For the most part, Lowe's usually has everything I look for. I end up at Lowe's several times a week for my home & building projects. The only issue I have that would not make it a 5 star review is the assistance they have working there. It's really hard to find someone to help you when looking for a particular item. Sometimes you do find an employee to help but that's a a far as it goes. It may be the lack of employees but all businesses in the area are experiencing g the same problems. It's been on multiple occasions that I have gone there for something and eventually end up leaving because 1: I can't find anyone to help or 2: If I did find a person they couldn't help me at all. May 1st, 2025, 1pm. You have an employee/male/dude with earrings who told me NO he could not match paint from a photo on my phone. Pitiful service. Per Google: Yes, Lowe's can match paint colors from photos on your phone, but the accuracy might not be as precise as a physical sample. They use a color matching tool to create a custom blend that closely resembles the color in the photo, but factors like lighting, phone screen variations, and the original paint's condition can affect the final match. read more

I went to Lowe's today to return an item. There were three women behind the counter. One was waiting on a customer but the other two were walking as slow as anyone possibly could without coming to a complete stop. They were "cleaning", basically spraying disinfectant on nothing. They knew there was a line of people waiting on them. When I was finally waited on, the employee was rude and it was actually uncomfortable. I couldn't wait to get out of there. If I could give zero stars I would. Purchased a new wall oven with installation for over $2500. They finally come install it, but only partially - said they needed to come back later to do the trim kit. Its been a week and a half and I have not heard a damn thing back from them. Be careful here when using gift cards here. I had a 50$ gift card and when I went to check out, the employee scratched the PIN number off with scissors. The lady told me to call the customer service number they couldn't help me so forwarded my information to the store. The manager called me and told me to go to customer service and she would make sure it was going to get taken care of. We go and waited two hours while the customer service made several phone calls about it. Not once did a manager come to talk to us they just called her and she was telling them what to do. I worked in customer service for 5 years this is terrible customer service. They could have just given me another gift card. We left because they couldn't take care of it and just gave me the same corporate customer service number to call. read more

I bought a backsplash from them paid in full they where to install it on October 19 2021 Between 8 am- 8 pm They NEVER called to tell me they where not coming I changed all my plans to wait for them !! I have to give 1 star but they don't deserve that one. I ordered a window back in aug of 2022, they lost the first one, the second one was the wrong sized. Finally they replaced my window in October then refused to come replace all the trim they tore off that was not nessesary. They attempted to send the installers " A to Z " out of El Paso. Both times they left me waiting for at least 2 hours and never showed up. I requested another installer and lowes informed me they have no one else to do it. A to Z sucks. Do not let them come to your house and I don't recommend ordering anything from Lowe's. Of course you have to pay up front which is a horrible idea. I am done with lowes and will never order anything from them again. They are thieves. They take your money and refuse to deliver. read more

Wish I would have read all the bad reviews. Wr have always bought from here or Home Depot. We tend to go more to Lowe's since it's closer. However, We purchased a hood that was 400$ online and our contractor was behind so our project got delayed by 4 months, well anyway the hood was never opened until the day we were going to install it it, we opened the box and when we took it out of the box the screw fell out. The manager refused to take it back, we were just needing either a replacement or store credit, they still refused, they said they have a 48hour return policy, now we are stuck with a defective item. Home Depot has at least a 90 day return policy, and will makes exceptions for things such as this. Again I was attempting to return a new item that was defective. Customer service is hard to find now a days. I am not sure I want to make any big purchases here. read more

I bought a washer and dryer from Lowe's. They were delivered today but they both had problems so the delivery guys took them back. I cannot get anybody on the phone to ask when or if I will eventually get them. When I call their number all I get is a recording that keeps hanging up on me. I'm so angry. Today 12/29/19 @12:10pm by self checkout register, my husband and I we had purchase 7 items of tools for over $300, we had scanned all the 7 items and during the process of scanning the items I had mentioned that is so expensive and my husband said after one of the item I scanned so fast and I hold one of the item by accident to scanned other item that both cost about $7.95. My husband told me that I have to put the item to the bag before scan other items. Since I was in the rush that distracted me. So, when we are about to pay with 2 transactions of payment, partials of Lowe's credit card and debits card, but one of the self checkout staff Celia approach to us before I ask for her assistance and she grabs the bag to somewhere I can't see her scanned the items to avoid activate the alarm. But she is not listening to us that we still in the process of paying the items, we need help in the self checkout first. Only the self checkout staff can assist us. But she doesn't listen to us, she took our items somewhere that I can't see her whatever she was doing, since I need her help to do 2 transactions of payment and when to see why she so desperate with our items. She doesn't listen we need help and she put our stuff to a new bags, when she put into 2 bags walk away with our items and she left behind one of our item behind the counter, she act like she doesn't know and I don't know why she doing that. I told her why you treat us like that??? You are thinking that we are taking something from here???? But she doesn't do that to other customer in the self checkout, but she just pick us to do all does unnecessary act. I feel offended by her,because she almost make one of our value item behind the register. So I ask for a manager and she doesn't listen to me, so I ask other staff for a manager is urgent I need to talk to a manager, they took a little while to have a manager PJ to come approach to us, I told her the whole situation with the self checkout staff and she can't explain why she do that. Because I haven't finish my payment before Celia take my items to scan our items. If she do that to everyone, so then customer either leave item behind because how she handles customer paid item that need to scanned somewhere. I told PJ to check the cameras to see the whole process how she handle and leave my item behind to a register that is not operating. I don't have to say much, all the camera is my witness. I told the manager PJ, why the company have the self checkout and customer still have to scan the item. The self checkout is to design to move the line faster from the regular cashier. ALL THIS IS BECAUSE ME AND MY HUSBAND WE ARE DIFFERENCES CULTURES THAN HER?? IS SO NOT RIGHT HOW LOWE'S STAFFS TREAT CUSTOMER. LIKE THAT. The manager PJ inform me that is not like that, but PJ just listen and she didn't give me a good reason why Celia do that. I told her that we are customer with Lowe's for long times in Miami, but they never treat us like that. After that there 2 Lowe's staffs was listening the conversation me and PJ, they don't know why Celia do that either, one of them left the conversation and Leslie was listening the conversation about Celia act. But they can't do anything, so I ask who is the store manager here, she said "Will". So, I will talk to the store manager tomorrow, I need to have a statement about the way Celia treat us. Because we will continue purchase in Lowe's, but I don't want this type of situation will happen again and is not right to treat customer like that. We stood at the counter for about 5mins which is fine because she acknowledged we were there but after she asked what she could help with she sent us back to state at the floor we needed and for about 45 mins or more she never came and helped other customers who came along!! This store isn't too bad at all. If you do visit, avoid it on Saturday's, it's a sheer nightmare. Customer service is pretty overloaded, and if you make a return before noon on a Saturday, be prepared for a wait. The employees here are very nice, especially considering the patience they need to have with the hoards of folks that pass through that store, just making a mess of the place. However, DON'T order online, for in store pickup. It's awful. They take ages to bring your order up, and I even had to call a manager last time. My husband waited almost an hour for someone to bring our order up to the front for pickup. (I placed a special order online, they didn't carry the items in store, so I HAD to do in store pickup-ugh). But, once I called the manager and told him about the wait, (DeMarco), he had our order brought to the front within five minutes. I had to come back and update my review. If you are looking for a place to buy plants, or trees, this is where to go. There are a few other local options, but they don't have a return policy. Lowe's offers a year returns on plants-even if you buy them on clearance and half dead! (Not a bad idea though, most of mine came 'back to life' with a little love and TLC.) THE EMPLOYEE to talk to is Sherry in the garden department, oh my gosh, this lady knows everything about plants! She was super busy moving and stocking plants, running the register, etc, but she still had the time to answer my plant questions-and she actually knew what to do for them! so many times I will shop for plants, and people/employees can't really help you with knowledge about which ones are good for drought areas, shade, etc. It's frustrating! Sherry was on top of things! Told me which of my plants to place together, which would need more water, how many fruit plants to buy for proper bearing, what the numbers on the plant tags meant, just awesome! So happy to finally shop in a place where the person actually knows everything about their department!! I had to come back and update my review, because customer service here has gone downhill. I brought some of the plants back to return, because they died. Lowe's does still have the year warranty, but the lady at the customer service desk acted as if my return was a personal insult to her. I had my receipts, the plants, and the plant labels. She was so unfriendly!! She rudely told me I was supposed to bring them back in the black containers that they came in, and I didn't know that! Then the plants dropped some dirt on the counter so I apologized multiple times, and dusted it off into the trash with some paper towels. This was the most unpleasant experience I have had here, and we are in Lowe's at least twice a month. We buy all our appliances, paint, and plants here, because my husband remodels homes as a side job, but after this, I'm giving home Depot a chance. Just fyi, you'll find better quality plants at John's corner, and way better service too. read more

Okay not to put anyone down we all know that the Permian Basin is overflowed with people that just don't really give a shit about customer experience. I went into this particular Lowes last year to get some electrical wire cut for a new meter and circuit breaker box installation. We all know how critical this is because they do not refund cut wire. Well, the elderly man that day shorted me a foot. Today I go in and I asked for 18ft this time instead of 16, well lo and behold I get home and it's two feet short. Needless to say I have the right length but I was shorted 2 ft this time not just one. If you're going to be so anal about refunds on already cut wire, train your people to do their job efficiently. If you can't conversate and work then keep your mouth shut. I could have done without hearing about your pepper Garden then getting home with an unsatisfactory product that I paid good money for. Lesson learned from now on I will not only check my food product since that's a big issue in Midland Odessa as well, I will also be doing other people's jobs and checking up on them like I'm at work myself. read more
