My husband and I was going to purchase a new washing machine from them. We got online and found one we liked, paid extra for them to unhook our old one and hook up new one ( also purchased new hoses). It was supposed to be delivered on Wednesday. We called after our expected delivery time had passed and they said our washer was damaged so they was going to get us another new one and it will be here Friday. Ok great... Friday comes they my husband calls them to make sure they are still delivering it, they now inform us that we have to go to the store and buy the hose which we told them we already purchased online :( they got upset and said well now we can't unhook your old washer and hook the new one up after we paid extra for that service. Bought 12 sheets of 3/8 3-ply plywood. Sign inside said ~$40. We paid, drove around back, loaded it ourselves. We found what we thought was the correct product by verifying the product number on the receipt with the number written on the steel. The price under it said ~$21. After we loaded it, and arrived back at the gate, the attendant, Amy (who was very polite), said we picked up the wrong product. She said she could not do a price adjustment on it since there was such a big difference. It was determined that the product we purchased was not out in the lumber yard at all. That we would have to go back and unload the wrong product and then go back inside the main building to get our correct product. Where are the associates to help load the correct product? There was a young man, Ashton, who did help put the wrong product back on the shelf but then he disappeared to help load the correct product. What are the managers who do the price changes doing that they aren't getting the labels changed in all the right places? Are the people in the lumber yard so distracted that they can't even pay attention to where they are placing product? If they are, they probably shouldn't be operating the forklift. And we didn't even get any compensation for the inconvenience of having to load our product (or what we thought was our product) twice! read more

I went to Lowe's looking for a specific washer model. They had one on sale that wasn't the EXACT model I was looking for, but the sales rep assured me that it was just the newer version of the one I wanted. I thought the price looked right, so I ordered the washer, dryer and matching pedestals, scheduled for delivery two weeks later. The rep also sold me all sorts of cables and accessories for the set. Once I got home, I'd looked it up online so I could show some friends... and discovered terrible reviews. First of all, it was NOT the newer version of the one I wanted, but a Lowe's-specific model. 90% of the online reviews gave it a 1-2 star rating, stating that this particular model was known for breaking within 3-6 months of purchase. The ONLY good thing out of this whole mess is: the manager was prompt about refunding the money and sending out the refund confirmation, and he was very nice about it. Seriously though, this place has a nasty reputation for selling subpar products and passing them off as the right one, as seen by not only my experience by the experiences of my friends & family. read more

Went to Lowe's to get some replacement parts and DIY Wood Projects. Their saw was down and I couldn't get wood cut to a specific length. I was looking for a 6" furniture leg and ended up empty handed. They had 4" in the style I was looking for. or 8" and not in the style I needed. Cashier was friendly and did her job of wrapping glass up so it would not break easily and asking for additional services. They remodeled since I've been in there last. I am currently waiting to get insulation they said it will be 20 min till some one can get it down for me. My hubby and I have remodeled a few homes and have used Lowes often. We are soooooo disappointed with the New Philly Lowes. There are too many reasons to list. If you have a project involving contractors through this store, travel to Canton. This store's customer service is a nightmare. read more

Terrible customer service. Went there everyday for a week during a missions trip. Every time we asked for help the employees were extremely rude and mean to us. No matter which department we were in they acted as if we were an extreme bother to them. Will never go back. read more
