacted Lowes and requested their promotion to be taken down. They were as baffled as I was that the promotion was still up for so much longer after the program had ended. I went in later that day to get an explanation from the manager and was given nothing but a run-around. I was told Lowe's had nothing to do with the rebate and it was RMP, this was nothing new. I was confused on how Lowe's was not running their stores professionally enough to know which information was current or out of date. I still do not understand how it is RMP's responsibility to go in and update labels for them. Then I was told I had no proof RMP contacted them to take down the rebate promotion, it was all a matter of "He said, she said" and that I should have "read the fine print" that the rebate could change at any time. This translates to me as a customer that I need to double check a store's labeling to ensure I am getting the correct information and that the employees do not need to be properly educated on the store's business in order to sell their products. I feel extremely mislead, lied to and only purchased an expensive product because of false advertising. I am satisfied with the product I bought and am happy to have it, considering the rising temperatures. However, I will never shop at any Lowe's again now or in the future, and I will be giving all of my customer business to someone else. read more
