Lowe's refused to honor their own online price in-store, and customer service helpfully sent me back to the aisle to verify it on my own. Their "solution" was for me to order the item online for in-store pickup. After placing the order, I waited in my car for nearly 20 minutes and never received the product. Now I'm out almost $600 while I wait for the refund to process. Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere. The customer service here is amazing. I visit this Lowe's more than my barber, dentist, mechanic, and hometown combined. What keeps me coming back, aside from the convenient location right by the freeway exit and fantastic selection, is the help I get here. There are a few gentleman here who have given me some truly invaluable advice through my home improvement journey, advising me through problems, emergencies, and projects just for fun. One of those gentlemen in Mike in hardware. He takes the time to talk to me and understand what I'm trying to accomplish, and he recommends best tools and practices according to his own experience. several times he's even asked me how this or that is doing from a past problem we've solved together. I try to seek him out whenever I've got a question, he either knows how to explain how to fix something, or the direction to point me in when he doesn't. He's so kind and helpful - THANK YOU Mike! There's another gentleman (I don't remember his name, I'm so sorry!) that helped me when I was purchasing a space heater a couple years ago when my furnace broke. We talked about why I was buying one and he ended up recommending a small business in town with furnace parts, and that small business directed me toward an honest contractor that fixed my issue in less than 5 minutes for no charge. It really saved my hide and my wallet that winter. And honorable mention for Richard at the paint counter, he retired a few years ago, but we worked together several times while I was painting my entire house interior. He was the sweetest most helpful soul and I hope he's having a great retirement. Taylorsville Lowe's, your people are what keep me coming back. I go out of my way to shop at this specific location. Some of us are making our way through life without a village, I don't have someone to call when I need a drain replaced or an outlet changed. I was there for a pick up order, took forever employee were not very nice. Didn't know what to do.

My item was not received by the "delivery" date that was communicated to me. There were no updates initially after the first text notification after purchase. I had to contact the store myself to ask about the status of my order. It took multiple calls and being told the "assembler" wasn't working until the following week (I paid for assembly), however I wasn't notified until I called to inquire about my order and delivery status. The order was delayed, my husband took 2 full days off of work based on the "status of delivery" that I was informed of, neither of the 2 days was my order delivered. Once we did finally receive our order there were chipped paint off of the front stone area of the fireplace and the inside wasn't correctly placed to where I saw an LED light instead of the "fireplace" logs. My husband and I had to fix this ourselves. I have never been more dissatisfied with Lowe's for the amount of money I paid for this fireplace. I do not think I will continue to be a loyal member, I will take my business elsewhere. read more

We've been looking for a new fridge at a reasonable (for us) price point for years as ours sounds like it's going to die at any given moment and is so old we can't find replacement parts any more. Oh Lowes why did you disappoint me so? I do like the assigned parking spaces for our veterans. Lots of parking spaces for those of us who are not veterans and/or handicapped , but can get crowed especially now that the weather has turned nice, and people want to get outside, even if it's just to do much needed repairs. I came here today to see if they had what I was looking for, they didn't. Or at least I couldn't find it, and good luck trying to find someone to help you. This Lowes is smaller than other Lowes I've been to, and a lot more chaotic. There wasn't any employees walking around to ask for help, and the signage that Lowes has is not helpful at all. We recently purchased a fridge, and a washer and dryer... we were charged for these appliances before they showed up... we waited a week and they were supposed to arrive Tuesday 6/24 they didn't with no communication, just repeated updated times that they would be delivered in 4 hour increments first 10 to 2 then 1 to 5 then 3 to 7. Before finally we got ahold of a rep that said weird looks like they didn't make it onto the truck... nice. Great service there. But then come to find out they sold a washer to us that they dont possess and is on back order now, how is your inventory and sales systems so out of sync with this. It's wild yall are still in business with this service and lack of inventory/sales systems and selling items to your customers that you dont have yet without notifying them its on back order at time of purchase. Fast forward to today 6/27 delivery times confirmed for at least the fridge and the dryer. No eta at all on when they get the washer, several emails 10 to 2 its now 1:50 and I may be jumping the gun on this if so and they show up in 10 min I'll remove at least this portion of the review. But you having 2.4 stars average across your locations IS very telling. Terrible business practices and terrible service. I love this store, but my health isn't as good as it use to be. Today I walk I and was going to get a riding cart because a one needed to things and they were on different ends of the store. I have never found all the carts being used. So I ask the casher at returns if they moved the carts someplace else. She informed me that every cart was being used. So I attempted to shop with the help of a cart. After I checked out and was heading out the exit, all four carts were inside the doors at the exit.. I guess when they bring them back from the parking lot it much easier for them to put them where no one will use them again, so they don't need to bring them back in all day. Thanks Lowe's read more

My Refrigerator died a week before Turkey day . You can imagine the stress and needing one asap. Dropped by after work and was pleasantly surprised to see some options at sale prices. Of course we needed our ice maker and haulaway which both were eligible with the Whirlpool we selected . When arriving there was not a teammate visible. Josiah did and excellent job answering our questions and even went the extra mile to the stockroom making sure they had it as the in-stock showed only 3 and two were on hold. Received my fridge today just before needing to start work and Lowes delivery gave me a courtesy call and provided all-star service and in a timely manner my new fridge was all set up . Be careful if you're a business man, contractor, or anyone that needs anything in the morning between 8-830am. They have a long meeting in appliances and couldn't be bothered with customers. There were several people after I was helped commenting 'where are the workers' after their very visible meeting. The guest service manager just stood at the desk doing whatever else for almost 5 minutes until I loudly asked if anyone was working today (I admit, also not in a nice way) This store is constantly out of things that they say are in stock. Either they have an insane amount of theft or they aren't auditing their popular items. I did an order pickup just because I didn't want to waste the trip their and they didn't have 2 of the 6 items that I needed. I also think they are wasting time as they called me 2 times to let me know. I'm so disappointed because I usually have a good shopping experience at Lowe's. We need new windows and the guy at the Murray store was very helpful. Good experience shopping in the store, not so great experience with the people who were supposed to do our windows estimate. A few days before my apt. I confirmed my apt over the phone. I confirmed my apt again when I replied to an email that asked a couple questions such as what type of windows we wanted & how many we needed. On the day of, my apt was at 9am. At 9:45 I decided to call the # in the email bcuz I had not recieved any calls from the person who was supposed to give me a windows estimate and no one had shown up yet. I left a message on the answering machine. At 9:54 I decided to call the main office just in case the other lady had the day off or something. Worst experience!!! We ordered carpet for our whole house from Lowes. The carpet install is awful and completely unacceptable. There is a major disconnect between Lowes and their installing team. Lowes will lay out the plan without consulting the customer and the install team cannot or will not vary from that plan. If they do, they are financial responsible. In the end, Lowes did not stand behind the product and did not make it right. Carpet and flooring is a major expense for a homeowner. DO NOT purchase your carpet at Lowes. Peas. Peas are what brought me to Lowe's today. Well, maybe not the peas themselves, but the pursuit of peas. And I already had the peas themselves, in seed form, I just needed to get the garden bed ready to plant them. The last two years have taken their toll on soil levels on my little raised beds, so it was off to Lowe's for some soil and soil amendments. I've long preferred Lowe's to the orange store for the garden stuff. Except today I was a little disappointed in the inventory at Lowe's. Perhaps I'm just jumping the gun and it will pick up (certainly the annuals have not yet arrived) but even the soil, pavers, poop, and other bagged goodies seemed to be limited. Maybe I'm just used to the Quarry Bend location? Maybe the layout was different and it was an optical illusion? Dunno, but I had hoped for a little better selection. And the one thing that the orange folks to have that I wish Lowe's carried was Perlite. I got my vermiculite at Lowe's, but a little perlite to throw into the mix wouldn't hurt. So I did get the compost and poop and peat and vermiculite. Mixed up my master batch of soil and got the bed filled. And the peas? Soaked fully and ready to come alive with warmer soil temps. Peas, love, rock 'n roll. I've gone on about my preferences in the Lowe's/HD overall comparison before, so here's my breakdown: Lowe's: Garden, Bathroom (vanities, etc.), flooring, paint, kitchen (cabinets) and anything pretty or finished HD: Electrical, plumbing, hardware, lumber, and anything raw or contractor-ish. we purchased new sink, faucet and garbage disposal on 9/3/2022 we paid for all including install from Lowes. It is now a month and a half later sink and or garbage disposal is not installed yet, they have rescheduled five times and last one the sixth Handy the company they contract work out for canceled. we have wasted 2 saturdays waiting for install guys no call or text, my wife has wasted time off work also. this is not very good customer service it should not take a month and a half to install a sink. no one can give us an answer on when this install might happen. if you purchase from Lowes do not use their install services it is not worth the headache read more

I ran to this Lowe's many times before and today was the first time I had an issue with cashier disturbing my Service Animal. My Service dog was in her gear and says IN TRAINING DO NOT DISTRACT ...PLEASE ASK TO PET. I sat there after I finished my transaction with a lovely woman and I could tell she saw I was annoyed and then I turned to him and explained to him to not distract my service animal as she's in training he had many questions why he wasn't allowed and I told him he needs to respect her and read her vest. He asked if I was on the bus and if I was the one to not touch the dong, I told him no and again I explained to him each handler has their own rules for their service animal. I told him I wouldn't mind him petting her as long as he didn't distract her and he needed to ask fist, I explained to him other have their rule if they don't want their dogs pet he said the dog on the bus was wagging it's tail so he wanted to pet it but the handler wouldn't allow it. He then explained to me he had a traumatic brain injury and o said the next time her sees service d animal in their vest to first ask the handler if not he needs to contain himself. 0 stars. My business purchased a generator in Texas so we would have one while on the road for our business travels. We had it several days and it never fully functioned the way it should have and after contacting Craftsman, they told us we could return it since it may have been defective. After calling this Lowe's and confirming we could exchange it for the same one, we showed up and both the front manager who was an older heavy-set lady with grey hair and the manager on duty (I believe her name was Tiffany) were not helpful in any way; both were fairly stubborn and arrogant when we told them what our situation was and didn't seem to care about our customer care. On both the Craftsman website AND Lowe's website, it states that we can make a return without a proof of purchase since we were from Texas with no receipt and a defective generator, yet management at this store refused to honor those policies. After arguing with them for about half an hour, we called the corporate office for their assistance and after about an hour speaking with them, they confirmed we could make the exchange and this Lowe's location would have to honor that policy, which made one of the managers (Tiffany) fairly distraught. Said manager actually yelled at whomever was on the line at Corporate, and was then filed a complaint against by the Corporate office as well as additional complaints by us and other customers. Finally after nearly two hours, we were able to get an exchange and both managers we talked with, especially the old heavy-set lady with gray hair, we're both upset their ego had been put in check by corporate even after arguing with us for hours. The managers here have no concept of customer service, have no knowledge or understanding about honoring their own policies, would rather argue with customers than actually help them, and the overall experience was extremely poor. Thank god I'll never have to come here again because their management are sheep who don't know what they're doing. What a joke. Honestly feel like we should have been given an additional store credit for having to deal with such ignorance and nonsense from "management." read more

Service isn't as good as I thought it would be but the selection of things here definitely balances out. I was looking for floor lamps to put in my apartment, and found a killer deal on some modern looking lamps for a great deal but when I went there - they were gone! :/ Luckily, I rung up the manager and got him to give me the display for HALF off (almost dirt cheap), and then promise to hold the first incoming batch (my second floor lamp) for me. I was stuck at work and there was an item that I desperately needed help with something that I know only Lowe's on 4500 had, so I called but they kept hanging up on me, or when someone answers she'll transfer me to a line that no one picks up, IT WAS A REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE, I kept calling till someone picked up I asked as of why they keep hanging up, she apologized and said that they were really busy, that I understand but no reason for employees to keep hanging up on customers, that's RUDE on the other hand your customers service is terrible, she ask for my name/number and said that someone will return my call... it's been 4 weeks now I never receive a call from them, therefore I took my business to Home Depot and I was happy I did.... Just another nice afternoon outing: a mother/daughter shopping trip, to Lowes, for a power drill. No, neither of us had any idea what we were looking for, or really what we were looking AT as we scanned the wall full of stuff that goes 'rrrrrrrrrr'. We must have had the same sort of look on our faces that most guys get when trying to shop out a new purse for their adored one: lost, scared, overwhelmed, perplexed, perhaps a little nauseous. I was just starting to break out into a cold sweat when the department guy spotted us and hurried over to save the day. He got down to business right away by asking our price range, and then handed us the one we wanted. He then took the time to explain WHY that was the one we wanted. Sounds good to me! I was very grateful. And even MORE grateful that we were able to get out of there in 15 min flat instead of spending the whole afternoon pondering and reading and squinting over the merits of various items that all looked pretty much the same to be, but somehow managed to cover a very wide range of prices. read more

Alright, so I probably go to this Lowes at least once every week or two. Sometimes more depending on what projects I have going on or if I'm going through home improvement withdrawal--usually in the dead of winter. That is not because I am in love with this particular Lowes, it just so happens that it is right down the street and you know what they say: If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with. So.... this review is going to encompass my experiences with this Lowes over a period of several years. First of all, it's a Lowes. You know what they sell, so no surprises there. Selection-wise it is similar to other Lowes. No need to go out of your way to visit this particular Lowes in general. They are pretty good at keeping all the basics in stock, which I appreciate. They also offer a rather decent--if not what is expected from a big box home improvement store--selection of whatever you could possibly want for your basic run of the mill home improvement items. Prices are pretty standard for the product sold and sometimes they have sales or rebates or what not which is appealing, especially when you're like me and you wonder if you should get those nice looking paving stones for your back yard or eat for the week. Several years ago, I did buy a stove for my rental property from them and didn't have any issues, but overall I can't really comment on their appliance section or the kitchen and bath remodel services area. The gardening section is pretty good. In the peak gardening season there will be a wide variety of plants in and outside to choose from. For the most part, I've found that the staff adequately waters and cares for the plants in their care. The plants are in good health and they do get a variety of houseplants in over the year. I do wish they had a bigger pot section and maybe rotated their selection more often. The permanent employees who have been there for a while (or years) have all been quite friendly and knowledgeable. The temporary hires have been a hit or a miss. Some are rather friendly, despite not having the exact knowledge to help with what I might need; but then sometimes they are simply quite rude and I have been ignored several times. I generally only have these problems in the peak gardening season when they have a lot of temporary employees working. The paint area is another area of the store I like to take long romantic walks to select something to take home with me. Almost without exception, I've found customer service to be very good in this area. Product selection is very satisfying as well. There's not much else to say here except for I keep coming back so it's pretty cool. Now... I have had some fans installed, and other minor things sold to me that took a little more involvement with a sells person. My actual installs have been great, but I swear every single time I have to deal with an older man to do all the paperwork and 90% of the time I walk away feeling like they either didn't want to deal with me or they treated me like I was stupid or simply don't listen to what I'm saying. As a female, I highly resent this because I do a lot of home projects and the last thing I need is a condescending attitude from a sales associate who seems to be discriminating against me for my gender. (Note: This is not to say that I've had bad service from every older man working at Lowes--Some have been very helpful and fantastic and if I knew their names I'd sing their praises in this review, but in my dealings with the ones who I needed to fill out paperwork with for installations, I have been highly unimpressed.) Cashiers here are also a hit or a miss. Some are professional and friendly, but there are some who either have no idea what they're doing and/ or it is extremely apparent that they are unhappy with their job. I am completely aware that being a cashier is not a dream job, and working retail can be very challenging at times; but perhaps this Lowes needs to spend more time training their employees on how to do their job and also proper customer service skills. To wrap up this review: This Lowes is neither great nor sub-par. It's basically what you would expect from a Lowes. I continue to shop at this location because it is close by, but I wouldn't go out of my way to shop at this specific location if I lived elsewhere. Long-time employees I've interacted with have been great for the most part and tend to be quite knowledgeable and friendly. There are some customer service issues I've dealt with that could be addressed in a smaller handful of employees--in specific friendliness, job knowledge, and treating female customers without bias. The store is clean and well maintained. Prices are pretty average and items are generally in stock. read more

Lowe's Home Improvement warehouse offers an extensive collection of home and garden products from paint and plumbing to lumber and hardware. They have a large garden section during the warmer months and seasonal items like Christmas trees in December. Although I generally prefer the product selection at Home Depot this Lowe's is close to my house and a convenient stop when I need something fast. Since this store used to be an Eagle the layout is a little different than other Lowe's and can be confusing. Store employees are always friendly and eager to help when you need it. read more

So after 30 minutes of a Chinese Fire Drill I went home. Got ANOTHER email saying it was there. I called and asked them to put their hands on it before I came. They sad its right here. I ordered Graber shutter from Lowers. They sent someone measured it for us, it turned out the measurement of the shutters more than half of them were wrong! And there's big gaps between my windows and the shutters! I complained to them, they said my windows were not square enough so I could not expect they can fit very well! After I complained to them again, and waited another 5 weeks, they have someone came into my home and reinstalled some of the window shutters. My wift said we could not expect they can fix every gaps on the windows, since they said that was normal, even big gaps between four sides of the windows and shutters! I know my relative had her shutters installed that fit her windows perfectly good! We have paid, if I can choose, I can get the money back and go for the other company.
