I placed an order online for a washer to be delivered, which was delivered within a couple days. Once the delivery truck arrived, my brand new washer looked as if it had been dropped off the back of the truck, massive dent in the side that wrapped around the back. The delivery driver calls the on duty manager, Larry, and offers me a 15% discount if I wanted to keep the unit. I'm unsure that it will even function, so I politely decline and ask for it to be taken back. I ask the delivery driver if he knew when they'd be able to return with another washer and was given the answer of "about a week or so". Given that I needed a new washer fairly soon, I decided I'd just attempt to find another way to transport a replacement from the store to my home. The driver informed that the refund would not be done, that it would take a few days for it to go back in my account. Which is not an issue considering I intended to purchase another washer from Lowe's. Once the drivers leaves I attempt to contact the store manager to discuss my options. The first call I was put on hold for about 10 minutes before the call was disconnected. I call back, and get another lady on the phone, mentioned I had been disconnected and explained my situation in hopes that she may have some input. I was again put on hold for several minutes, until the call was disconnected again, only this time I was able to hear the phone picked up and immediately slammed back down. I called again, explaining to another lady that this would be the third attempt to reach the manager or someone who could help me. Uninterested in my situation, she placed me on yet another hold, about 15 more minutes, until the phone was disconnected yet again. I make one more attempt to reach Larry, which only led to the same result I experienced before, a wait and a disconnect. Never once was I even asked to leave a message or my number so that someone could return my call. I can understand being busy, and I'm typically a very easy person to please, but the obvious lack of concern and the way I've been handled thus far is completely unacceptable. I'm a paying customer, I have paid for a product I don't even have yet, and can't seem to find anyone that's cares enough and is willing to help fix the issues I'm facing. read more

After discovering the Meridian Lowes did not have enough of the grout we needed, our contractor went online and found enough at Philadelphia, so we did an online pickup-at-the store order. With in a few minutes we got both an email and a call that the order was ready for pickup. My husband got to the store a little after 5 p.m., and they were busier than he expected, but he said the employees knew exactly where the order was and arranged for help loading the 150 lbs of grout. He was astounded at their friendly, efficient service because our Meridian store has not proven to be the best at customer service. He said they need to pick up the Philadelphia store and their employees and move them about 40 miles to Meridian because they know how to treat customers. read more
